Reflections From a Murky Pond

Cultural Relativism is a term coined by philosopher and social theorist Alain Locke. It became popular – indeed, axiomatic among certain Liberal intelligentsia – due to the extended works of anthropologist-cum-activist Franz Boas and the large number of students who followed the doctrine of Boasian anthropology and its call for them to use their studies in the cause of social activism rather than maintaining the detachment, objectivity, abstraction, and quantifiability in their work that is the touchstone of true scientific endeavor.

On the plus side, Boaz was correct in maintaining that groups’ behaviors are based upon their culture as opposed the their race. This, however, is more than counterbalanced by his postulate that Right and Wrong only exist within respective cultures and societies and that it is wrong to judge individuals’ actions by any higher and/or more universal standard.

Cultural Relativism – Keeping One’s Head Buried In The Sand

Of course, cultural relativism requires that individuals and societies keep their heads firmly buried in the sand to avoid noticing any of the behaviors of others that might find objectionable or horrific.

Cultural relativists cling to the belief and, following the tenets of Boasian activism, try to force others to accept that all cultures are worthy in their own right and are of equal value and that diversity of cultures, even those with inherently conflicting moral beliefs, is not to be considered in terms of right and wrong or good and bad.

Are there any Americans left who are still waiting for outrage from the Liberals and Progressives over anything that Obama does or fails to do? If so, may I ask you what color the sky is in your world and where you get your medication?

Liberals and Progressives have no only failed to be outraged over Fast and Furious but have consistently defended Obama and his boy, Holder. This is a 180 degree turnabout from their position on the Gunwalker program, which was the Bush administrations better conceived and much better run bust still ultimately failed program that Obama’s Fast and Furious was a poor mockery of.

No Liberal Outrage Over Fast and Furious

The Liberals and Progressives certainly have never shown any real outrage over the Obama Regimes reliance upon aerial drone strikes and other means of state-sanctioned murder – mass murder in some cases – to prosecute the War against Islamic Terrorism, even though these are escalations of policies that, under President Bush, they screamed, and screamed, and screamed about.

The Liberals and Progressives didn’t even flinch when Obama took it to the next step and committed various direct acts of war against sovereign nation, some of them supposedly our allies. This after for years calling President Bush a war criminal and ranting about his supposed illegal wars of aggression.

No Liberal Outrage Over Drones Or State-Sanctioned Murders

And Benghazi? The Liberals and Progressives never even spoke of it. They heard all they need to know when Obama blamed a video for the attack and apologized to the Muslim World for Americans angering them so much that they had to murder our people. Anything to do with the Obama Regime’s murderous failures, shifting lies, and resultant desperate cover-ups they didn’t even hear. The only outrage they felt was over Americans wanting straight answers.

No Liberal Outrage Over Benghazi

Americans just need to wake up and smell the bitter effluence of reality. Liberals and Progressives don’t care and won’t show any outrage over the actions and/or inactions of a Democrat politician, most especially one who chose to be Black such as Obama.

Face it, the boy could get caught red-handed and wet-dicked raping his daughters Malia and Sasha and the Liberals and Progressives wouldn’t complain o’ermuch.

They’d spend their efforts saying it wasn’t “rape rape,” trying to find a way to blame the GOP, and claiming that Americans’ outrage over this hypothetical event was racist and culturally insensitive.

That they chose to reelect Obama even after he had continued or expanded so many policies and programs started under President Bush Jr., who happens to be Republican and White, that they ranted, screamed, and caterwauled about proves this point.

So, if you’re waiting for any form of outrage from the Liberals and Progressives to be aimed at Obama, you’re in for a long, long wait. Hellfire! Even if Obama did the Clinton Shuffle and moved towards the Right – the one thing that would normally invalidate his Blackness and eliminate the Left’s support – the modern crop of Liberals and Progressives would just blame it on the GOP somehow.

The Liberals and Progressives are satisfied by Obama, even if they’re not satisfied with his performance or with some of his saner policy decisions.

Obama – The Fix That They Crave

The boy’s like a drug to them, feeding their monkeys of ethno-guiltism and oikophobia since he hustled onto the national stage in the 2008 elections.

Don’t lump the “Black Community” in with the White, Leftist addicts. They’re not satisfied by or with Obama… But they’ll vote for him anyway since he chose to be Black.

You also can’t lump those who aren’t supporting Obama so much as making war against the GOP. They’re oikophobic as well but Obama does not feed their need.

And, while they whine about hpw Americans have supposedly “othered” Obama and rant about the alleged “niggerization” of him, it just makes them crave him more and more, like when coca is processed into cocaine or opium into heroin.

The Liberals and Progressives are too far down the addiction spiral to ever have any hope of getting clean on their own. It’s definitely time for an intervention. 😉

White Privilege = The Privilege Of Collective Guilt

The above cartoon aptly sums up the extent of the thought of Liberals and their minority tenants when it comes to Whites. Anything a White says other than sum formulation of, “I’m sorry. Have some money,” is met with that same tired response.

That’s all “White Privilege” is – The privilege to expropriate guilt where none exists in order to justify the subsidization of dependent populations.

Despite the near mindless ravings of Liberals and the ofttimes self-serving rhetoric of professional GOP politicians and operatives, America’s Founding Fathers were quite Conservative. They would have had much more in common with Sen. Ron Paul than with most others in government today.

In no manner is this better illustrated in the Founders attitudes towards freedom and individual liberty contrasted against the modern, Liberal view of these things.

Con v. Lib Views Of Freedom

Conservatives today still agree with the founding principles of America – that our freedoms and liberties are divinely granted; that the Constitution merely enumerated them; and that the government is bound not to infringe upon them.

Liberals, on the other hand, do not agree with the founding principles of America. They believe that whatever freedoms liberties that we enjoy today come from the government and that it’s the duty of the government to regulate those freedoms and exact payment for them.

This is one of the most glaring dichotomies between Conservatives in America and the Liberals and Progressives that they are destined to defend America against. How can it be otherwise when the Liberals place the secular government over both we, the People and Heaven itself?
