Reflections From a Murky Pond

Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE), a re-branded cell of ACORN, is responsible for hiring many of the protestors that incited the feral violence and insurrection of the Blacks in Ferguson. In a delightfully ironic twist, these same agents provocateurs are now protesting MORE because they didn’t get their paychecks.

FrontPage Magazine reports that MORE  had contracted to pay the protesters $5,000 / month to demonstrate in Ferguson but has failed to #CutTheCheck.

The protests of MORE seem peaceful – so far – but a bit feisty. That, of course, has been proven to be able to change on a moment’s notice however, with violence always a credible threat whenever Blacks protest anything – especially if Whites are on the receiving end.

Ah Schadenfreude. It warms the cockles of my cold heart. 😉

ACORN has decided to begin the process of dissolving it’s national hierarchy. An official who is close to the group claims that the numerous state and local-chapters are beginning split off from national group. These newly “autonomous” groups will re-brand themselves under one or more different names, charters, and corporate filings within the stats that they will conduct their operations within.

The embattled liberal group ACORN is in the process of dissolving its national structure, with state and local-chapters splitting off from the underfunded, controversial national group, an official close to the group confirmed.

“ACORN has dissolved as a national structure of state organizations,” said a senior official close to the group, who declined to be identified by name because of the fierce conservative attacks on the group that began when a conservative filmmaker caught some staffers of its tax advisory arms on tape appearing to offer advice on incorporating a prostitution business.

The videos proved a rallying point for conservatives who had long accused the group of fomenting voting fraud. Though the videos did not produce criminal charges, they appear to have been fatal to the national organization.

“Consistent with what the internal recommendations have been, each of the states are developing plans for reconstitution independence and self-sufficiency,” said the official, citing ACORN’s “diminished resources, damage to the brand, unprecedented attacks.”

The new organizations, he said “will be constituted under new banners and new bylaws and new governance,” he said, consistent with the recommendations of an outside panel.

Much of the group’s strength lay in its local chapters in places like New York, which appear to be continuing to operate as normal. New York’s City Hall News reported today that the local group there had re-emerged under the name “New York Communities for Change.”

At first read this definitely seems to be a great victory for the American people. Anytime a nationwide criminal, racist, thuggish, and anti-American organization is broken by the will and efforts of we, the People, the first instinct is to rejoice in our victory, to celebrate it, and to move on to the next challenge facing us.

Americans must not do that this time!

Yes, we have exposed the plethora of ever devolving and ever more disgusting crime, corruption, and sickening behavior that ACORN commits, endorses, and even revels in. The results of that exposure has been: a long series of criminal charges being filed against ACORN, their loss of sources of funding from the private sector, and the loss of much of their previous influence over Congress. This has caused the long overdue collapse of ACORN’s national structure.

ACORN is still ACORN, even under new aliases and a decentralized organizational model. They are still villains as they have always been and they will not change their course or ways.  All that has happened is that ACORN, in response to being exposed and attacked, has adopted a new model of business, one with a long history of success for those who operate in aggression against a larger body.

They have broken apart into separate cells, each officially autonomous and with only limited traceable communications with each other and/or knowledge of each others’ whereabouts and activities.  Such a move on their part will make it easier for ACORN to continue their evil since make it far harder for Americans to curtail their operations and to prevent them from receiving both private and public funding. Even if and when a group is caught, the other groups will be untouchable by the law due to their ability to maintain plausible deniability.

This decentralized network of cells worked for the Mafia, the French Resistance in WW2, and continues to this day to work for terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

No – While America has won a victory, it was only a victory in a single hard-fought battle. Our war is far from over and, if we are are to prevent ACORN from winning in the end, we must remain ever vigilant and ever willing to take whatever steps are needed to wreak complete, utter, and final destruction upon ACORN, its membership, and its supporters.

