MSM Decides The Truth

One the problems with living in a society that is based upon consensus reality is that agents can and do alter the public censensus in order to make specific agendas the de facto truth.

Media Chooses Truth

One of, if not the, worst offenders in this is the Lamestream Media. For generations they’ve manipulated the public’s collective consciousness in order to shape reality to suit whatever their agendas were at that time. A perfect, current example of the media’s deliberate bias is how they “carefully” presented some controversial remarks that a reporter solicited from Cliven Bundy.

On the left you have the 3:13 minute long, full commentary by Cliven Bundy. On the right you the 1:29 minute long, heavily edited clip that the MSM chose to air and put up for public intake.

The Truth VS. The MSM

Now this doesn’t come as a surprise. The media has long held that is occupies and exalted position, one with the right and responsibility to use their power to shape society. Their painting Cliven Bundy as a horrid racist is just the latest of a long series of lies, misinformation campaigns, and carefully chosen topic to broadcast.

It’s disturbing but it’s also something that the majority of Americans are used to and used to filtering out and compensating for. What’s more disturbing and harder to deal with are the increase in the prevalence and extremity of the Lamestream Media’s bias and the fact that they are no longer shilling just their own agenda. Others are now scripting the news.

Who's Scripting US News?
Who’s Scripting US News?

No, under the Obama Regime the press isn’t exactly a free press any longer. The various handlers and overseers of Obama have had the boy use any and all methods that he could get away to get a leash around the collective necks of the media in order to coerce them into airing the Regime’s messages and only the Regime’s messages.

That’s a sad and scary situation. It was bad enough having to deal with press that was a largely independent enemy of the American people. Having a press that is now little more than the propaganda corps of an enemy regime is far, far worse.

Ministry Of Fairness

The Schwarze ReichThe Federal Communications Commission (FCC), in yet another of their attempts to “back door” a reprise of the Fairness Doctrine, enacted a program which they carefully named the, “Multi-Market Study of Critical Information Needs.” This would allow the FCC to destroy any that didn’t meet the government’s approval.

It was meant to hunt out “station bias” and to ensure that the desires and interests of special interest minority subcultures were being fully met by television news programing. Such aims were to be accomplished through a combination of interrogating station managers, news directors, journalists, television anchors and reporters, and by placing government monitors in stations’ news rooms.

The program was scheduled to begin this spring in the “problematic,” Southern market of Columbia, SC., possibly to influence the coverage of 2014 election campaigns.

Obama Minister
We Want To Ask You About Your Station Bias

But this has been put “on hold” due to the outrage over it expressed by the American people.

To be clear, media owners and journalists will no longer be asked to participate in the Columbia, S.C. pilot study. The pilot will not be undertaken until a new study design is final. Any subsequent market studies conducted by the FCC, if determined necessary, will not seek participation from or include questions for media owners, news directors or reporters.

— FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler

This sounds both reasonably good and like it’s another victory for we, the People over government tyranny. But, while this is an important victory for the First Amendment, it’s only a partial victory in one small battle in the war we must wage to keep the government from controlling all the information we are allowed access to.

Associated Press Assault

Obama bitching, growling, and jabberingThere’s been a lot of flak flying over the Obama Regime’s assault upon Associated Press (AP) and its secret seizure of the telephone records of AP and its reporters, including the reporters’ cellular phone records. AP, with understandable ire, describes this as a massive and unprecedented intrusion into its gathering of news.

Here’s the thing; it’s all bullshit!

Yes, given the boy’s track record, Obama’s use of his favorite “house negro,” Holder’s DoJ to assault AP and investigate their reporters’ sources is an easy target for Americans to verbally fire upon. It’s easy to see this behavior as another prima facie example of Obama’s desire for tyranny and his despite for America’s constitution. That doesn’t mean that this is the right way to approach this particular situation.

By all the accounts that we have, including AP’s own assessment of the Obama Regime’s rationale for the seizure of their telephone records, the DoJ is investigating who leaked sensitive intelligence data to the press. It is likely the result of a May 7, 2012 article that revealed the CIA thwarted a bomb plot planned to originate out of Yemen to avenge the death of former al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, who was killed by US Navy SEALs one year earlier.

