It's About Protest Season

It's About Protest Season - Better Get The Chains On
It’s About Protest Season – Better Get The Chains On

Remember, Gentlemen, the weather is warming up; so, it’s just about protest season. Better get chains like these on your tires in order to deal with our domestic enemies when they get in your way by illegally blocking our roadways with their “civil disruptions” and “direct actions.”

And, I fairly sure that American car washes will either comp you or give you a big discount on getting your ride clean of their blood and viscera. 😉

</sarcasm>

If you can’t tell – and I’m fairly sure there are a bunch of Dems and likely Dems that can’t – the above was sarcasm. I would never, ever suggest, advocate, or imply that Americans should mount this sort of anti-protest tire chains and run any of the vermin violently and illegally clogging our roadway in support of any of the anti-American groups or individuals out there, e.g., Hamas, #BlackLivesMatter, and/or various Trannies and Queers. It would tear up the roads and that’s both wrong and counterproductive!

Pursuit And Defense

Pursuit And Defense Of Happiness
Pursuit And Defense Of Happiness

Always remember that, as one blessed to be born an American you have the specifically enumerated right to pursue happiness and the inherent, natural right to defend that happiness if you achieve it. 😉

Indeed, the pursuit and defense of happiness are arguably two hallmarks of American culture and civilization. Hence, why the Left is so against both … except for certain favored and protected demographics.

A Grim, Repugnant Truth

A Grim, Repugnant Truth

The NRA’s latest ad, “The Violence Of Lies” is equally grim and repugnant but the state our nation is such that the truth is equally grim and repugnant. Hence, the ad is a needful thing despite it not being what anyone wants to hear, much less think about because it is speaking that grim, repugnant truth.

The Violence Of Lies

They use their media to assassinate real news. They use their schools to teach children that their president is another Hitler. They use their movie stars and singers and comedy shows and award shows to repeat their narrative over and over again. And then they use their ex-president to endorse the resistance.

All to make them march, make them protest, make them scream racism and sexism and xenophobia and homophobia. To smash windows, burn cars, shut down interstates and airports, bully and terrorize the law-abiding — until the only option left is for the police to do their jobs and stop the madness.

And when that happens, they’ll use it as an excuse for their outrage. The only way we stop this, the only way we save our country and our freedom, is to fight this violence of lies with the clenched fist of truth. I’m the National Rifle Association of America, and I’m freedom’s safest place.

All that is stated in “The Violence Of Lies” has happened, continues to happen, and will likely escalate to this very day. Actually, it’s already escalated since this video was filmed in April with a Liberals’ attempted mass assassination of Republican Congressmen.

The Responses Proof Their Truth

The Left’s responses to the ad are the most telling though. Those responses, especially from the rank and file who don’t have to worry much about what they say, prove the NRA’s point.

  • They described it as a call to violence to protect White supremacy.
  • They fixated on the speaker, Dana Loesch being a White woman
  • They likened it to both Nazi and ISIS propaganda
  • They described the NRA as both a hate group and as terrorists

And those were just the general tenor on the Liberals’ and Progressives’ direct responses about the NRA itself. Their more generalized responses against what they saw the ad as endorsing were far more telling. They described it as NRA legitimizing and promoting:

  • An all White America or, failing that, an America where only Whites have rights and power;
  • An America where only “extremist” evangelical Christians are legitimate;
  • An America where the poor, the less able, the disabled, the mentally ill, the “not ambitious enough,” are left to die;
  • An America in which women know their place and follow orders and take what they are given and act happy about it;

Yes, what make the responses to telling and so proving of the truth of the NRA’s ad is that they flat-out screamed that NRA’s target audience was steeped in racism, sexism, xenophobia, and homophobia. And they combined it with references to hate groups, terrorism, and Nazis.

Jus ad bellum

Despite the Left’s rhetoric to contrary, it’s hard to think of this as “sinister propaganda” when so much of what is yelled by swaths of Liberals and Progressives, and the Democrat politicians they vote for, consistently paint so many of us in America as horrifically evil monsters that must be defeated. This is especially true when they combine it with existential threats, e.g., “people will die,” and consistent repetition of how we’re fascists or Nazis.

After all, supposedly these Liberals and Progressives are good people fighting for what is right and for the sake of the “oppressed peoples” of America. All one has to do is think of the good people of Union in 1861 or the American people in WW2 to how that sort of thing can so easily go.

That, not this ad, is a call for violence and civil war. That is declaring that the Liberals and Progressives have Jus ad Bellum. Hence, it’s fair to say that this ad is more of a wake up call than propaganda meant to spur violence.

Be A Victim Or A Racist

Sketchfactor LogoAllison McGuire and Daniel Herrington, two young, White entrepreneurs, co-founded  SketchFactor, which is an iTunes app for locating and avoiding “sketchy” or dangerous areas.

It uses a combination of publicly available data, e.g., crime statistics, and crowd sourcing to tag or flag areas according to various metrics for “sketchiness.”

SketchFactor, like all previous apps for location-based public safety was instantly decried as racist by both Liberals and Progressives and their minority tenants.

Essentially, according to Liberals and Progressives, if you try to actively try to avoid “sketchy” areas of a city – the first and most important step in any self-defense regimen – and you’re White, you’re a racist. Be a potential victim or be a racist; those are the only two choices allowed to you by America’s domestic enemies.

Family Firearm Guide

Equality is often misunderstood. This is true of men and of our tools. While men and their tools may be equal, they are not equally useful for every singular task.

Fortunately, someone provided the internet with a simple infographic detailing the best class of tools to use to defend yourself and your family from different sorts of criminal attack.

Firearm Guide For American Families
The Right Weapon For The Right Threat

It’s a good guide overall – pistols as carry pieces for personal defense while on the move; pump-action shotguns for home defense; and solid, rapid-fire, high-capacity weaponry for use in defending one’s self and family from the criminal depredations of a government gone bad.

I don’t, however, fully agree with it. Personally, while the CAR-15 / M4 platform certainly has its uses, I prefer greater standoff capability and the ability to take a more proactive approach to defending Americans’ liberty, personal freedoms and the 2nd Amendment.

Precision Firepower For We, The People

All of the rifles above are readily available on the civilian market ($1900 – $3200) and all can be found chambered for the .338 Lapua Magnum round (8.60x70mm) which provides the best range, accuracy, and terminal performance of anything this side of the .50 BMG, which is a beast of a round, restricted in some states, and which draws a lot of attention.

At 1000 yards (915m) the .338 has only 137 inches of drop; is still traveling at 1740fps (supersonic); and delivers 1680 ft·lbf of energy to target. Better, trained personnel have made confirmed kills at well over twice this distance – the record being held by British Army CoH Craig Harrison at 2,707 yards (2,475m).

These are the sort of weapons that, in the hands of disciplined and determined Americans, can be used to cull enemy leadership before there is the need for weapons such as the CAR-15 / M4 depicted in the infographic, thus keeping loss of life and destruction of property to a minimum.

Does this mean that I think that Americans should go out right now, purchase and train with these rifles, and start assassinating various politicians, political appointees, and media pundits? No, it does not.

It means that, if one is concerned about the government become tyrannical, one’s first line of defense should be readiness to assassinate the parties specifically culpable for that tyranny and the functional leadership of those who would enforce it. If it ever reaches the horrid point when and where Americans are violently engaged with our own military and police units will be solely because people previously failed to do what was necessary to preempt that eventuality.
