Reflections From a Murky Pond

“Saving” a tortoise and throwing in it the water where it will drown – yeah, sadly, ecotards are like that all too often. In fact, a certain number of this misborn and very poorly raised idiots are an active and credible threat to the environment they purport to save.

Maybe, just maybe, there’s fewer and less extreme idiots among the “environmental activists” today, but in the many years I worked in the environmental field, I saw or heard of many, many acts of stupidity by ecotards that were at least as bad as throwing a tortoise into deep water in to set it free. Some were downright dangerous to whole population groups. 🙄

Beauty In The CWO Will Be Different But Still Beauty

We might as well get used to the COVID World Order (CWO). Within America’s borders at least there’s just too many people mentally, emotionally, and “morally” invested in the COVID-19 pandemic continuing on for the foreseeable future for there to be any avoiding it. The same sorts who’ve internalized Identity Politics have made the disease a pillar of their identities for there to be any other outcome.

So, let’s get used to our new beauty standards. And hey, they’re not that bad at all. 😉 Though, public indecency and wardrobe malfunctions are going to change in nature if not in either opprobrium or prurient interest.

Should some people be diligent and conscientious about wearing a protective mask during these ongoing days of the coronavirus pandemic? Yes, of course! People with underlying health conditions that make them more susceptible to COVID-19 or who are regularly in close contact with such people should wear PPE when out and about. And, people in locations or who are taking part in activities that would increase their risk of infection, e.g., healthcare workers, should protect themselves.

For far too many people though, their masks are more a statement than a means of disease prevention. Sadly, those masks say a lot about too large of a segment of America’s population, and little to nothing of what those masks say is complimentary to the wearers.

And everyone should pay attention to the fact that the fashion cartels have jumped on this phenomenon. That says even more about the mask devotees.
