Quantifying Harry Reid

Quantifying Harry Reid is quite simple. Using the metrics of: patriotism, honor, faith, respect for the People, respect for the law, or anything that can be used to describe his value to America as a political leader or his value as a man, the answer always comes out the same.

Zero patriotism, zero honor, zero value
Reid – Exactly Zero

No matter how you compute the figures, no matter what measurements and metric you use, Harry Reid’s value is exactly zero. Reid is without value to the American people. The only ones who could ever ascribe a positive value to him are America’s enemies both foreign and domestic.

With the 2014 midterm elections fast approaching we, the People have another chance to restore the US Senate to American control and oust this worthless piece of filth, relegating him to the same status as Nancy Pelosi. We need to make the most of that chance.

VA Reform DOA

Silhouette of Soldier in Front of US FlagYou’d think, given that Obama and his handlers and overseers were told about the malfeasance of VA hospitals over five years ago, something would have been done about it before it turned into such a scandal. Yet, the boy did nothing. Beyond a bit of worthless and empty rhetoric the boy never even spoke of it.

The only people who seem to have tried to initiate some form of Veterans Affairs Reform were the members of the US House of Representatives and every one of their efforts was DOA upon reaching the US Senate. Over the past 18 months the House has passed at least 12 bills that would initiate various forms of reform within the VA but Harry Reid has refused to bring any of them to the Senate floor for consideration, debate, and vote.

In the past 18 months, since I’ve been a member of Congress, we’ve passed, on the House floor, at least 12 reform VA bills. Mandating the VA to fix different things, mandating the VA to report different things, mandating them to fix their website, bipartisan bills that went to the Senate, and they are DOA on the Senate side.

— Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN)

The House’s most recent attempt at reforming the VA system was a simple bill to allow the Secretary of Veterans Affairs – currently Eric Shinseki – to actually fire employees for poor performance or willful malfeasance such manipulating and falsifying data.  It had fairly broad bipartisan support – even Nancy Pelosi endorsed it.  Yet, this bill too was DOA in the Senate.

Think about this the next time – and there will be many next times – some domestic enemy claims that the GOP is obstructionist or a “Do Nothing” party. Think about the fact that Harry Reid and the Senate Democrats have been proven to be unwilling to even consider any and bills, no matter how needful, limited, and simple, that originate in the GOP-led House of Representatives.

But It’ll Be Our Fault?

Obama has been busy blaming the Americans in Congress for the looming “Fiscal Cliff” because they refuse to bend their knees to him and agree that eating the rich is the right and proper solution to this manufactured tax crisis. Then, this was and is to be expected from the every more stereotypical First Black President who made his views on bipartisanship and compromise very clear long ago.

Of course, as is also normal, reality and what drools out of the boy’s pie whole differ greatly:

SEN. HARRY REID (D-NEVADA): We have been negotiating now for 36 hours or thereabouts. We did have conversations last night that ended late in the evening between staffs. This morning, we have been trying to come up with some counteroffer to my friend’s proposal. We have been unable to do that.

I have had a number of conversations with the president, and at this stage we’re not able to make a counteroffer. The Republican leader has told me that — and he’s just said here — that he’s working with the vice president, and he and the vice president, I wish them well.

In the meantime, I will continue to try to come up with something. But at this stage, I don’t have a counteroffer to make. Perhaps as the day wears on, I will be able to. I will say this, I think that the Republican leader has shown absolutely good faith. It’s just that we are apart on some pretty big issues.

The simple translation of Sen. Reid’s statement is that, after repeatedly consulting with Obama, he has nothing to bring to the bargaining table because Obama won’t sign any bill into law that doesn’t include increased punitive taxation of the minority of the residents of America who are actually productive and successful.

Financial Plans - Americans v. Obama
Them Rich All Be White Or Oreos Anyway…

But, of course, it’ll all be our fault when a deal isn’t reached and the economy collapses, more under the weight of the hypes the Dems and their MSM toadies generated than any real, near-term fiscal impact. That’s Obama one and only political strength; he’s a Black and his constituency are always ready to suck down and lap up any claims that problems are solely the fault of those Evil, Rich, White Men and a small number of Black race traitors.

