Words can be important, but both actions and the results that really matter. Hence, a POTUS – any POTUS – should be judged upon his record and the records, if any, that he sets. 😉

Yes, back in the day, the “Press” was staffed largely by American journalists and editors. The press back then focused on facts and strove for objective reporting thereof. They deserved both their right to freely report upon our government and its officials and the various privileges that were granted to them, e.g., largely unfettered access to the halls of power and the credence and respect of the American people.
Now, however, the “Press” mostly doesn’t exist at the national level. There are few, if any, actual journalists left in that degenerated industry. No. Now we don’t have a “Free Press.” What he have is an unregulated, largely accountable propaganda corps for the Democrat party being passed off as the 4th Estate. No. What we now have is a Lamestream Enemedia spewing biased and fake news and, thereby, abrogating any 1st Amendment rights they might have in the same way that criminals by their actions have abrogated certain of their basic rights.
Not that is is truly new. The MSM’s “calling” to #Resist anything That President Trump does or doesn’t do and their quite open alliance with anything that cries out #NeverTrump is merely the other side of the coin of their loyalties and ideology. They did, after all, spend eight years acting as Obama’s Praetorian Guard. They did, after all, spend those eight years shielding Obama from negative consequences and marginalizing any and all who spoke against his actions, rhetoric, and/or policies.
No. What the American people are dealing with now isn’t new. It’s just how the “Press” operates when their enemies have elected a POTUS.

Certain sorts are obsessed with the President’s golfing and with trying to make something evil out of it, e.g. CNN’s recent #TruckGate conspiracy theorizing. Of course, these same sorts are also pathologically obsessed with declaring that anything and everything that our President says or does – or doesn’t say, or doesn’t do – is wrong, stupid, and evil…Oh, yeah, and racist of course.
Trump’s Handicap
That’s the sad and horrific truth of it. President Trumps isn’t 2.8 as the USGA Handicap Index official rates it; it’s that he’s not Obama…and also not Hillary Clinton, whose destiny he is thought to have stolen.
To be fair though, some people nonsensically had issues with Obama’s golfing as well. The difference being the level of hatred involved being far greater now and the inclusion of the MSM in the vanguard of those ranting about it. But then this is part of President Trump’s handicap; the Lamestream Media has long considered themselves America’s kingmakers and Trump’s election blew that self-aggrandizing fantasy out of the water, as did his shining the light of public awareness upon just how much of what they “report” is Fake News.

One sadly common refrain among America’s domestic enemies is that Hillary Clinton’s destiny was stolen from her, first by Barack Obama and then by Donald Trump. Disturbingly, the Left believed that Hillary was destined to be POTUS. Hence, her repeated defeats were the theft of that ordained outcome.
Hillary’s Stolen Destiny?
But what actual destiny of Hillary’s was stolen from her? Perhaps the destiny that was “stolen” from her was her ordained appointment with Death at the hands of an assassin. Perhaps her destiny was to be the fifth US President to be assassinated while in office.
One does have to wonder if that wasn’t the destiny many of them hoped for Hillary. Given her baggage and nefarious history she would have served them better as a martyr than as a POTUS
After all, we Americans who voted against Hillary are a seething, frothing, violent,unwashed, uneducated horde of deplorable, mouth breathing, knuckle dragging, sexist, misogynist, hoplophilic, patriarchal, Nazis – or so those who supported Hillary identify us as being. If that is the case, what other destiny than death could Hillary have had if elected?
And then there’s the #BernieBros and #BernieGirls, who would have had their own very definite and specific reasons to enact lethal reprisals upon Hillary if she had won the 2016 elections…
It could be that Mr. Trump did Hillary a favor by “stealing” her destiny. 😉 Probably not though. Obama survived eight years as POTUS and, despite the much-hyped hysteria that some racist would assassinate him, not a single credible threat ever got anywhere near him despite the ongoing poor service record by the Secret Service.
