How To Negotiate With Them

Both Obama and Biden tried to negotiate with Hamas, and both failed to achieve anything, even in the short term. And frankly, this followed the pattern of US Presidents’ involvement in Israel’s wars for survival. Since Carter, they’ve largely ended up with Israel on the losing side of what few negotiations bore any fruit whatsoever. This has simply been because all the previous POTUSes have approached these negotiations from a position of appeasement, unwilling to project power.
But now Hamas and other forces are dealing with President Trump. He actually understands – at least somewhat – how to negotiate with these sorts. He negotiated from a position of strength, not appeasement. That is what Hamas understands and respects to a certain extent. That’s how he brokered a cease-fire between Hamas and Israel that was similar to what Biden had wanted but utterly failed to achieve. He offered them much the same as his predecessor did, but also threatened them with annihilation if they refused.

But, understand that what President Trump achieved was a ceasefire, not a lasting peace. Hamas will, with the aid of Iran, other Muslim states, and complicit “Liberals” within the Civilized World, rearm and resupply as quick as they can. Then, the rockets will once again fly and their mujāhidīn will once again strike the Israeli people in the most vile ways that they can. And why wouldn’t they? That is exactly what their supporters, e.g., the Democrats, want them to do.
