The Gods Made Girls

A brief word of warning – While the song in question is couched in the normal Christian monotheism of America, my commentary is in the framework of my faith, which is generally described as Pagan. If that’s going to be a larger issue for you than the actual meat of the commentary, there’s this thing called the Back Button. 😉

The Gods Made Girls

Not only is RaeLynn aka Racheal Lynn Woodward delectably cute and a fine singer, she’s got the right of things in “God Made Girls.” The Gods made women to complete men and men to complete women.

Maiden, Warrior, Mother, or Crone – whichever Aspect they currently evoke, the Gods made women to make men better than they’d otherwise be. That’s the crux of it that underlies any and all expressions of gender roles in the world.

Why Relationships Work

Kirsten Dunst

Actress Kirsten Dunst spoke her mind about femininity, masculinity, and relations earlier this week in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK.

I feel like the feminine has been a little undervalued. We all have to get our own jobs and make our own money, but staying at home, nurturing, being the mother, cooking – it’s a valuable thing my mum created. And sometimes, you need your knight in shining armour. I’m sorry. You need a man to be a man and a woman to be a woman. That’s why relationships work…

Of course, various and sundry Feminists instantly jumped up to savage her for such an “anti-Feminist” opinion.

The most telling rejoinder to Dunst’s statement of opinion came from Jezebel. Their response was entitled “Kirsten Dunst Thinks Ladies In Relationships Should Wife the Fuck Out.” It’s particularly telling because the title uses “wife” as a tacit pejorative and this aptly and poetically sums up Feminism’s position on relationships.

Feminism’s Gag Orders

Jezebel’s response was just the most overtly telling though. All the various screeds against Kirsten Dunst’s opinions have two things in common: the underlying postulate of relationships being predicated upon a power dynamic that is strictly hierarchical; and the strong desire to gag any woman who doesn’t accept that Feminist postulate.

There Are Similarities

I’ve written before about how men and women are quite different from each in: their basic needs; choosing a mate, or what to wear; and even simple greetings. It not right, proper, or fair to solely focus on the differences between genders.

There are similarities, fundamental similarities, between men and women in how they approach the world…

Eyes Up Here!
Hey, Lady! Eyes Up Here

Yep, both men and women will stop, fixated, and ogle what we desire. 😆 We just have different foci. Yet we’re both doing the same thing, staring “hungrily” at what would bring us pleasure.

A Man’s Focus

Versus

A Woman’s Focus

Chocolate – It’s Cleavage For Women

So really, Ladies and Gentlemen – and those of each gender who don’t deserve those honorifics, we really need to stop ranting at- and insulting each other over exhibiting similar behaviors about different things. We should, while accepting our differences, try to come together over our fundamental similarities.

Come Together

Hot Chocolate – Finding Common Ground

See? That wasn’t so hard – messy, but not hard at all. Even better, it might bring the bisexual and lesbian women into the mix since they might be wired to split the difference between breasts and chocolate. 😆

A New Paradigm (NSFW)

Play's Blue Collar Babes DVD

With the changing face of the American workforce and the breakdown of strict gender roles in employment isn’t it about time for a new paradigm in smut and porn? Isn’t it about time, if not past time, for their to be more eroticism centered on blue collar or working women since we’ve now plenty of them?

Why keep strictly to the old stereotypes and the old imagery when they no longer hold as even remotely close to universally valid or relevant?

Why not sexy women as blue collar workers? The old porn standbys of the plumber, construction worker, repairman, and mechanic can work with women in those roles as well as men, and without much thought needed to modify tableau.

They’re Seriously Working It 😛

Since a recent poll I conducted showed mixed but overall positive responses to truly muscular women – without indicating a bias towards dominatrices – it’s not as if there’s no sexual market for stronger women.

Nobody in the right mind would call me a Feminist – not with what that movement degenerated into – but it does not seem to be a good thing for the porn industry, already not a bastion of societal benefit, to continue to promulgate a set of gender roles that are no longer applicable to society. Doing so only reinforces the idea that women can’t be sexually attractive if they work blue collar jobs previously relegated solely to men.

It’s for a new paradigm to be added to the mix. Prurience is adaptable; the market will bear – and bare – the addition. 😉

Curbing Unemployment

America is still, despite supposed economic gains, dealing with an unemployment rate hovering around 9%. It’s only a matter of time before this becomes truly untenable and society adjusts and becomes willing to entertain more drastic and reactionary measures to improve those deplorable employment figures.

Hie Yourself Back To Yon Kitchen, Wench

Forget the race-baiting by Liberal proponents by illegal immigration; it’s not the immigrant population, illegal or otherwise, that will bear the brunt of these “corrective” measures. It will be American women.

Women comprise 46.8% of the total US labor force – 13.46% above the global average of 40.5%. Therefor, if they can convince or coerce 19.23% of those women to leave the workforce America’s official unemployment numbers would be 0%, though a more realistic goal of getting 12.8% of the currently working women out of the workforce would net America an approximate 3% unemployment which is considered far healthier than 0% and would be easier to achieve.

Even just culling enough female workers to bring America down to the current global average would drop our nation’s unemployment figures down to around 6 – 7%, which is not too far above the the US average (5.65%) since 1948.

What makes this prediction most likely and most dire is that it can be actualized without the conscious effort or machinations of any individual or group. It only requires that people do not actively work against various economic and societal pressures that will achieve this resulting reduction of women in the workforce.
