Reflections From a Murky Pond

All cultures strive to instill a sense of their values and mores in the hearts and minds of their children. One of the ways of doing this is through children’s television shows such as Sesame Street.

Of course the style and content varies a great deal depending upon the culture involved.

Some would say that this comic image is in poor taste. Others, Americans for example, would probably find it hilarious. Many of the latter would find it even more hilarious were it to really happen.

For myself, I think it’s pretty funny as an image and as an idea. It’d make a great reality TV show. We could just drop members of opposing groups in cells together, let them “discuss their differences,” and broadcast the ensuing hilarity for America’s enjoyment. 😉

It’d be like the WWE cage matches, but without the oddly and disturbingly transsexual costumes.

In reality President Obama would never publicly makes such a recommendation as this; he’s always been far too proud to think that his words can’t overcome facts. He or his attack dog, Rahm Emanuel, probably should have though. 😉

Obama – Planning The Next Warmist Gathering

Yeah, having some of the coldest weather in recorded history and a blizzard hamper the Warmists’ Conference of the Parties (COP 15) didn’t bode well for public acceptance of their agenda.

That probably has something to do with why the sixteenth Conference of the Parties (COP) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is to b held in balmy Mexico this year. 😉

If you’re an American man of a certain age just admit that you’ve got an Inner Dork – especially when comes to Star Wars, Jedis, and lightsabres. Hellfire, even the ever campaigning President Obama has one, and he seems less than ashamed of it.

Obama-wan Keynes-nobi will have his fantasies though. The rest of us – at least the American people – would just be better off if he kept them confined to the White House lawn 😉

Chinese nationalism and collectivism is a wonder of the world – not a good and glorious wonder, but a wonder-none-the-less. China’s hive mind of collectivism under their Communist regime might not be quite so pervasive as they would wish the Civilized World to believe though. 😉

I Love China…Or Else.

Of course it’s easy for the Evil Old Men in Beijing to coerce their population into at least mouthing harmony with the regime’s agenda and ant-like collectivism. When the “or else” in question is having your vital organs harvested by the State, it’s amazing how tractable people become.
