Reflections From a Murky Pond

Schadenfreude is arguably petty but I’m honest enough with myself to know that I enjoy it. I especially enjoy it when the situation that engenders it is and was so easily predictable, such as the Black protests and proto-riots at the University of Missouri and other campuses where the Blacks have risen up and claimed oppression, victimhood, and a violation of the “Safe Spaces.”

How Did This Campus Political Correctness Get So Far Out Of Hand?

After decades of the teachers and administrators of America’s colleges and universities feeding the monkeys on a steady diet of ethnoguiltism, victimology, and manufactured outrage and angst against Whites and especially “White Authority” they really shouldn’t be shocked that the Blacks and the Liberal and Progressive Millennials that have been pandering to- and enabling them turned around and bit those very same hands that fed them.

In a very real sense these schools are reaping exactly what they’ve sown. And, if they have created a climate which brought seeds up out of the ground with vegetation on the end of them looking like something they never dreamed of, that is wholly and solely their own fault.

Let me be blunt. We here time, and time, and time again been subject to both the Blacks’ and their Liberal and Progressive enablers’ nigh on incessant ravings about the supposed “White Privilege” that somehow does damage to America.

Let us instead – for the sake of honest and fair representation – look at Black Privilege, i.e., those privileges garnered by the Blacks without any consideration for their merits or lack thereof.

Black Privilege

• Black Privilege is being able to take pride in your race without fear of persecution.
• Black Privilege is when people assume you we poor because of racism, not because you’re lazy or unmotivated.
• Black Privilege is being able to declare with impunity that someone is “not Black enough” based upon their dialect, deportment, behavior, or beliefs.
• Black Privilege is being wealthy without people assuming your wealth was all handed to you or that you exploited others to obtain that wealth.
• Black Privilege is being able to commit violent crimes against another race without people assuming you are racist.
• Black Privilege is being given “affirmative action” which provides advantages in jobs and colleges based on your skin tone.
• Black Privilege is having the media cover up your race in the event of a black flash mob or gruesome murder.
• Black Privilege is being able to make insensitive comments about other races and not being called out on it.
• Black Privilege is when people assume that the police pulled you over because of racism.
• Black Privilege is having the media ignore black on black crime while blaming white people for not valuing black lives.
• Black Privilege is being able to blame your shortcoming on racism.
• Black Privilege is when people consider you to be superior at sports or “better in bed” without it being racist.
• Black Privilege is not having to be fearful of offending minorities.
• Black Privilege is having the establishment lie to cover up problems in your community or protect you from criticism.
• Black Privilege is when you can be over-represented in a certain field without people trying to amend it.
• Black Privilege is having the government pander to your interests in order to “get the Black vote”
• Black Privilege is being a thug, trying to kill a police officer in the course of him doing his job, and then being made out to be some sort of hero.
• Black Privilege is looting and stealing in response to a perceived injustice and not have the police be able to do anything about it.
• Black Privilege is having so-called black ministers promote racism and condone acts of violence and the liberal media refuses to honestly report these facts.

Let us then sum it up, based upon the above-cited specific privileges. Black Privilege is specifically the privilege of being excused for one’s wrongdoings and failures, real or imagined, solely based upon being of the same race as those who were long ago sold to Americans as chattel.

America, as a society, has fallen into the trap of drastically lowered expectations. We make heroes out those who merely do what should be expected of them and go to great lengths lauding what is normal or, at least, what should be considered the normal, baseline behavior for ourselves and our fellow citizens.

We praise and reward young minorities who come from the ghettos and barrios for simply doing what other kids do every day without praise. Americans literally treat them as heroes if they go to school, don’t join gangs, stay away from drugs, and/or refrain from siring or bearing bastard children of their own.

We certainly don’t similarly praise or reward the vast, normal majority of our youths for such behavior. Instead a large segment of society claims that they unworthy of praise, or even the fruits of the labor, because they are somehow privileged.

Personally, I can think of few greater injustices than lowering the expectations of a culture to the point where we glorify those members of that culture that behave in a manner that we demand from our own.

With the US Census Bureau’s intent to change the questions it asks millions of Americans about health insurance, which will lower the estimated number of uninsured Americans, it’s pretty clear that the Obama Regime is looking to alter and adjust the metrics and success criteria of ObamaCare. Simply put, they’re changing the yardstick.

By Any Measure…Except The Objective

But then, this is par for the course for the Obama Regime and its devotees. Insofar as they’re concerned, anything and everything that is linked somehow to Obama can be measured in any way, shape, or form except for an object measurement. To do the latter would be “racist.”

On simply cannot violate the boy’s Black Privilege by not allowing him to lower the bar for his performance in order not to fail.

Liberals, Progressives, and the Angry Negroes which the former two groups have a destructively codependent relationship with just love to rant and rail about “White Privilege,” condemning whites for possessing the features of modern life that should be and are available to all with the wit, skill, and will to accrue them.

Oh but how they will scream if an American even mentions Black Privilege and its effects upon society. Yes! Black Privilege – the privilege to fail and always have be declared society’s fault; the privilege to do as one wills without consequence because it wouldn’t “be fair” to hold one to normative standards of behavior.

And no Black in the history of America has made more use of- and gained more benefit from Black Privilege than Barack Obama.

While the comic above specifically references President Bush Jr., Obama’s favorite scapegoat, the same sentiment also holds true for every other previous POTUS. But the all the previous presidents were White men and, therefor, held accountable for the actions, especially those that bothered the Leftists in America. Yet Obama is held blameless for his transgressions, real and perceived.

Nor can Obama’s lack of accountability to chalked off to his being both a Democrat and an avowed Liberal because the Left has never been shy about pillorying those of their own who have betrayed the tenets of Liberalism. And nobody can honestly say that Obama hasn’t betrayed the image the Liberals painted of him on the tabula rasa he presented them.

No, there can be no doubt whatsoever that the only reason that Obama survives as POTUS is the fact that he’s Black and Black Privilege enables him to do whatsoever he pleases without any fear of the Left or the Blacks turning against him or even not attacking any Americans who dissent against the boy’s actions and agenda.
