Reflections From a Murky Pond

Once again, Sydney Sweeney made a whole bunch of females’ heads explode, this time with her ad for the sports betting company Novig. In it, she can be seen naked or scantily clad, holding sports equipment. So, of course, various and sundry feminists are ranting, raving, and making a hysterical show of themselves over her ad… again.

What Ms. Sweeney really did, though, was once again expose the ugly hypocrisy of the Left, especially the current, toxic, and mindless generation of feminists, and of those female athletes who just aren’t pretty enough – or “correctly” different enough – to be offered such roles. These envious harridans don’t jabber a single negative word about the huge number of actual female athletes who regularly do quasi-erotic gigs, including bikini and lingerie modeling. No; these sorts either stay carefully silent or actively laud them for their “empowerment.” They only complain when it’s an objectively beautiful, blond-haired, blue-eyed, White, Republican woman.

Do not get me wrong. I too strongly dislike the fact that sexualizing female athletes is and has been the norm. Indeed, I ranted about it back in 2014. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to ignore the envious rancor, racial bias, and rank, ugly hypocrisy of those females who whine about Sydney Sweeney while ignoring all the female athletes who do the same work… or switched to doing porn!

The ever-so-delightful Sydney Sweeney has unveiled her second American Eagle campaign. This time around, it’s “Syd for Short,” a summer ad campaign for American Eagle’s line of denim shorts. 😛

And, let’s face the facts in evidence; there’s no more iconic fashion for the American summer than denim shorts. They’ve been a fashion symbol since the 1960s, with Catherine Bach literally providing the name, Daisy Dukes, to the cutoff versions in the 1970s.

Cue the Democrat outrage! Between showing Sydney Sweeney, the text in the image, and my titling this post “White Is Right,” any and all Democrats who actually found this post would be triggered.

There Can Be Only One Right

That is one of the internalized and not particularly consciously accepted planks of those who tend to vote Democrat. There can be only one right; all else must be wrong. When they hear or read something like “White is Right” or just see a beautiful White woman in an advertisement, they perceive it as anyone not White must be wrong or, at the very least, lesser.

They can’t accept, much less understand, that more than one thing can be right. To them, if one is right, all others can’t be.

This is why DEI, which might have been a good-ish thing – perhaps just a more accountable rebranding of affirmative action – so quickly became a racist nightmare. Non-White, non-Straight, non-Something became right, meaning White, Straight, Majority had to be wrong.

And It’s Democrat Economic Policy

This one is right, others wrong idea, or the underlying binary condition – a XOR gate if you will – is also essentially the Democrats’ economic policy. They – and by this, I mean their rank and file, not their wealthy leaders – hate with a black, bleeding passion wealthy people and want to strip them of that wealth because they truly believe that those people being wealthy means they’re poor.

That’s why they started incessantly harping, ranting, and raving about “Income Inequality.” This is in spite of the fact that real wages, i.e., adjusted for the insane inflation rate (55.51%), have increased by 11.9% since 2006, with some traditionally very low-income jobs having a 15%+ overall increase, largely due to the reality check Panicdemic gave employers.

In the modern, post-company town – Disney’s Reedy Creek Improvement District excepted – America, nobody is poor or particularly economically disadvantaged because someone else is wealthy. But that is blasphemy to Democrats and their even more Leftist associates… because only one thing can be good and all others must be bad.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case, those who created this axiom deeply undervalued it. 😆

Americans (The Right) and Democrats and their sharecroppers and hangers-on (The Left) are not the same at a fundamental level. Americans love America and its culture, history, and mores, whereas Democrats worship – or, at least propitiate – at the altars of depravity, insanity, and anti-Americanism.

They support, endorse, and appreciate things like Dylan Mulvaney, which portrays itself as a gross – and to suborn their own rhetoric, misogynist – caricature of a woman. Americans, on the other hand, celebrate the classic American beauty of Sydney Sweeney.

Oh, and the majority of us also celebrated Beyoncé’s Levi’s ad. The Left, especially their Blacks, not so much. 😉
