2022 Is Not New

2022 Is Not New

Most days so far it really seems that 2022 is not new. Frankly, it feels like it’s 2021 Built Back Better!

2021’s Over! Aw F**k, 2022

2021's Over! Aw Fuck, 2022
2021’s Over! Aw Fuck, 2022

In equal parts sadness, frustration, and possibly hysterical hilarity, this seems to be a fitting meme for the turning of the year from 2021 to 2022. It kind of puts a whole new spin on Don’t Look Up, doesn’t it?

The Year(s) Of Corona-Chan

The Year(s) Of Corona-Chan
As It Was, So Shall It Be
The Year(s) Of Corona-Chan
As It Was, So Shall It Be

“Happy” New Year. 😐 Frankly, there seems little to celebrate and less to differentiate 2022. In these, the years of Corona-Chan and the media’s and the Democrats’ manipulation of the surrounding panicdemic, one year just runs into the next, and none seem any better than the last.

Don We Now…

Don We Now Our Plague Apparel
Tra La La Tra La La Wear Your Mask!

Truly, this is the perfect new version of a classic Christmas carol, because, if certain sorts are to be given the hand-out of our credence, ’tis time to deck the halls with masks and handsan. 🙄

Fortunately, Amazon Makes It Easy To Buy Them

But hey! It wouldn’t be the first Christmas carol to be deprecated or changed to either fit the times or certain sorts’ sensibilities. And, having products for sale and purchase to support it is very much part of America’s holiday traditions. 🙁

Masks Are In Vogue

Masks Are In Vogue

Color my shocked, shocked I say! 😆 Masks are in Vogue. Who’d have thunk it!?! It’s crazy, right?

Yeah, no! It makes perfect sense. Given that there are huge herds of the sorts who will seemingly never “allow” the COVID-19 pandemic to end and for the Civilized World to return to some level of normalcy, it makes perfect sense that Vogue would pander to their sensibilities.

In truth, the mass panic, mask requirements, lock-downs, and later voluntary shut-ins have gutted the fashion industry, and Vogue makes it money of that grievously wounded industry. Survival dictates that they’d decide that masks are the new thing.

Still, there is some benefit to the madness. The coronavirus and its surrounding, manufactured panic are not the ill wind that has blown nobody any good. It’s actually done a lot for America as well as much to it.
