Fun Times Are Coming

Fun Times Are Coming
Fun Times Are Coming

Between what the Dems poisoning the government are doing and what I seeing, hearing, and reading on the webs – normal and dark – I’m pretty sure some “fun times” are coming. Well, not so fun for the ATF, FBI and other “alphabet bois and gurls” who first encounter “creative resistance” from American citizen patriots. But hey! I’m Southern. The sarcastic scenario above would just be a different sort of pig roast. 😆

I’ve got to admit though, there’s a part of me that would laugh my ass off watching some gun-grabbing, ATF thugs getting literally lit up like this. It’d be a true, “Fucked around and found out moment.” Fortunately or not, there’s a larger part of me that very much doesn’t want things to come to this.

Tread If You Dare

Tread If You Dare
Tread If You Dare

There comes a point when you just have to accept things and let personal responsibility rule the day. Past certain tipping points it’s no longer useful to keep saying, “Don’t Tread On Me!” You just have to accept that some people won’t heed such warning and that you and yours must be the consequence the of their action.

Do I think we’re at that point? No, not in an overall sense. We’re likely at or past it in certain more localized contexts though, and it’s also possible – not likely, but possible – that a few well-placed object lessons on the consequences a “misstep” will engender might save lives in the long run.

Gun-Grabbing Hypocrisy

Molon Labe - ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ - μολὼν λαβέ - Come and Take ThemThe penultimate hypocrisy spewing from the deranged maws of the most notable and high profile of the gun-grabbers is that they themselves tend to be both well-armed and protected, often at Americans’ expense, by armed men and women.

Molon Labe

μολὼν λαβέ, pronounced moˈLON laˈVE, and sometimes written in the modern age as ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ or Molon Labe is a truly classical and laconic expression of defiance reportedly spoken by Sparta’s King Leonidas I in response to to Xerxes I of Persia’s demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae. It means simply, “Come and take them!”

Molon Labe - ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ - μολὼν λαβέ - Come and Take Them
Molon Labe – ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ – μολὼν λαβέ – Come And Take Them

No matter the orthography, the sentiment is clear and is as true, right, and applicable in the America of 2013 as it was in the Greece of 480 BC. 2493 years don’t change anything of meaning.

The same “offer” is being made to Americans today. Our lives in exchange for our ability to defend both those lives and the liberties that make those lives the lives of free men and women. And the same response must be given to our modern day Xerxes, Obama and to his coterie of Liberal and Progressive gun-grabbers.

Come and take them - Molon Labe – ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ – μολὼν λαβέ Come And Take Them…If You Can

We, the People, the true-born sons and daughters of America, have not rendered offerings of earth and water to our domestic enemies and we are not subject to- or subservient to them.
