There is all the difference in the world between treating people equally and attempting to make them equal. While the first is the condition of a free society, the second means as De Tocqueville describes it, ‘a new form of servitude.’

Some people, especially the Liberals and Progressives, loves to spout off about how times have changed and the old paradigms are no longer appropriate for America.
The Monkey’s Remain The Same
Yet times may seem to change but certain sorts and demographics don’t change. The monkeys remain same, dreaming of- and chattering for those free bananas and throwing feces when they don’t get them.

When it comes right down to it, primate behavior is primate behavior. Only the specifics of the stimuli and responses change somewhat.
Sadly Similar In So Many Ways
The one sort of bright side to this, if you’re not a strict Creationist, is that the sad similarities between the Black rioters and looters in Ferguson and elsewhere and the average troop of angry or hungry monkeys is strong evidence in support of Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.

The noisome rabble that comprise the various Occupy “movements” desperately want to be respected and listened to by Americans and to have their demands addressed.
When balked at this, the thin veneer of humanity slips from their faces and they act like the angry monkeys that they truly are.
As is always the case with these sorts, their veneer of humanity is woefully thin. Give them the least provocation, such as not giving them handouts, and they revert to the angry monkeys that they really are.
Coffee cart owner Linda Jenson and hot dog cart operators Letty and Pete Soto said they initially provided free food and drink to demonstrators, but when they stopped, the protesters became violent.
And according to one city councilman, bodily fluids were used in the attacks.
“Both carts have had items stolen, have had their covers vandalized with markings and graffiti, as well as one of the carts had urine and blood splattered on it,” said Councilman Carl DeMaio.
The damages will likely require at least a complete cleaning if not a replacement of the cart covers, DeMaio said.
In addition to the attacks, the vendors also said they recently received death threats.
I sympathize with Ms. Jensen and the Sotos but they really should have already learned not to feed the monkeys. It never ends well for the ones handing out the largess.
As for the creatures trying and failing to look and act like Mankind long enough to get their way – they’re a public health hazard and should be dealt with by local Animal Control. Southern California has sufficient shelters to safely contain them and it won’t cost that much to modify the equipment on-site in order to humanely euthanize them.