The ranting Liberals and the wailing and jabbering minorities who serve as their political sharecroppers are ever-eager to shout that any problem that Americans have with President Obama and his agenda is based solely or largely upon racism – a term that they cannot even properly define. These enemies of America are, of course, wrong in the vast majority of instances. Very little of the opposition to America’s First Black President is based upon the race he identifies as being part of.

The vast bulk of the opposition to President Obama is that the majority of Americans – including a growing number of those duped into voting for him and now suffering well-deserved “buyer’s remorse” – is actually an opposition to his Leftist agenda that places the needs of his supporters, the labor union thugs, over those of Americans.

In a very sense it’s not that President Obama is Black; it’s that he’s Purple, SEIU Purple.

The Liberals and their minority tenants, with active and overt collusion of much of the MSM, elected an operative and organizer for SEIU and ACORN to the office of POTUS, and that’s exactly what was inflicted upon America – a hate-filled, filthy organizer for SEIU and ACORN, who has put their pernicious, destructive, anti-American, and vile agenda above the needs of the entire nation that he has been granted titular leadership of.

Yes, Americans are angered by President Obama’s union-driven attempt at a second Reconstruction of the United States. Since Americans would be equally outraged if a White POTUS did this, they’re not racists; they’re patriots seeking a way to end a threat to their nation.

Just about everyone knows that President Obama was, back in the 1980’s, one of the myrmidons of the criminal organization, Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and that they in turn later used any and all methods at their disposal to ensure his installation as a US Senator and then President.

It should not be a shock to anyone that President Obama would continue to support ACORN.

However, serving chocolate ACORN cookies at the December7, 2009, White House Christmas party might have been going a bit too far given the level of partisan controversy surrounding whether or not to protect America from ACORN by curtailing their use of American’s tax dollars to further their evil pursuits.

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) Doesn’t Find ACORN Cookie Very Sweet

Rep. Steve King (R-IA), who has been leading America’s defense against ACORN, was certainly less than totally pleased by being served a chocolate ACORN cookie and a White House function. The Congressman didn’t expect to “see such stark symbolism” being shown at that sort of event.

😆 The pun is very much intended. But with a bit more seriousness, who is to blame for the Cookie Monster? Who chose to either show solidarity with ACORN or didn’t recognize that a cookie in the shape of an acorn would taken as a sign of such solidarity? Is Obama to blame?

If one is to blame President Barack Obama for the ACORN cookie, one would have to believe that the President of the United States got personally involved in choosing the pastries and confections served at the 2009 White House Christmas party. Since President Obama is more than a little busy accepting farcical foreign awards and maintaining his 2012 Presidential campaign, I find the idea that he personally chose or approved the party’s cookie selection doubtful in the extreme.

No; if one is looking to blame an Obama for the ACORN cookie, one must look not to the President but to the distaff, First Lady Michelle Obama.  Assuming the Michelle Obama is fulfilling the core duties of the First Lady, she would have been the Obama would have been likely to have chosen or approved the oddly controversial cookie.

The position of the First Lady is not an elected one, carries no official duties, and receives no salary. Nonetheless, first ladies have held a highly visible position in US government. The role of the first lady has evolved over the centuries. She is, first and foremost, the hostess of the White House. She organizes and attends official ceremonies and functions of state either along with, or in place of, the President.

Would the First Lady, Michelle Obama deliberately choose or approve of such a “stark symbolism” of continued support for her husband’s old cronies? It probable that she would. ACORN’s racial demographic and racist agenda match up closer to Michelle Obama’s public statements than they do Barack Obama’s. However, would isn’t did and I find it rather doubtful, with the size of the current First Lady’s retinue, that Michelle Obama got that personally involved in planning the function.

Of course then we’d have to ask if there was a racist  message contained in the fact that it was a chocolate cookie. That sounds like a rough and largely pointless road to plow to me.

Most likely the ACORN cookie is actually just an acorn cookie and was chosen – I’m guessing among other shapes and types offered – by some White House baker who has as much political agenda and/or savvy as one might expect such a person to have, i.e.,  little to none.

