Dems’ Striking Hypocrisy
Democrats are well-known for their hypocrisy, but their complaints, threats, and seditious incitement to commit mutiny and insurrection over President Trump’s strikes on cartel narcoterrorists is beyond the pale even for them.
Obama, their golden child, authorized 542 airstrikes – that we know of – that killed an estimated 3,797 people, including 324 civilians, dozens of whom were children. Four American citizens were killed in those strikes, with one of them being the specific target of the assassination despite never having been charged with a crime, much less tried, even in absentia. Obama had a wedding struck, resulting in many women and children being killed. He even authorized a sustained airstrike upon a Doctors Without Borders trauma center, killing many patients, doctors, nurses, and staff. And, it must not be forgotten that Obama made extensive use of “double-tap” strikes, where a target is bombed and then bombed again a short time later, often as first responders arrive.
The Democrats? They had nary a problem with any of this. War Crimes? No, just honest mistakes that Obama couldn’t possibly be blamed for, even after those mistakes were often enough to show a pattern.
But President Trump launches strikes against Venezuelan narcoterrorists who are actively shipping drugs to America, and the Dems start screaming about International Law, War Crimes, and in some cases actively calling for our military to violently depose him.
The hypocrisy is striking in the extreme. So extreme that I’m beginning to think that extreme hypocrisy may be a symptom of advanced Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).
