RTO? Not Bloody Likely!

RTO? Not Bloody Likely!
RTO? Not Bloody Likely!

Periodically we’ve been hearing about a movement to Return To the Office now that the panicdemic – if not to some people’s minds the pandemic itself – is over. For most of a year now we’ve been hearing about it and that is likely to increase in frequency, desperation, and stridency in 2023. But, quite frankly, I don’t see it happening for the most part or across many industries that actually moved to remote work due to COVID-19.

But, simply and statistically put, the majority of workers who can work remotely want to continue to do so forever. Hence, it’s not bloody likely that RTO will gain much traction in the foreseeable future.

I’m Not Even Going To Try Getting My Work Clothes Back

And besides, the wise amongst us have already repurposed our investmentwearthe clothes we purchased and maintained for fiduciary purposes – for other purposes that brought us better, more immediate, and more long-lasting benefits. 😉

I mean, honestly, I haven’t worm my old businesswear in years and I’m not going to try to get them back from my women at this point.

She’s An Office Wonder

In truth, it’s hard to keep even a small office running smoothly. It involves a plethora of tasks and duties that are as needful as they are tedious. So we should appreciate our receptionist, our secretary, our administrative assistant, and most assuredly our office manager.

She’s An Office Wonder

She’s really a superheroine in business wear and a wonder in the office. A goddess, if you will, deserving of respect and worship. Who else can all that she does while, at the same time, so beautifying our work environment?

And it’s even better and more beautiful if she’s not one of the ones complaining about how cold it is in the office

Frigid Feministas

Petula Dvorak - Fat, Feminazi SowGentleman, did you realize that the thermostat setting in your office is sexist? Well, according to the Washington Post’s colluminst, Petula Dvorak it is. To hear this Feminista sow tell it, most offices are kept too cold for women as part of a fiendish sexist plot because women can’t wear light linens, sundresses, flowy silk shirts, or short-sleeve tops to the office without being uncomfortably cold and suffering from a degradation of work performance.

And no, Gentlemen. Once again according to Petula Dvorak, claiming that these women should dress in a more office-oriented manner, as we men do in our suits, is at least as sexist.

Then, this is Feminism – anything that doesn’t excuse a female from the consequences of her choices – sartorial in this case – is sexist.
