Since the early twentieth century, Western society has been in the grip of a culture of repudiation – rejecting one by one the institutions, offices, traditions and achievements of the past, while having often little but sentimental emptiness with which to replace them.

Senate Dems Got Filibusted – And It Was Friendly Fire
Boom? No Boom! The Senate Dems led by Schumer – may he drown in pigs’ blood – actually took that fateful step towards armageddon and tried to effectively, if not technically, end the filibuster. But they got “filibusted,” and it was friendly fire since their attempt to destroy the functionality of the Senate was blocked by two of their own, Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), who chose not to cross that rubicon.

Even with their media and most of Social Media doing their best to cover up or rationalize away the incessant stream of problems generated by Biden and Harris, I can’t help thinking that a whole lot of Democrats feel this way right now. Especially after some recent election results and Hillary’s dire warnings.

Honestly, despite my strongly held belief that showing sympathy to a Democrat is a crime against America, Jill Biden does have a hard, thankless, and horrific job. She has to guide and protect her husband – all the while watching what’s left of his mind soften and slide into dementia.

2017 was a very interesting year, a true watershed in the history of the world, the West, and America. What makes it even odder to me that the one thing that sums up the highlights of 2017 actually took place in 2016, specifically on November 8th.
Yes! This video, though from 2016, sums up the foundation of what was 2017. It was, with the amazing and largely unexpected election of Donald Trump to the US Presidency, a year of America rebirth. Of course, like all births, it was accompanied by blood, sweat, and tears. In this case, the blood, sweat and bitter tears of Liberal and Progressives of all flavors as the weeped and gnashed their teeth over a birth that they unsurprisingly so wanted to abort. 😉
Yes, 2017 was the best of years…for we, the People; it was the worst of years for those others living within the borders of our once and future great nation.

OK, so I’m not compassionate. I and everyone who knows me knows that. But really! While certain sorts rant and rail about the lasting damages caused by Weinstein’s titularly non-consensual sexual predations, it’s his consensual relations that have caused the most and most lasting damage over the many years. 😉
