The Great Green Delusion

The Great Green Delusion – An Electric Fleet

It’s odd that both Elon Musk and Akio Toyoda have been the ones that spoke the truth about converting the world’s fleet of automobiles to Electric Vehicles (EVs). Yet, it’s unsurprising that, aside from a short “news” cycle of outrage and derision from the Green Left, what they said has been ignored by these same delusional climatards and their media outlets.

As there are none so blind as those who will not see, so too are there none so deaf as those who will not hear. And that sums up what passes for the mentality of these sorts. Their delusion is reinforced by the dogma and is not subject to interventions by facts that contradict their visions of the future they want to enact up the world.

Stolen Cowardice

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka AOC, says a lot of stupid stuff, much of which seems to be borderline insane, indicative as it is of a deep-seated paranoia and persecution complex. But acognition and madness aren’t a valid excuse for anything. There are some false claims, be they lies or delusions, that aren’t going to be tolerated. They are too far beyond the pale and too easily refuted with the truth by any who care to do so.

In this case, it’s AOC’s stolen cowardice video, wherein she claimed that she was hiding in the closet of her office while the Capitol protesters hunted for her.

Of course, AOC wasn’t even in the Capitol Building during the incursion. She was across the Capitol campus, in the Cannon Building.

Ah well. Not much to do about this. As we all know, AOC’s mouth is only used for two things: spewing crazy, paranoid, bullshit, and performing the “services” that keep her in office. šŸ˜‰

Dems’ Unified Vision

Dems’ Unified Vision

The Democrats are now calling for unity behind their President and their vision for the future iteration of the nation. But their cries for such unity of support and vision do little but call up memories of prophetic works and social commentary of bygone days.

There was from the first very great opposition to the marriage of Nunez and Medina-sarote; not so much because they valued her as because they held him as a being apart, an idiot, incompetent thing below the permissible level of a man. Her sisters opposed it bitterly as bringing discredit on them all; and old Yacob, though he had formed a sort of liking for his clumsy, obedient serf, shook his head and said the thing could not be. The young men were all angry at the idea of corrupting the race, and one went so far as to revile and strike Nunez. He struck back. Then for the first time he found an advantage in seeing, even by twilight, and after that fight was over no one was disposed to raise a hand against him. But they still found his marriage impossible.

Old Yacob had a tenderness for his last little daughter, and was grieved to have her weep upon his shoulder.

“You see, my dear, he’s an idiot. He has delusions; he can’t do anything right.”

“I know,” wept Medina-sarote. “But he’s better than he was. He’s getting better. And he’s strong, dear father, and kind–stronger and kinder than any other man in the world. And he loves me–and, father, I love him.”

Old Yacob was greatly distressed to find her inconsolable, and, besides–what made it more distressing–he liked Nunez for many things. So he went and sat in the windowless council-chamber with the other elders and watched the trend of the talk, and said, at the proper time, “He’s better than he was. Very likely, some day, we shall find him as sane as ourselves.”

Then afterwards one of the elders, who thought deeply, had an idea. He was a great doctor among these people, their medicine-man, and he had a very philosophical and inventive mind, and the idea of curing Nunez of his peculiarities appealed to him.

One day when Yacob was present he returned to the topic of Nunez. “I have examined Nunez,” he said, “and the case is clearer to me. I think very probably he might be cured.”

“This is what I have always hoped,” said old Yacob.

“His brain is affected,” said the blind doctor.

The elders murmured assent.

“Now, WHAT affects it?”

“Ah!” said old Yacob.

THIS,” said the doctor, answering his own question. “Those queer things that are called the eyes, and which exist to make an agreeable depression in the face, are diseased, in the case of Nunez, in such a way as to affect his brain. They are greatly distended, he has eyelashes, and his eyelids move, and consequently, his brain is in a state of constant irritation and distraction.”

“Yes?” said old Yacob. “Yes?”

“And I think I may say with reasonable certainty that, in order to cure him complete, all that we need to do is a simple and easy surgical operation–namely, to remove these irritant bodies.”

“And then he will be sane?”

“Then he will be perfectly sane, and a quite admirable citizen.”

— “The Country of the Blind
H.G. Wells, April 1904

To be sure, there’s little to no doubt that the best and kindest of the opinions of Democrats is that Americans’ brains are affected and suffering from a constant state of irritation and distraction from our “diseased” eyes. And, much like the blind doctor, they have a cure to return us to their version of sanity.

Extreme Disillusionment

A Key Sign Of Extreme Disillusionment Is Believing That There Is No Real Difference Between Republican And Democrat Candidates
A Key Sign Of Extreme Disillusionment

Those people who claim that voting doesn’t matter because the candidates and their respective parties are, at the end of the day, all going to act the same are simply expressing a key sign of the pathology of extreme disillusionment. These – can’t really call them fringers anymore, not after two runs of Bernie Sanders – sad ideological extremists just “aren’t well” and aren’t truly capable of processing reality in a more normative fashion and seem to respond solely to stimuli that the rest of us don’t see.

Now true, at some past points in history, these sorts did have some modicum of a point. A professional, establishment Republican was not fundamentally different from a professional, establishment Democrat. Once elected, both differed in behavior from the other only in priorities and rhetoric. Those times, however, have been over for quite a while – something that the Left’s pundits bemoan regularly enough that only the paranoid would dispute the truth of it.

Frankly, between the election of Donald Trump, a total political outsider, to the office of President and Bernie Sanders’ two almost-nominations – both blocked almost solely through machinations of the DNC – it’s more than clear that the sufferers of extreme disillusionment are not enjoying the same consensus reality as the rest of us.

Indeed, instead of sheep voting for either the wolf or the lion, it’s now two opposing flocks of sheep each trying to put their sheepdog into power, thereby gaining the grazing lands for themselves.

Things Have Changed

With President Trump Things Have Changed

Now, It's Not ISIS Yelling Death To America; It;s Liberals Doing So
With President Trump Things Have Changed

Things have certainly changed since we, the People elected Donald Trump as the President of our nation. ISIS is no longer yelling, “Death to America;” they’re barely even around anymore at all. And the same can be said for most iterations of Muslim Terrorism. Indeed, when it comes to foreign enemies and global terrorism, the world has become less violent since President Trump took up the reins of power.

Sadly, on the domestic front, the domestic enemies of the People and the Nation have risen up in violent insurrection, fully endorsed and supported by the Democrats that they elected. “Death to America,” is still be shouted in various forms. It’s just being shouted by Liberals, Progressives, and their Blacks. And, some predict that it will dramaticaly increase and escalate if the American people reelect President Trump.

So yes, things have certainly changed under the management of the Trump Administration. The question that change poses for the American people is what solution are we wlling to enact to the question posed to us by the sorts that support the Democrats.
