Promoting Tolerance

Rage Boy - A Devout Pakistani Muslim Behaving The Only Way It Knows HowThe Liberals and other apologists for Islam and Muslims love to rant, rave, and caterwaul about the need for the peoples of the Civilized World to show tolerance for Islam and Muslims within our nations. Any indication that the citizenry of these nations are not overtly welcoming to Muslims is met with virulent hatred and scorn by these Liberals and with cries of Islamaphobia, racism, and bigotry.

While biased – they only demand tolerance to be shown towards culturally non-normative religions – the Liberals’ attitude and demands are not completely without merit. Tolerance is a virtue and a certain level of it in necessary to the function of any nation.

Hence, I will repost here the words of an associate of mine who also feels the need for tolerance:

I am truly perplexed that so many of my friends are against the building of new mosques in America and the UK.

I think it should be the goal of every American and British resident to be tolerant.

Thus these Mosques should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance.

That is why I also propose that two nightclubs be opened next door to each of the mosques, thereby promoting tolerance from within the mosque.

We could call one of the clubs, which would be gay, “The Turban Cowboy “, and the other a topless bar called “You Mecca Me Hot.”

Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork, and adjacent to that an open-pit barbeque pork restaurant, called “Iraq o’ Ribs.”

Across the street there could be a lingerie store called “Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret” with sexy mannequins in the window modelling the goods.

Next door to the lingerie shop there would be room for an adult sex toy shop, “Koranal Knowledge”, its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side a liquor store called “Morehammered.”

All of this would encourage the Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us, so the mosque problem would be solved.

Tolerance is a gift and, like all gifts, is best when shared. Additionally, tolerance often begets tolerance and the Muslims within the Civilized World do have something to prove

Really, I think we let them build their mosques, largely wherever they like, and give them a chance to show that they’re as committed to tolerance as the Liberals demand that people be. πŸ˜‰

  1. Paradigm Says:

A reporter asked a headmaster of a Muslim school here how he handled gay students. He answered “we don’t have gay students, that’s your problem”. I guess it’s easy to be tolerant when everyone conforms to your ideals.

  2. jonolan Says:

Pretty much, Paradigm, not that I completely blame them; plurality, when expressed as directly competing and antithetical cultures, is not the best course for a people to take.

Muslims don’t belong in the Civilized World and normal people don’t belong in the Muslim World – in no small part because Muslims and their dhimmi, Liberal shills could never accept that tolerance is a two-street and that they have to show it as well.

Still, I’d love to see the joke in the post actually enacted. πŸ˜† When, not if, the Muslims went violently ballistic over it, it give me and others the legal cover to cull their membership…

  3. ZielonyGrzyb Says:

Why only mosques? Why not place some night clubs, sex shops, and, for that matter, mosques in front of, say, Methodist churches? Thus we can coercively “teach” tolerance to all.

I don’t really understand how you can subsume some 1 billion people under one word (Muslims/Islam). And then make any judgments about them.

What is the “Civilized World”? Our over-consuming, unequal, self-interested society? Were London riots a sign of that “civilization”, or were they perhaps caused by Islam?

  4. jonolan Says:

Yep; you’re like any other fungus – kept in the dark and fed bullshit, Zielony Grzyb, apparently anti-liberty, anti-Christian, pro-Muslim, socialist bullshit in your particular sad case.

But on to what passes for your points…

You’ll find it fairly common for there to be nightclubs and/or sex shops near Christian churches in the Civilized World and it rarely causes any significant outrage because the clergy and congregations in question are members of Civilization and have a modicum of tolerance, whereas the Muslims within the Civilized World eschew such when it is demanded of them – though they’re ever quick to demand tolerance from their host nations.

As for lumping a billion+ Muslim into a singular group – Try reading; I was speaking of the Muslims within the Civilized World. How they choose to live and act within their own areas of the globe is largely, in my opinion, they’re own business unless it spills over into the more normal areas of the world.

As for the riots in London – That was the end result of Liberalism and Socialism in the UK. If you raise whole generations of “domesticated poor” taught that they’re entitled to everything and anything and responsible for nothing, you have to expect them to turn feral when you cut the feed in the trough.

  5. ZielonyGrzyb Says:

I don’t want to prolong this “discussion”, since, as you will agree, it is futile. Nevertheless, let me make some points clear: first, I am not a socialist (as I already once explained to you). Second, I am not anti-Christian (I actually have a Christian background). Third, that you mean only Muslims in your imagined “Civilized World” doesn’t change much – they are a highly diverse multiplicity of communities.

Aren’t you able to answer anything contrary to your own opinion without attacking and offending the other side? Or is this what you call liberty?

  6. jonolan Says:

Yes, I can agree that there is little point in prolonging our interaction; I’m not interested in attempting to convert the enemy when they are obviously not amendable to conversion.

As for your assertions – If you don’t want to be labeled as anti-Christian, don’t try to make a false equivalency between Christians’ behavior and Muslims’ behavior when it comes to tolerance, at least not within the temporal context of the 20th or 21st centuries.

If you want to play it off that you’re not a neo-Socialist, don’t rant about the Civilized World being an, “over-consuming, unequal, self-interested society.” Such rhetoric will give you away every single time. πŸ˜‰