This is well within the purview of Executive and is a matter of national security. We have to trace the leaks and take whatever steps are needed to prevent a repeat offense. There is no intrinsic difference between the leak to Associated Press and the Leaks to Wikileaks and I sincerely doubt that there’s a single American who say that any investigation into- or reprisal against Wikileaks and/or its sources was wrong.

Obama and his cabal may well be engaging in this behavior for the wrong reason but their actions are consistent in this instance with the best interests of America. We should remember that surprising fact.

OMFG! A Nearby Rifle

Some deranged or drug-addled freak in San Jose, one Coco Bennett, decided to strip naked near the VTA station and brandished a “samurai” sword at the responding police officers. OK, there’s a naked vermin with a sword and what is the first thing the local CBS affiliate has to say about it?

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) — A man with an assault rifle in his car removed his clothes and brandished a Samurai sword at police in west San Jose for more than two hours before he was arrested while trying to flee, a San Jose police spokesman said.

That’s the mouthpieces of the anti-American Left for you. Some mentally deficient scum get buck naked and threatens the police with a sword saying, “You’re going to have to kill me” and starting a two-hour stand-off with law enforcement and the first thing that the MSM has to say about the whole debacle is that the police recovered an “assault rifle” from his pickup truck. 🙄

Even the patently false title of their article, “Naked Man Confronts San Jose Police With Sword, Assault Rifle” makes it clear that these domestic enemies want people to focus on the nearby “AR-15 style” rifle, even though Bennett didn’t use it or have it in his possession during the altercation.

I truly believe that America would be far better served by our placing “sensible restrictions and prohibitions” on the Free Press than upon firearm ownership. If nothing else, recent elections have proven that the Free Press murders far, far, far more people than all the firearms ever forged have throughout history.

You’re Not Our Audience

Democrat Censorship Is Rampant and PervasiveIt’s seems that the thought police of Obama’s campaign and the Democrats were in full force at the 2012 DNC. As usual, they strove to completely control the message and didn’t let a little things like the 1st Amendment and the requirement for a free press get in their way.

According to sources, the Dems placed restrictions on Radio Row which forbade significant Democrats from being interviewed by any Conservative talk show hosts.

Conservative talk-show hosts who came to Charlotte to interview political figures are furious. For the first time in anyone’s memory, Radio Row the designated set of booths available to visiting talk-show hosts has seen restrictions placed on its use by Team Obama. DNC staffers at Radio Row will book leading Democrats for slots on conservative stations but then cancel the appearances an hour or so before broadcast because you’re not our audience.

Roger Hedgecock, a former mayor of San Diego now hosting a nationally syndicated talk show, decided to pack up and leave Charlotte early because we were blocked from getting any guests that mattered. It was a complete freeze. Larry O’Connor of Breitbart Radio told me, It was the most bizarre act of censorship. These shows paid large fees and spent thousands on equipment setup and they couldn’t do their programs because of interference.

The key point to understand here is not the Campaigner-in-Chief’s, his handlers’ and sycophants, or even the Democrats’ despite for the American press. That trend is established enough to no longer shock the senses, despicable and un-American as it is. What is the key point to understand is that Obama, his cronies, and the Democrat leadership do not consider Americans as their audience. They are not interested in meeting Americans’ needs, desires, views, or opinions. They are only concerned with pandering to those Americans’ domestic enemies.

“Conservative” media outlets crush Liberal ones in audience numbers, which makes perfect sense since Conservatives are the largest (40%) ideological demographic in America, outnumbering Moderates (35%) and Liberals (smallest group at a meager 21%), the latter by 99.5%.

I’m truly tempted to say that this is a false equivalency created by the Left and that there’s no Conservative media, only the American media and the Liberal one. I’m not quite there though.

So, essentially, the Democrats have openly said that the majority of Americans aren’t their audience and, as such, they were not to be allowed access to key Democrats during the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

Remember that in November! Remember it as well when you’re making your next ammunition budget as the war for America’s and our children’s future may not be won by mere words and ballots.
