Mitigating the Border Crisis

We have a serious and very long-running border crisis at the southern edge of America. It’s a problem that no Administration has been able to – in the case of the Dems, willing to – do anything about. And this is despite 57 year recorded history of Americans not generally being in favor of immigrants at all, much less the situation we have had for the past 16 – 20 years. But all that doesn’t mean we should make efforts at mitigating the border crisis.

Mitigating the Border Crisis

And yes, I think that our mitigation efforts should be centered on their women. After all, even Democrats favor – or, at least, use – the plight of women at our border to badger us into letting just anyone in. I’ve said before and still maintain that walls are needed but those walls need gates.

So, my fellow Americans – and by that I specifically mean My Fellow White Men – we need to be ready and willing to do the right thing and help these Latinas find a place in America. And, Gentlemen, make sure that our mitigating the border crisis is a long-term solution, not just a quick fix. 😉

Walls Need Gates!

Remember That Walls Need Gates, Mr. President

I’m an American and I’m staunchly in favor of controlling immigration and greatly increased border security. I can also see where a wall along the US’ southern border will help with that. At 1,954 miles in length, much of it through remote and harsh terrain, it can’t be successfully guarded without something to channel invaders and provide choke points.

Face it head on with clear eyes and a resolute demeanor; something has to be done about the approximately 500,000 illegal borders crossings from Mexico to America per year.

That being said, to paraphrase or riff upon Pres. Ronald Reagan, “Mr. Trump, build those gates.” Not all of the immigrants, illegal or not, are either bad or problematical. A plethora of these immigrants would be of great benefit America and Americans in so many beautiful ways.

Walls Need Gates

Walls Need Gates

Despite the nonsensical and oikophobic rantings of the Liberals and Progressives and the ungrateful and disloyal screams of many of the Hispanics already inside America’s borders, our country does need dramatically increased border security and most definitely needs a border wall between us and Mexico. But walls need gates and we also do need immigration reform as well.

After all – again, despite and in despite of the nonsensical and oikophobic rantings of the Liberals and Progressives – there isn’t and has never been any reason that compassion and enlightened self-interest cannot be paired. Hence, we shouldn’t be keeping beautiful, nubile Latinas from entering America in search of a better life.

So, Hell yes! Vet them properly and let them in. Let’s turn the Left’s desired genocide on its ear and make into a good thing for America. Really! Just over four out of every 100 marriages (4.3%) in the US is already between a non-Hispanic and a Hispanic – the most common interracial marriage in fact, accounting for 43% of them – and one out of ever four Hispanic marriages in the US are already with non-Hispanics. We might as well work with these facts rather than against them.

If life and politics are going to give America lemons, we should smile and make limonada. 😉

Liberals’ Childish Angst

Liberal Choices of AngstLiberals’ Childish Angst

And the greatest irony is the Liberals and Progressives – ever so fond of infanticide aka abortion – seem to feel, judging by the vitriolic rhetoric, that the underlying issue with the term, “Anchor Babies” is that it dehumanizes the results of the illegal aliens’ gestational tourism.

Hillary’s American Values

Hillary's Mexican VoteHillary’s ideas about what constitutes America’s values seem a bit skewed away from both the normative and the Liberals’ and Progressives’ antithetical counter-values.

Of course Hillary is infamous for her “floating point” values and for “triangulating” them to fit her audience and to what will benefit herself the most at that time.

Still, her campaign’s position on the longstanding term, “anchor babies” is a departure from Hillary’s normally carefully crafted to be meaningless positions and rhetoric.

During a press conference today, Jeb Bush tried to outdo Donald Trump and other Republican presidential candidates by doubling down on the hateful term ‘anchor baby’ when referring to the U.S. born children of immigrants.

It’s a disgrace to see these candidates attack a group of American citizens who not only have the same rights as everybody else in this country but also represent the very values this country was built on.

So, apparently Hillary’s campaign believes that criminally violating a sovereign nation’s borders and breeding within them to ensure that one will not be forcibly ejected are very values this country was built on. That’s a sharp, leftward departure from the traditional American view.

It’s also a broad drift from her Leftist base’s normal position as well since the only things even remotely resembling illegal immigration and the breeding of anchor babies that has ever been condoned or accepted by the American people is the original colonization of America by European immigrants and our later westward expansion, both of which resulted in the destruction of the continents original, indigenous peoples. Last I heard, those Liberals and Progressives were pretty dead-set on stridently reviling those bits of history.

As usual, Hillary’s views of America’s values are her own and don’t match up with the normative stance. At least not when her mouthpiece to the Hispanics, Lorella Praeli – herself an anchor baby – is speaking to a group of Hispanic agitators, most of whom are illegal immigrants, anchor babies, or accessories to illegal immigration.