~*~

He will be responsible for letting a condition develop in this country which will create a climate that will bring seeds up out of the ground with vegetation on the end of them looking like something his people never dreamed of. In 2013 it’s no longer time for the ballot; that season has past after bearing cancerous fruit.

Obama’s Wasteful Budget

So, about a week late under the law, Obama has submitted his 2013 budget to Congress. It is, as was expected, nothing but a taxpayer-funded sheaf of empty campaign rhetoric and lies based upon pandering to Leftist populism and class warfare.

Summing Up Obama’s 2013 Budget

Unlike a lot of other people I’m not going to bother dissecting Obama’s budget because I’m not going waste my time pretending that it is anything but more useless jabbering from the Campaigner-in-Chief.

Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid (D-NV) has indicated he does not plan to send Obama’s 2013 budget, or any budget, to the floor for a vote, claiming that the summer’s Budget Control Act includes funding for the next two years of government operation.

We do not need to bring a budget to the floor this year — it’s done, we don’t need to do it.

— Sen. Harry Reid

Really! What’s the point of stretching out Obama’s “free advertising” by treating his “budget proposal” as if it held any meaning? I, for one, do not choose to lend such aid and comfort to America’s enemies.

Of Reid, Jobs & Unicorns

Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) - Socialist, Racist, TraitorI’m well aware that the head of America’s domestic enemies in the Senate, Harry Reid is not fond of the truth. I’m equally well aware of the more pleasant fact that he has little more skill in lying than he does in most other things.

Still, upon occasion, his stupidity – though not his mendacity – is shocking. Such is the case in his recent comparison of job creators with unicorns.

It beggars the mind to expect Americans to take Reid seriously – except as a clear and present danger to America – when he jabbers such inanities that are so easy to refute and debunk.

Millionaire job creators are like unicorns. They’re impossible to find, and they don’t exist.

Only a tiny fraction of people making more than a million dollars, probably less than 1%, are small business owners. And only a tiny fraction of that tiny fraction are traditional job creators.

Most of these businesses are hedge fund managers or wealthy lawyers. They don’t do much hiring and they don’t need tax breaks.

The pathetic Leftists of NPR, ever eager collaborators with any and all of America’s enemies, was quick to attempt to support Reid’s stupidity.

We wanted to talk to business owners who would be affected. So, NPR requested help from numerous Republican congressional offices, including House and Senate leadership. They were unable to produce a single millionaire job creator for us to interview.

So we went to the business groups that have been lobbying against the surtax. Again, three days after putting in a request, none of them was able to find someone for us to talk to.

Of course Americans can expect nothing else from NPR; they’re devoted to being a 5th Column and to the destruction of America.

Really! Creatures like those controlling NPR were some of the few valid reasons for the original provisions in Section 1021 & 1022 of NDAA 2012.

It’s not surprising at all that NPR couldn’t find an American who talk to them, especially an American who is part of the demographic currently targeted for harm by the Liberals. Americans, after all, do not make a habit of speaking with the enemy. And it’s equally unsurprising that NPR would spin such a refusal to speak to them into “supporting evidence” for Reid’s spurious an specious attack.

Golden UnicornIt did not, however, take long for Americans to refute and debunk Reid and NPR. All it took was for a contributor to Forbes, Paul Roderick Gregory, to make a few simple inquiries with the IRS and then to put thing together.

What Professor Gregory discovered is that are, in fact, unicorns prancing around – or, at least, millionaire job creators. 😉

This is simply because it’s delusional to believe that the 236,765 millionaire or above taxpayers, who earn an aggregate taxable income of $623 billion per annum are overwhelmingly hedge fund managers or wealthy lawyers and that they provide few, if any, jobs for their fellow Americans.

I do not know what Harry means when he says “a tiny fraction of a tiny fraction.” If we let 5 percent represent Harry’s “tiny fraction,” we are left with 118 businesses owners who earn a million or more and create jobs. Yes, they are only slightly less rare than unicorns, if Harry is to be believed.

Is it even in the same timezone as logical to believe that only 118 out 236,765 millionaires create jobs? Even doubling it to 10% – tiny is, after all, relative – would only give us 236.

You’d really think that the Senator from Nevada would know not to draw to an inside straight or, at least, how to bluff. Then again, he probably trusts the lamestream media, like NPR, to either actively support his lies or stay quiet about them.
