Poverty can be alleviated or reduced, and in the Western world in the last two centuries it has been almost miraculously alleviated and reduced; but poverty is ultimately individual, and individual poverty can no more be “abolished†than disease or death can be abolished.

With so much of our workforce now working from home, we’ve “had to” come up with a whole new series of emojis to reflect this new paradigm. 😉
True, most emoji use is by Millenials and Gen Z’ers, but this makes sense in this context because they’re the ones most threatened by even the thought of returning to an actual workplace. 😉

I can’t say that America is suffering from and through its worst generation gap. That would, IMHO, be the cap in outlook, beliefs, and patriotism between the Silent Generation and the Baby Boomers (Hippies). I can say, however, that the gap between the Millennials (Gen Y) and a significant subset of Generation Z and all former generations of Americans is both disgusting and profound.
But yeah! Greta Thunberg’s generation is going to start a revolution? Not very likely unless it can function and make an impact via social media and #Hashtaggery alone.

People! Raise your children correctly. Raise them with an awareness of the ancient evils that stalk the dark, chthonic recesses of the world… and our CD cases. Raise them to properly fear the eldritch horrors that we, after many losses to madness and damnation, finally sequestered away.
He waits, dreaming dreams of madness and the rending of the souls of Man. Do not be a fool! Teach your children to never awaken the ancient, eldritch horror that we locked away behind 32- and 64 bit wards.

The most fundamental and lasting lessons a child learns are those which were never deliberately taught them or added to a curriculum. That’s why teaching weakness is such a grave sin against them and our nation.
And that’s what our public school systems are doing, whether they intend to do so or not. While the pic shown above is more than a little “anvilicious,” and I certainly don’t advocate keeping schools open when it’s actually dangerous to try to reach them, it does show the degeneration of the system into cowardice and weakness.
What the children actually learn is that any form of hardship and any form of risk is firm ground for not trying. They learn to expect things to be easy and to not attempt that which is hard or uncomfortable. They learn to be weak.
Why do you think the Millennials have turned out so bad?

A little Halloween hope and horror. Hope for Americans and our nation’s future, but horror for our domestic enemies who would see Millennials supporting President Trump as the rankest of tragedies.
