There are persons who constantly clamor. They complain of oppression, speculation, and pernicious influence of wealth. They cry out loudly against all banks and corporations, and a means by which small capitalists become united in order to produce important and beneficial results. They carry on mad hostility against all established institutions. They would choke the fountain of industry and dry all streams.

Asian beauty standards are somewhat similar to Western beauty standards, but seem more narrowly defined and rigid than what is “required” in the West.” Most Asian cultures require: very pale skin; a heart-shaped face with a narrow chin; double eyelids; a high-bridged, slender nose; mid-sized-to-large breasts. a slim figure with no visible muscle tone; and long, straight hair.
Hehe… I’m not going to trouble myself to lie; I think this is an attractive beauty standard, though I’m not overly sold on the slim with no muscle tone part. I do prefer women who are bit more “fit” and/or “robust.” But, it’s still better than the Eurocentric, now largely deprecated – and possibly soon to be illegal, western beauty standard.

Yeah, there’s a lot of issues with what we call AI – some of them even real as opposed to just race-baiting rantings – and those extend deeply into the field of art. And again yeah, I’m one of those who’ve been generally against any thought of AI art’s worthiness, value, or even acceptability.
But, now I’m rethinking AI art’s worthiness and that may be in part because of AI’s “bias.” I mean, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with Scarlett Johansson’s actual figure; she’s a beautiful and stunning woman. But, an AI’s depiction of her as a fertile, soft-bodied beauty does make me rethink the value of AI-generated art. 😉
Think upon it. Whatever bias AI has is largely due to organic heuristics. In other words, AIs largely build their baselines through harvesting data from the internet. Hence, this depiction of Scarlett Johansson indicates that the zeitgeist is not inherently focused on what the weight-loss and fashion cartels want us to be attracted to insofar as women’s forms are concerned.

Let me be clear. Desis are beautiful women. The babes of the Indian subcontinent and some of the surrounding regions are truly delightful to behold (and hold too 😉 )
But, Desi babes aren’t just beautiful in and of themselves. They’re beautiful, if currently under-recognized, occurrence for the wold as a whole because they prove the issue of most of the rest of the world’s cultures’ beauty standards.
All of them fine women in this post are prominent models and actresses in India and the surrounding areas that make up Bollywood’s market. But, unlike many areas, these women, essentially making a fine living at least partially due to their looks, are not all of the same mold and do seem to have to starve themselves for that success. Also, some of them are quite older than is the norm for sex symbols in other countries.
Yeah, a longer career time and getting to have a far healthier body while being acclaimed as being the most eye-pleasing that they’re people have to offer is exactly the sort of true beauty that Desis bring to the table.
NOTE: Bollywood and India in general aren’t without their beauty issues. They, like many Eastern peoples, do have an unhealthy desire to be gori (light-skinned), and many of their women do feel the need to use dangerous skin-lightening chemicals to achieve this look.

Once again it’s Cyber Monday, the tech industry’s and the online retailers’ response and/or counter to Black Friday. So too, once again it’s time for Reflections From A Murky Pond to showcase some fine geek girls – 45 of them this year. 😀
This year, however, along with presenting a much larger gallery of Cyber Monday geek girls, I’m going to wax a little sociological. Geek Girls are a great benefit to Western Society. Like Velmas in cosplay, they reject certain norms for both appropriate gender-based activities – which were never truly accurate – and beauty/fashion standards.
Also, the simple fact that there is a market for Geek Girls, both real and fabricated for film, shows a broadening of standards for men. This is especially true of the latter, fabricated or “professional” Geek Girls. It’s a fine thing that geeks/nerds/tech-heads are now considered a valid market segment for prurience/pornography and that the successful model for them is one with similar interests as opposed to just being “hot.”

As we’re coming up upon bikini season her in the Northern Hemisphere, and this will be the 1st time in far too long when people can go to the beach, I’ve decided to reiterate my advice about women’s bodies and bikinis.
I am, as are most people, that “society” has decreed that a Bikini Body is one that is considered attractive enough to be seen on a beach in a two-piece swimsuit. This same “society” has defined the requirements for “attractive enough” to be having: a thin waist, rounded-but-not-too-round butt, full-but-not-too-large breasts, long legs, and be slender overall but not “too muscular.” Also, your body should supposedly have no cellulite, no body hair, no stretch marks, and no blemishes.
Firstly, I do not know who this “society” is, since these rules don’t match and/or are far to restrictive and exclusive to represent what men find attractive in a woman’s body or who we want to see in a bikini. Secondly, fuck this so-called society!
Ladies, if you’ve got a body that matches or mostly matches the “accepted” Bikini Body, this is a no-brainer. Strap one one and hit the beach instead of obsessing over small “flaws” that nobody but you, some envy-based haters, and the incels are going to even notice.
Got A Muscled Hardbody? That’s Also Pretty Much A No-Brainer
So, you’ve worked hard and built yourself a well-muscled hardbody. This to is or should be a no-brainer. Strap yourself into a bikini had hit the beach. Because, let’s face it, the naysayers and gatekeepers demand that a Bikini Body shouldn’t be “too muscular” is utter and complete nonsense. The majority of us find your bodies quite attractive.
Got A Soft, Phat Body? Get Into A Bikini And Get To The Beach
OK, so, you’ve got a phat, soft body. So what? Those saying that you’ve no business wearing a bikini – or even being on a beach at all in some of their cases – have no more power or authority than you give them. Remember that your body is also called curvy, voluptuous, fertile, and/or sinful, and has been THE beauty standard for the majority of Man’s history. So, slide into a bikini and rock the beach! But be ready for at least a bit more attention than you’ve been conditioned to expect. 😉
Got A Flat-Chested Body? Get In A Bikini And Get To The Beach
Alright; you may or may be quite slender, but your concern is that you’ve small breasts. You even be essentially flat-chested. Just slide on an appropriately downsized bikini and enjoy the beach, because I really don’t understand the problem, though I accept that it somehow is one.
Got An Average Body? Slide On A Bikini And Hit The Beach
Finally, if you’re like the majority of women – one of what I estimate as 2.7 billion women across globe – with an “average” body, one that doesn’t fit the beauty magisterium’s stringent requirements or which fits into any of the above categories, buy a bikini if you don’t own one, put it on, and go to the beach. You are the norm. You are the expectation. All your supposed flaws do is make you seem more approachable and/or attainable.
~*~
In other, fewer words – far, far too few for a blog post – ignore the sorts who’ve mandated rules for wearing bikinis, wear one if you wish and go to the beach no matter which sort of body you have.
