Reflections From a Murky Pond

It’s taken 4 long, brutal, soul-deadening years, but COVID is finally over. Oh, not the Coronavirus itself; we’ll be having mostly less lethal variants of that for however long Humanity lasts. But, what’s over is the Panicdemic, despite the occasional desperate and increasingly febrile jabberings of certain sorts.

A couple of months ago Biden’s CDC has ended it’s COVID-19 specific recommendations and guidelines, rolling COVID into the general Respiratory Illnesses Guidelines and relaxing their “guidance” on isolation, testing, and vaccine use. And, they did this because it was no longer politically viable for them to keep the panicdemic alive any longer.

COVID Is Finally Over

So, barring some last ditch, desperate attempt to change the voting metrics in the upcoming 2024 elections – somewhat unlikely, but certainly possible – the whole COVID crap is finally over. And, quite sadly, that means the Corona Cuties are pretty much over too, fading into history alongside the debacle that created them.

Ah well. With the start of the pandemic and its surrounding, manufactured panicdemic we had to take the good with the bad, and now with its ending we have to let go of the good along with bad.

Well, according to Creepy Uncle Joe, the pandemic is over. We should all mark the date – September 18, 2022.

The pandemic is over. We still have a problem with COVID. We’re still doing a lotta work on it. It’s– but the pandemic is over. if you notice, no one’s wearing masks. Everybody seems to be in pretty good shape. And so I think it’s changing. And I think this is a perfect example of it.

The Pandemic Is Over! … Or Not!

Yeah. I don’t know what Biden’s failing eyes and failed mind can process, but I’m still seeing a lot of people going around masked. And, a significant number of those who aren’t masked up have their masks pulled down around their necks so that they can cover on a moment’s – or cough’s – notice.

But, as you can clearly see and as I’ve said time and again, that’s not all bad. 😉

Corona QTs – Still Hot, Still Covered In 2022

While it’s true that neither the politicians, the deep state appointees, nor their media outlets are talking that much about COVID-19 anymore, there’s still a lot of Corona QTs out there, and their still hot and still covered by the now ubiquitous masks. But then, I predicted this almost a year ago.

I wasn’t really joking when I posted about our new niqab. Democrats and their media outlets were so successful in spreading the panicdemic that masking is pretty normal now, with a large number of people – most of them I see in NYC – refusing to unmask even now that there’s no mandate.

Remember when that jabbering Kenyan, Obama described half or more of Americans as bitterly clinging to our God and our guns? Well, that was then and this is now. And now, there’s a whole new breed of bitter clingers, ones who are truly deplorable in many, if not all, ways.

These days it’s the Left – specifically, the titularly White Millennials and Gen Zers – who are bitterly clinging to COVID-19 and the Democrat politicians resultant power grab and power trip.

They’re Clinging To Masks Like Safety Blankets

And boy, do they cling to their masks. Even with their own politicians reducing the requirement for mask wearing to suggestions in most places, the Leftists are still wearing them and still vilifying those who are “abiding by what the CDC and those politicians set forth.”

Those masks aren’t just virtual signalling anymore for those sorts. It’s now an identification badge and ingrained in their subculture.

But… As one can see above, that’s not all bad. There are times when one could just think of it as a kink and our new niqabis do look fine… well, what you can see of them. 😉

They’re Clinging To Their Homes Like Hikikomori

And, even more so than their masks, they’re clinging to their homes like Japan’s Hikikomori. They do not want to leave their domicile. They certainly don’t want to go to an office and work like most people used to, though that might have more to do with their sense of entitlement and confusion about capitalism and their places within it than anything else. Like Climate Change and Equity – previously termed Equality – the pandemic may for the majority of them just be another excuse for moving forward with their agenda.

But… I like my new businesswear, and I for damn sure think any and all of the dress shirts I bought for wear to the office look a lot better and serve a higher purpose now than they ever did then. 😆

So, in a case of irony gone wild, we have a whole new crop and version of bitter clingers in 2022, and they bear very little resemblance to the 100s of millions of Americans Obama previously declaimed as being such. But, at least we can be thankful that they do carry with them some varieties of secondary and/or tangential benefits for us all.

Beauty In The CWO Will Be Different But Still Beauty

We might as well get used to the COVID World Order (CWO). Within America’s borders at least there’s just too many people mentally, emotionally, and “morally” invested in the COVID-19 pandemic continuing on for the foreseeable future for there to be any avoiding it. The same sorts who’ve internalized Identity Politics have made the disease a pillar of their identities for there to be any other outcome.

So, let’s get used to our new beauty standards. And hey, they’re not that bad at all. 😉 Though, public indecency and wardrobe malfunctions are going to change in nature if not in either opprobrium or prurient interest.