It’s A Fucking Cookie!

Is it plausible that someone within President Obama’s administration used a chocolate cookie shaped like a stylized acorn as a “coded message” or “dog-whistle” for their continued support of the criminal organization, ACORN? Certainly it’s plausible; Obama himself, along with his Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs and his Senior Advisor for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, Valerie Jarrett are all very well-schooled in such techniques and tactics.

Indeed, it’s possible that this was even more subtle than a case of “dog-whistle” politics. The chocolate ACORN cookie could have been an attempt at psychological engineering and manipulation by providing Senators and Congressmen a positive sensory experience involving the ACORN logo during the current controversy surrounding the group.

Both scenarios are respectively plausible and possible – but does anyone who is not oversensitized to the issue of ACORN really believe either of these ideas is what actually happened?

For Cernunnos’ sake! We’ve created “Beergate” and now we’ve found a “Cookie Monster.” Keep your hands off my baked goods, you damned, dirty politicians!.

President Obama’s old employer, ACORN is finally reaping the just “rewards” for their heinous, criminal, racist, and anti-American actions and beliefs. Americans have finally awakened to these filthy vermin’s evil and have, with great effort, forced the government to take at least some action against ACORN.

It’s long past time that this happened!

ACORN, who now wishes to be called COI, was going to be – most likely to the detriment of America – part of the 2010 Census. Thankfully, in wake of the plethora of ever devolving and ever more disgusting crime, corruption, and sickening behavior from ACORN, that is no longer the case. The US Census Bureau has cut them off!

Over the last several months, through ongoing communication with our regional offices, it is clear that ACORN’s affiliation with the 2010 Census promotion has caused sufficient concern in the general public, has indeed become a distraction from our mission, and may even become a discouragement to public cooperation, negatively impacting 2010 Census efforts.

Unfortunately, we no longer have confidence that our national partnership agreement is being effectively managed through your many local offices. For the reasons stated, we therefore have decided to terminate the partnership

Even better, the US Senate has voted 83-7 to prohibit the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) from granting any further funds to the supposed “community organization.”

With so much in the air about the need for bipartisanship, I’m very glad my colleagues rose above partisan differences to say ‘no’ to sending more tax dollars to ACORN-whose employees have multiple convictions of undermining our democratic process, our laws, and our good faith.

Yes, this was in fact a bipartisan effort with only six Democrats and one Independent voting in favor of continuing to grant ACORN federal funding of any sort.

Various American lawmakers are also calling for further investigations into ACORN’s criminal practices and are calling for a review of ACORN’s 503(c) non-profit status. How far this will go and how many gains America can make against ACORN is unclear. Democrats control both houses of Congress and therefor control every committee. Most problematical is that the House Judiciary Committee is chaired by Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) who has already been ordered by the Liberals not to investigate ACORN. It’s unlikely that he’ll now disobey them.

There is also the problem that ACORN’s organizational structure makes it very difficult for the law to fully exact justice and retribution upon these creatures. ACORN and it’s various front groups and subsidiaries are broken out into numerous cells, each operating semi-independently and only having limited and strictly sanitized communication with each other. Furthermore they each operate under broadly worded mandates and have even more limited and strictly sanitized communication with their parent organization.

This is a sadly effective organizational structure for groups like ACORN and one that American’s have become all too familiar with in recent years. 🙁

Please remember that the government can only do so much, especially the federal government. With the Liberals in control of it, this is even more true than it would be otherwise since they’re likely wroth to do much against President Obama’s “pet” organizers who did everything that they could to get him installed as POTUS.

It will devolve to we, the People, to carry the war to ACORN’s doors. If Americans are to rid themselves of this scourge then we must each do our part to ensure that ACORN in all its forms, its members, its adherents, and its supporters are destroyed and removed from presence and influence in the public and/or political sphere.
