Anwar al-Awlaki Dead

Posted in Politics on September 30th, 2011

Anwar al-Awlaki - Extinct Muslim Jihadi VerminThe US-born jihadi vermin, Anwar al-Awlaki is reported to have been exterminated in an airstrike by an American drone in Yemen at approximately 10:00 local time in Yemen today, September 30,2011. Yemen’s foreign ministry said Awlaki was killed five miles outside of Kashef, in the al-Jawf province, about 80 miles east of Yemen’s capital, Sanaa.

Yemen’s Defense Ministry is also reporting that Samir Khan, another infamous mockery of human form, was exterminated in the same drone strike, though this has yet to be independently confirmed.

So much for Al-Qaeda’s best recruiters of jihadis within the Civilized World. They won’t be spewing and jabbering any more Islamist filth across the internet and the airwaves.

The world just became a little cleaner.

Help A Man…

Posted in Musings, Society on September 29th, 2011

Sometimes referred to as part of Scottish Wisdom and meant with all humor, this blunt statement carries with it a great weight of vastly unpleasant truth.

Help a man when he’s in trouble, and he’ll remember you when he’s in trouble again.

I think that what humor it evokes is of the “you either have to laugh or cry variety.”

It’s true though; more often than not, the result of helping is man is that he’ll first turn to you the next time he believes that he needs help – and so the cycle of irresponsibility and dependance begins.

Fucking Vegetables

Posted in Food & Drink, Humor, Society, Technology on September 29th, 2011

There’s a whole lot of flak about Genetically Modified (GMO) crops. All sorts of evils have been ascribed to them by various sorts who hate technology and/or the corporations who create them, mostly the latter.

The thing is that they’re complaining about all the wrong things!

Gentlemen, these sorts of “stuffing peppers” need to be eradicated post haste before we slide even further into irrelevancy. 8-O
