Alternative Energy

As I’ve said not too long ago, Liberal and Progressive ecotards, especially the Warmists and climatards of today, should be focusing on better sources of renewable energy than solar and/or wind…such as boobs!

Ass – An Alternative Energy Source

But the issue is, as I recently realized, that such a breast-based energy plan would not be 100% efficient because not everyone is into breasts. Therefor, in order to maximized energy production and diversify the world’s energy portfolio, they should also be researching harnessing the power of women’s asses. 😉

Such Power!

Liberal and Progressive ecotards, especially the Warmists and climatards of today, are very much against any and all fossil fuels and very, very much in favor of various and sundry alternative energy source. Of course, these delusional Leftists have little to no understanding of economics or the energy density of fuel sources.

Now, if only we could take more advantage of some truly high energy density renewable and sustainable power sources…

Cleavage – Such Power If Only We Could Harness It

If we truly want renewable, sustainable, ecologically friendly power generation, what we should be researching is how to harness the energy potential of women’s cleavage! The energy women’s tits-to-men’s eyes energy circuit could, if tapped somehow, generate such power as to utterly beggar the imagination. 😉

Really! This should be a no-brainer. We already know the amazing power contained – hopefully barely – within a woman’s decolletage. Also, while some claim it has already been weaponized, it still seems to be the best potential energy source available to Man.

All we have to do is figure out how to harness and transfer the power. Given that we’re getting better and better at applied quantum mechanics, this should be doable – possibly more and more quickly doable even than fusion power.

Unplugged From Fantasy

Obama and/or his “uncoordinated”  Super PACs do love them some green energy and black lies. Their latest afront to Americans and reason is their the recent ad which glibly fosters the impression – they are too nuanced to lie outright – that Obama created 2.7 million jobs in the “green energy” sector of America’s economy.

Obama's Green Energy Fantasy - Shucking & Jiving his tattered way to failure
Damn! They Said The Cord Would Reach To November, 2012

Once Americans are unplugged from the fantasy, however, they’re forced to realize that it is nothing but a fantasy – a pack of lies and misinformation meant to save one singular job, Obama’s.

That 2.7 Million jobs figure that Obama and his die-hard cultists are shopping is, from all appearances, loosely based upon a report by The Brookings Institution. That report bears only vague surface level resemblance to their claims.

The clean economy, which employs some 2.7 million workers, encompasses a significant number of jobs in establishments spread across a diverse group of industries. Though modest in size, the clean economy employs more workers than the fossil fuel industry and bulks larger than bioscience but remains smaller than the IT-producing sectors. Most clean economy jobs reside in mature segments that cover a wide swath of activities including manufacturing and the provision of public services such as wastewater and mass transit. A smaller portion of the clean economy encompasses newer segments that respond to energy-related challenges.

The clean economy grew more slowly in aggregate than the national economy between 2003 and 2010, but newer “cleantech” segments produced explosive job gains and the clean economy outperformed the nation during the recession. Overall, today’s clean economy establishments added half a million jobs between 2003 and 2010, expanding at an annual rate of 3.4 percent. This performance lagged the growth in the national economy, which grew by 4.2 percent annually over the period (if job losses from establishment closings are omitted to make the data comparable). However, this measured growth heavily reflected the fact that many longer-standing companies in the clean economy—especially those involved in housing- and building-related segments—laid off large numbers of workers during the real estate crash of 2007 and 2008, while sectors unrelated to the clean economy (mainly health care) created many more new jobs nationally. At the same time, newer clean economy establishments— especially those in young energy-related segments such as wind energy, solar PV, and smart grid—added jobs at a torrid pace, albeit from small bases.

Working backward from the numbers leading up to the 2003 – 2010 time-frame of the report, only 500,000 “green economy” jobs et al were created during 2003-2010, a small fraction of which were in “green energy.” Since Obama didn’t become POTUS until 2009, that means that only 125,000 “green” jobs were created during his regime, once again only a small fraction of which were in “green energy.”

So, even if Americans give Obama and his cultists the handout of accepting any “green” job for the purposes of the veracity of this campaign ad, that still shows the reality is only about 4.6% of the fantasy that they’re promulgating.

An Ill Wind Blows

failure should be painful and it seemingly is for Obama. There’s an ill wind blowing, both from the from the clean-energy program from last year’s Stimulus and from some of Obama’s erstwhile Democrats in the Senate. It’s carrying the wreak of failure and internal dissent straight into the face of President Obama and his Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner.

It seems that the renewable energy grants included in the Stimulus are stimulating other countries’ economies instead America’s and various Democrats in the Senate are rightfully angered by this.

From Politico:

Democratic Sens. Chuck Schumer of New York, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Jon Tester of Montana announced Wednesday a new initiative to require the “Buy America” provision of the stimulus to all programs, not just the government ones. A study done by the Investigative Reporting Workshop found that 79 percent of the $2 billion in clean-energy grants allocated since Sept. 1, 2009, has gone to foreign wind companies.

“We are demanding the Obama administration suspend this program immediately … [and] indefinitely,” Schumer said. “We are sending a letter to Secretary [Timothy] Geithner asking him to halt all payouts for this program until we in Congress can go back and fix this law.”

The senators highlighted a wind farm project in west Texas, which received stimulus aid and is projected to create 3,000 jobs in China and a tenth as many in the United States.

“Some of us complained about this to the administration back in November when this project was first announced, so it’s not that they don’t know about it, but the Energy Department in their reply said they were powerless to stop it because projects like this are automatically eligible for the grants. That answer is not good enough,” Schumer said. “The goal of the stimulus is to strengthen the American economy, and that means creating jobs here in the U.S. not in China.”

That’s right; 79% of the $2 billion in clean-energy grants allocated through the Stimulus since Sept. 1, 2009, have gone to foreign wind companies. That’s $1.58 billion of the American taxpayers’ money going into the coffers of foreign companies.

It’s shockingly refreshing and somewhat heartening to see at least some of the Democrats in Congress not bowing and scraping to Obama and actually looking out for Americans.

At least it proves that President Obama’s claims that the Stimulus and renewable energy would each create jobs was true, at least in a Rovian sense; just the bulk of them won’t be American jobs.
