Unreasoning Largess

Some things pull at one’s heartstrings and evoke thoughts and feeling that, at first pass, seem quite good for the state of the society one lives in. Sadly, some of those things are wrong and/or manipulative and go against the underpinnings of reality. Worse, far too often those things which are wrong and/or manipulative become entrenched in the collective psyches of whole demographics of the population.

You don't need a reason to help peopleSupposedly You Don’t Need A Reason To Help People

A case in point is “You Don’t Need A Reason To Help People.” It’s nothing but a call for totally unreasoning largess and it has no basis in fact or human thought and logic processes. People reason and, hence, need reason for any and all actions, though it’s true that many of those reasons are internalized and/or subconscious in nature. Even the insane have and need reasons for doing whatever they do. They’re just not reasons that most of the rest of us have the data to understand.

Reasonable Charity

Some of the various real reason for people helping other specific people or specific groups or classes of people are:

  • Either seeking the blessings of the God(s) or avoiding punishment by their the God(s) through acts of charity;
  • Seeking approval of other people or avoiding disapproval other people through acts of charity;
  • Assuaging feelings of guilt brought upon by segments of their society’s disdain for wealth or material success;
  • Because it feels good to do so, either through feelings of superiority and self-validation or a more general feeling of worth.

Also, in all reasoning cases, the person needs to believe or to convince themselves that the largess they give has some meaning and will have some quantifiable and qualifiable benefit. It’s somewhat rare for normal people to just render aid, assistance, and charity when they know it will do no good – unless there’s a unrelated or tangentially related benefit to themselves for doing so.

Entrenched In Liberalism & Progressivism

The myth of “You Don’t Need A Reason To Help People” is sadly entrenched in the collective psyches of the Liberals and Progressives. It, mostly at an unconscious level, forms one of the underpinning of their dogma and colors and informs a great deal of their agenda.

Liberals and Progressives actively reject the fact that there is always a need for reason for largess. Even more, they reject and quite stridently disdain and denounce the idea that the person needs to believe or to convince themselves that the largess they give has some meaning and will have some quantifiable and qualifiable benefit. They believe that such things are discrimination.

This is a large part of why the Liberals and Progressives so strongly demand that voluntary charity be replaced by largess by fiat. As they believe that there should be no reason for charity or qualifier to how, to whom, or how much largess is granted, any reason applied to such is seen by them, instead, to be reason to withhold such largess.

The greatest irony in this is that these same Liberals and Progressives have no qualms about applying social pressure – approval or disapproval – to goad people into granting such largess, and are the ones who foster feelings of guilt in those of the societies they live within who have achieved wealth or material success.

Sadly, this isn’t really correctable. It can only be ameliorated through educating people in reality. This is the sad effect of something that sounds so good but which is false.

Some Things Don’t Change

Some people, especially the Liberals and Progressives, loves to spout off about how times have changed and the old paradigms are no longer appropriate for America.

Some sorts don't change...
The Monkey’s Remain The Same

Yet times may seem to change but certain sorts and demographics don’t change. The monkeys remain same, dreaming of- and chattering for those free bananas and throwing feces when they don’t get them.

Victory Conditions

The Liberals and Progressives plaguing America, as represented by the Democrat party, have long held that, if at first – or ever – you don’t succeed, it’s not your fault and we need to change the victory conditions. At the same time they hold that, if you did succeed, it wasn’t to your credit and you owe others for your success.

Winners and Losers - Changing the victory conditionsWinners and Losers – Changing The Victory Conditions

So, since 1950 and the concomitant and synergistic rise of the Welfare State and the Civil Rights Movement, they’ve managed to change the losers and winners in society by declaring that the losers are owed success or, at least, government-mandated and government-distributed subsistence at an ever-increasing level – all to be paid for by the “winners” in America.

This has got to change and change swiftly. If it doesn’t, America is doomed. It will fail and drown in the effluvia of the eaters and takers, who have already been allowed to grow to outnumber the makers.

The 2014 midterm elections are fast approaching. We each and all need to do what we can to remove the parasite enablers of the Democrats from office and replace them with lawmakers who will restore some measure of freedom to succeed and enjoy the earned privileges of success to the productive in our nation.

Punishing The Poor

creepy-screamerOne of the common, recurring canards from Liberals, Progressives, their minority tenants that Americans want to “punish the poor” whenever they try to eliminate, curtail, or even restrict various forms of government largess.

This begs the question when did it become punishment to not provide handouts to individuals or groups? At what point did such handouts stop being charity and start being an entitlement?

The answer is, as every American knows, that it never changed. Handouts are charity and the withholding of such largess is not a punishment because nobody is ever entitled to handouts and no man should ever be or feel compelled to provide such to anyone.

Anyone who says differently is just a thug hellbent on theft of Americans wealth. It doesn’t matter if they’re in a hoodie and carrying a cheap 9mm pistol, hipster clothing and carry a placard, or a suit and carrying a briefcase full of legislation; a thug is thug and should be treated as one.

America’s New Economy

There’s a lot of talk about America’s new economy and how we all have to do whatever is necessary to adapt to it.

People who work for a living are being overwhelmed by people who vote for a living
America’s New Economy

These animals’ view of America’s new economy is an economy based upon the productive being enslaved by the worthless and, as every previous attempt of this Keynesian nightmare has shown us, this economic model is doomed to utter failure.

As far as I can see, most of this talk – and all the jabbering spewing out of the maws of Obama and his coterie of vermin – should be rejected by we, the People of the United States of America – rejected by force and with extreme prejudice if needs be.

Already America is in a state where and when for every 1.25 productive citizens there is one resident that is either being supported through welfare or who is employed for the government in some capacity. A 1.25:1 Maker to Eater & Taker ratio is ridiculous, abhorrent to men of good character, and utterly unsustainable.

If America’s new economy is one where people who work for a living are being overwhelmed by people who vote for a living, then it’s time for drastic change starting in DC, working down to the ghettos and slums, and not stopping until America is cleansed, purified, and reborn once again as nation it was created as and always meant to be.
