Merry Crisis

Well it seems that Congress has gotten together and passed a nice, little class warfare bill in order to avoid the manufactured crisis of the Fiscal Cliff. It was pretty standard fair – eat the rich and keep the troughs full for the eaters and takers, just neither quite so big of a bite out of the American people – for now – and not quite so gourmet slops for worthless.

Merry Crisis and a Happy New Fear
Merry Crisis And A Happy New Fear

So now we’re forced to wonder what the next looming economic catastrophe the Democrats will concoct and instruct their pet media to promulgate. As it won’t be anything to do with entitlement spending or unemployment, two things that are hallmarks of the Democrat party, they may have to get a bit esoteric in their search for our new fear.

But It’ll Be Our Fault?

Obama has been busy blaming the Americans in Congress for the looming “Fiscal Cliff” because they refuse to bend their knees to him and agree that eating the rich is the right and proper solution to this manufactured tax crisis. Then, this was and is to be expected from the every more stereotypical First Black President who made his views on bipartisanship and compromise very clear long ago.

Of course, as is also normal, reality and what drools out of the boy’s pie whole differ greatly:

SEN. HARRY REID (D-NEVADA): We have been negotiating now for 36 hours or thereabouts. We did have conversations last night that ended late in the evening between staffs. This morning, we have been trying to come up with some counteroffer to my friend’s proposal. We have been unable to do that.

I have had a number of conversations with the president, and at this stage we’re not able to make a counteroffer. The Republican leader has told me that — and he’s just said here — that he’s working with the vice president, and he and the vice president, I wish them well.

In the meantime, I will continue to try to come up with something. But at this stage, I don’t have a counteroffer to make. Perhaps as the day wears on, I will be able to. I will say this, I think that the Republican leader has shown absolutely good faith. It’s just that we are apart on some pretty big issues.

The simple translation of Sen. Reid’s statement is that, after repeatedly consulting with Obama, he has nothing to bring to the bargaining table because Obama won’t sign any bill into law that doesn’t include increased punitive taxation of the minority of the residents of America who are actually productive and successful.

Them Rich All Be White Or Oreos Anyway…

But, of course, it’ll all be our fault when a deal isn’t reached and the economy collapses, more under the weight of the hypes the Dems and their MSM toadies generated than any real, near-term fiscal impact. That’s Obama one and only political strength; he’s a Black and his constituency are always ready to suck down and lap up any claims that problems are solely the fault of those Evil, Rich, White Men and a small number of Black race traitors.

He will be responsible for letting a condition develop in this country which will create a climate that will bring seeds up out of the ground with vegetation on the end of them looking like something his people never dreamed of. In 2013 it’s no longer time for the ballot; that season has past after bearing cancerous fruit.

They Don’t Ask

Over the last four years Americans have had to endure an tiresome, incessant tirade from Obama, the various stripes of Leftists, and the jabbering hordes of bottom-feeders and subhuman filth that exist solely because our laws force us to be hosts for their parasitism.

Most of these screeds have centered on how our domestic enemies are just asking the successful and productive to “their fair share.”

Their whole mantra, however, is nothing but a lie and Dr. Thomas Sowell sums it up with his usual clarity:

No previous administration in the entire history of the nation ever finished the year with a trillion dollar deficit. The Obama administration has done so every single year. Yet political and media discussions of the financial crisis have been focused overwhelmingly on how to get more tax revenue to pay for past and future spending.

The very catchwords and phrases used by the Obama administration betray how phony this all is. For example, “We are just asking the rich to pay a little more.”

This is an insult to our intelligence. The government doesn’t “ask” anybody to pay anything. It orders you to pay the taxes they impose and you can go to prison if you don’t.

— Dr. Thomas Sowell

Our domestic enemies are not asking for the well-to-do to pay “their fair share.” They’re asking people to punish anyone who blocks their attempt to punish the upper financial echelons of our country by confiscating and redistributing their wealth to those that the Liberals and Progressives find more deserving.

This is all about the politics of class- and race warfare and nothing whatsoever about economics. Even if all credible economists are wrong – doubtful but not nearly an impossibility – and businesses and jobs aren’t negatively impacted by these tax hikes, the resulting revenue would pay for the federal government’s operations for a mere two weeks.

Keep your eyes open. Travel light but load heavy, and always put another round in the enemy after they’re down. We are at war and need to comport ourselves as such.

Political Theater

With the elections over, it’s time to move on to the next season of political theater in America.

Fiscal Cliff Starring Oblahblah
Fiscal Cliff Starring Oblahblah

The only problem is that first big ticket of the season is The Fiscal Cliff and nobody is sure whether it’s a Black Comedy or a Disaster Flick. The only thing anyone seems sure of is, since it’s starring Obama, it’ll be long on dialog and very short on action.
