What They’ll Never Say

Posted in Politics, Society on December 31st, 2013

What Liberals and the various fringe minorities they pander to will never think, much less say, is that their choices determine both their worth and their personal, familial, and communal outcomes.

Responsibility
Decisions, Not Circumstances, Matter

No, you will never, ever hear a Liberal or Progressive say this. You certainly will never hear any of the “Black Community” say it. Most especially you’ll never hear a Liberal or Progressive say this about any of the “Black Community.”

You’ll hear, if you give these sorts the hand-out of listening to them, quite the opposite. They’re whole ideology is based up circumstances, not choices, being to blame for any failure to achieve whatever is desired and upon those circumstances being imposed by selfish and oppressive people and groups.

A Do-Nothing Congress?

Posted in Politics on December 28th, 2013

Liberals and their Lamestream Media have denounced the 113th Congress as The Do-Nothing Congress and they’ve erroneously declared it The Least Productive Congress in History. Predictably, they declaim that this is wrong and evil and, equally predictably, they blame the GOP and only the GOP for this situation which they so deplore.

The 113th Congress is the Do-Nothing Congress?
The Do-Nothing Congress

To America’s domestic enemies the simply fact that the 113th Congress has passed just 58 laws to be sent to Obama’s desk so that his little robot can sign them into law so far is a major failing. This is simply because Liberals and Progressives measure the worth of Congress by the sheer quantity of public laws enacted. To them that is governance.

Leftists are ideologically unable to comprehend, much less understand, the simple truth that sometimes less is more and this is certainly true of the enactment of additional laws.

The Elephant’s Child sums it up well:

The Do-Nothing Congress has been good for America, and if they pass few new laws, we can breathe slightly more easily.  Congress passed just 70 laws, which may be too many. But Obama and Congressional Democrats planned an array of Big Government initiatives — gun control, immigration reform, a higher minimum wage, more job creation, infrastructure (again!), climate change, and education, to name only a few. Congress ended the year with none of those initiatives signed into law. And we are far better for it. No major tax hike, and the probability of a major tax hike in the next year has fallen.

NOTE: We have a minor discrepancy. The Elephant’s Child says 70 laws and my figures show 58. It’s not really here nor there but worth noting.

But then, this is the difference between Americans and the statists of the Left. Americans know that governing is not measured, at least positively measured, by the number of laws that are enacted.

Holder’s Hateful Knockout

Posted in Politics on December 27th, 2013

US Attorney General Eric HolderUp until now the Obama Regime’s most active and overt racist, Attorney General Eric “My People” Holder has remained utterly silent upon the predominantly Black criminal phenomenon of the Knockout Game. As long as it stayed mostly a Black on White thing they were more than happy to keep out of it and not bother to charge any of the captured thugs with federal hate crimes.

That has now finally changed. There’s actually been a case of a White thug playing the Knockout Game by assaulting an elderly Black man.

Of course, in what passes for the racism plagued psyche of Eric Holder, this is a hate crime and the the Justice Department is stepping right in to make a point.

The Justice Department said it filed a criminal complaint against 27-year-old Conrad Alvin Barrett on Tuesday and arrested him on Thursday. According to Justice officials, Mr. Barrett recorded himself on his cellphone attacking the 79-year-old man, laughing and saying “Knockout” as he runs away.

The charge marks the first time the administration has taken action on a “knockout” case after the game became an Internet and media phenomenon. It chose a case in which the person accused is white, even though most other cases reported in the news have involved black assailants.

Yet this is to be expected from the most active and overt racist within the Obama Regime. Of course the boy would only declare it a federal hate crime when it was White on Black. To thugs like Holder hate crimes can only be White on Black or Brown, never Black on anything.

A ghetto thug is a ghetto thug, whether it’s in a hoodie or dressed up in a suit. America’s laws were meant to control them, not be controlled by them. Holder certainly belongs more properly behind bars or hanging from a tree than he does in the DOJ or any other facet of civil society.

Blackest Irony

Posted in Humor, Society on December 27th, 2013

Jesse Jackson Smirking and pointing fingerI freely admit that, despite my disgust with the entirety of the Hipster subculture, I do love me some irony. 😉 I especially love irony that based upon- and caused by some jabbering idiot making idiotic statements, comparisons, and demands without even bothering to consider the overall context of the situation, themselves, or the agenda and/or constituents that they claim to represent.

The grifting blacktivist, Jesse Jackson’s latest jabbering screed is a perfectly example of this.

The irony! Feel it burn. Little is better on a cold, Winter’s day.

Phil Robertson’s homophobic comments to GQ were MORE OFFENSIVE than the words uttered by bus driver who tried to force Rosa Parks to sit on the back of his bus in 1955 … so says civil rights leader Jesse Jackson.

Jackson came out firing against the “Duck Dynasty” star this week … explaining, “These statements uttered by Robertson are more offensive than the bus driver in Montgomery, Alabama, more than 59 years ago.”

“At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her seat to a white person, was following state law. Robertson’s statements were uttered freely and openly without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe was ‘white privilege.'”

Jackson is demanding a meeting with A&E and Cracker Barrel execs … and even issued a Friday deadline … urging the network to uphold Robertson’s suspension from the reality show.

Firstly, given the “Black Community’s” fear and loathing of homosexuals, which far outpaces the “homophobia” of normal, White Americans but which is largely swept under the rug by the media, it’s very ironic that Jackson would make any statement about Robertson’s comments.

Out of fairness I have to say that TMZ could have got it wrong. Jackson could have been talking about Robertson’s comments on the happiness of the local Blacks way back when.

If that’s the case, Jackson’s jabbering isn’t ironic; it’s just a ridiculous and insulting false equivalency, but an expected one from a creature that makes it rent off of maintaining racism in the “Black Community”.

Secondly, the irony of some aging ghetto grievance-monger acting in even the least way as if his opinion or that of the thuggish hordes he claims to speak for would matter at all to a restaurant chain named Cracker Barrel is beyond the pale.

This is, indeed, the Blackest irony. 😆
