Reflections From a Murky Pond

It’s sort of hilarious, but it’s also sort of sad. Democrats were all about how President Trump is in the Epstein files, then the files were finally released at President Trump’s repeated orders. All of a sudden, as the famous and influential Democrats were “exposed,” they suddenly started demanding that people ignore the Epstein files because being in them didn’t really mean anything. 😆

Yeah, these Democrats really should have considered the backblast – or is it fallout at this point? – of making a big deal about millions of unredacted, unsubstantiated, and uncontextualized documents, many originating from “anonymous,” unvetted sources.

NOTE: At this point in time, I’m largely withholding any personal judgment upon the vast majority of people listed in the Epstein files, including Whoopi Goldberg. Epstein was a serious power player, and he was “involved” with a large percentage of the wealthy, powerful, and/or influential people around the globe in a variety of ways, many of which don’t seem to have a link to his sex slavery enterprise.

The only reason for Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Illinois) to block the subpoena for Jeffrey Epstein’s flight logs was that he – and/or other prominent Democrats – was listed on those flight logs. No other possible rationale makes any sense whatsoever. OK… there’s maybe one other plausible rational for Durbin blocking the subpoena request: childish petulance since the subpoena was requested by Senate Republicans.

A lot can be said against ole’ Bill Clinton’s sexual proclivities, but his daughter, Chelsea always was assured of a safe childhood. Hell! From the start, she looked just like her mother, whose looks and demeanor probably had a lot to do with Bill’s proclivities.

Also, by way of honesty, there’s exactly zero evidence that Bill liked prepubescent girls. All eight women that Epstein brought to the Clinton White House could, at least, pass for adult women. Similarly, all of his rape victims – Hey! #BelieveAllWomen, remember? – have been at least nominally adult. Chelsea was going to be safe even if she didn’t look just like Hillary. 😉
