A people is not a transitory sum of individuals. It is not a chance aggregate. It is a reunion of inheritors of a specific fraction of human history, who, on the basis of the sense of common adherence, develop the will to pursue their own history and give themselves a common destiny.

Honestly, despite my strongly held belief that showing sympathy to a Democrat is a crime against America, Jill Biden does have a hard, thankless, and horrific job. She has to guide and protect her husband – all the while watching what’s left of his mind soften and slide into dementia.

2017 was a very interesting year, a true watershed in the history of the world, the West, and America. What makes it even odder to me that the one thing that sums up the highlights of 2017 actually took place in 2016, specifically on November 8th.
Yes! This video, though from 2016, sums up the foundation of what was 2017. It was, with the amazing and largely unexpected election of Donald Trump to the US Presidency, a year of America rebirth. Of course, like all births, it was accompanied by blood, sweat, and tears. In this case, the blood, sweat and bitter tears of Liberal and Progressives of all flavors as the weeped and gnashed their teeth over a birth that they unsurprisingly so wanted to abort. 😉
Yes, 2017 was the best of years…for we, the People; it was the worst of years for those others living within the borders of our once and future great nation.

OK, so I’m not compassionate. I and everyone who knows me knows that. But really! While certain sorts rant and rail about the lasting damages caused by Weinstein’s titularly non-consensual sexual predations, it’s his consensual relations that have caused the most and most lasting damage over the many years. 😉

Ladies and Gentlemen, My Fellow Americans, it’s so easy to heap scorn, derision, and disdain, upon Hillary Clinton. In truth, it is almost a divine mandate to do so, especially in the wake of her involvement with yet another rapist. But please! Show some measure of compassion towards Hillary. Imagine how she’s been feeling all this long time…

I don’t know if it’s a horror show or a dark comedy, but the blockbuster revelation of- and the scrambling response to the outting of Harvey Weinstein’s decades-long history of sexual harassment and sexual assault is quite the spectacle. 😉 Frankly, it’s one of the most interesting productions that has come out of Hollywood in a long time.
