Reflections From a Murky Pond

As all Americans know, what is cried out as tolerance by our domestic enemies, the Liberals and Progressives, is a one-way street. Also, as all Americans know, these same domestic enemies cry “tolerance” when they mean “acceptance” and/or “approval” and they’re all for using the force of law to demand it.

Tolerance: A One-Way Road To Hell

What is just not said either enough or with enough force is that the Liberals’ and Progressives’ one-way street of “Tolerance” is the road to Hell and there are, at this point, not many exits left before the Pit.

Liberals and Progressives just love to preach about the absolute need for tolerance. Yet, America’s ranting and raving domestic enemies neither show any understanding of that term or exhibit it towards those who fail to live up to every single argument of their doctrine and dogma.

Crucify Them!

Tolerance is the ability or willingness to allow the existence, occurrence, or practice of something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with, with forbearance. What the Liberals and Progressives seek is endorsement, aid, and normalization of certain things that they have decided are protected traits. They do not seek any form of forbearance; they seek overt and explicit approval of that which normative, American society does not necessarily agree with.

Burn The Heathens, Heretics, and Apostates!

And, as is to be expected, the “tolerance” of our domestic enemies does not extend to “heathens,” “heretics,” or, most especially, “apostates.” The latter bears the worst persecution but Liberals and Progressives demand that all of them profess their auto-da-fé before being nailed to the cross or burned at the stake…All in the name of fostering tolerance of course.

To borrow the catchphrase of their token, let me be clear – there is little if any difference between the Liberals and Progressives within America’s borders and ISIS, the Taliban, or Boko Haram. They may differ in exact beliefs and use somewhat different specific methods but they share a common level and extent of extremism and orthodoxy. When it comes down to it, there’s not a lot of difference between a knife, an AK-47, or an IED and paper terrorism and lawfare. In all cases it is the attempt to destroy those who beliefs are not deemed allowable.

As we all know, intolerance is very important to Liberals and Progressives, both declaiming and deriding the supposed intolerance of normal Americans and developing their special brands of intolerance.

How to Become Gluten Intolerant

What’s most interesting is that certain forms of Liberal and Progressive intolerance seem to be exacerbated or engendered by their level of privilege. In other words, the more well off a Liberal or Progressive is, the more likely they’re going to develop certain forms of faddish intolerance.

Fortunately for these sorts of Liberals and Progressives, JP Sears has thoughtfully provided an instructional video on just how to correctly and properly become intolerant of gluten, the latest craze in intolerance.

NOTE: For those few of you who really and truly suffer from celiac disease or NCGS, this isn’t for- or about you and your pain. This is for- and about those sorts who decided in a Munchausenian fashion to claim some variety of your illness.

Liberals and Progressives wrap themselves in the mantle of tolerance but they’re expression of tolerance is highly selective and doesn’t extend to Americans who disagree with them.

She’s a Perfectly Tolerant Liberal, Isn’t She?

Oh they just love to cry that they’re only “intolerant of intolerance” but this is a sham, a dog-whistle for attacking anyone who holds to anything approaching normative American cultural values and who are among the normative, i.e., demographically dominant culture, White Christians with a reasonably Conservative sociopolitical outlook.

Conversely, their tolerance almost completely covers the actions and beliefs of non-Whites and non-Christians. Those groups can believe, say, and do just about anything they want without the Liberals and Progressives attacking them, e.g., the average Black and Muslim views on homosexuality and genders roles and equality.

It seems that the paramount queer activist group GLAAD who spearheaded the assault on Phil Robertson which led to A&E’s suspension of him aren’t so happy right now. It seems that this group, which specializes in attacking anyone and everyone who isn’t on board with the gay agenda, has been on the receiving end of unprecedented levels of angry backlash from normal Americans over their manufacturing outrage and attacking the popular American television personality because he said homosexuality was a sin.

GLAAD’s Vice President of Communications Rich Ferraro, speaking to The Wrap, seemed neither too glad nor too gay about the people’s response to GLAAD’s actions. 😉

“In the five-and-a-half years I’ve worked at GLAAD, I’ve never received so many violently angry phone calls and social media posts attacking GLAAD for us speaking out against these comments,” the media watchdog organization’s vice president of communications Rich Ferraro told The Wrap.

He said those reactions range from those who simply believe as Robertson believes to those who feel that GLAAD and A&E’s actions limit the reality star’s free speech.

Unsurprisingly, yet ironically, and hysterically, GLAAD’s mouthpiece sound a bit butthurt over Americans’ response to A&E’s suspension of the Christian television personality at GLAAD’s behest.

I guess, however, that the voice of the angry queers is just going to have to learn to bend over and take it. I wouldn’t think, given his obvious and openly proclaimed preferences and proclivities, that this should be too hard for Ferraro.

Hard or not though, it something that Ferraro, GLAAD, and queers in general are going to have to learn. American culture has become, for good or ill, very tolerant of homosexuality. We’re not in the least, however, tolerant of agendists manufacturing outrage, attacking our own, and decrying a negative opinion of homosexual sex as defamation, “hate speech,” or some other form of bigotry.

Addendum / Update: I’m betting that they’re not only not glad but downright sad now. A&E has reversed their suspension of Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson and on Jan 15, will be airing new episodes of the show that include scenes featuring the feisty patriarch.

“There’s no negotiation to have; we’re doing the show,” said an insider close to the situation. “We’ll figure out a solution. It’s just not going to happen overnight. Everybody will take a break for the holidays and regroup afterward. That’s probably the smartest thing for everyone to do. Time heals a lot of wounds.”

That’s going hurt GLAAD’s feelings because it either means that normative American’s outrage beat out GLAAD’s or that the whole suspension was just a publicity mechanism and that A&E just used GLAAD and their following like a cheap rent boy.
