Obama Created Jobs

Obama's Job Creation

Obama – I Did So Create Jobs!

Never let it be said that Obama hasn’t created jobs or that some of those jobs were actually in America.

In fact, with his and his family’s penchant for vacationing, the boy is doing his best to keep the service sector alive and above water in these troubled days when most American families are being forced to curtail their vacations. Of course all that golf and all those vacations were probably required as part of his campaign financing deal with the SEIU…

Is he really all that bad? Unemployment seems to be on about the same level as most EU countries. The public debt/GDP is a little elevated but again, compared to the EU it is not in the extreme, clearly below that of Greece, Italy, Ireland, France, UK, Germany, Canada and Portugal.

Judging by the countries mentioned above, it seems to me that corruption and multiculturalism (especially in the form of large Muslim minorities) are more devastating to a nation’s economy than having a slightly left, right or centrist government.

Not to put too fine a point on it and not to be too insulting but, given the differences in basic ideology, infrastructure, and resources, America being on par with Europe is horrible and a sign that Obama is that bad.

Also, Muslims and multiculturalism, while horribly damaging to any nations, aren’t a major economic factor in America, though I freely admit that they are in Europe where both Muslims and the anti-nationalist forces are much stronger per capita.

Finally and to put a very fine point on it, Obama keeps jabbering about creating jobs and keeps doing exactly the opposite. At a bare minimum, ridicule is in order.

That’s how politicians are these days. They always say what they think the voters want to hear. Even though I’m a lefty, I still admire Margaret Thatcher. She didn’t suck up to people, just pushed her own ideas. Earned respect the hard way.

  4. jonolan Says:

Yes; that’s what things have devolved into, Paradigm.

Mrs. Thatcher earned respect, even from her enemies. She did it the hard way because that’s the only way there is to earn respect. If it isn’t hard, you don’t earn any respect.

We have had interest rates at essentially zero for 3 years. That’s like putting cocaine and caffeine into the IV drip of a guy in a coma. Our economy should be doing back flips by now, but the patient can barely get out of bed .

It all comes down to everybody being frozen by Obumbler. Everyone is afraid to commit money because they have no idea what the rules will be. The electric companies have no idea just how bad the EPA will screw them over their coal plants. The Canadians are frozen on the pipeline. The banks can’t figure out Dodd-Frank. The big companies are also frozen by the NLRB.

Companies need clarity. That is the one thing nobody ever gets from President “let me be clear “.

Don’t forget the as-yet still unknown provisions and exceptions / waivers set into Obamacare, Alan. They play directly into the lack of job creation because businesses literally don’t know how much each employee is going to end up costing them.

But you’re absolutely right. Uncertainty, more than anything else, has a chilling effect upon jobs creation.
