Independence Day

It’s the Fourth of July, America’s Independence Day. So, my fellow Americans, be a good cheer and remember that you celebrate not only America’s independence from a tyrannical Power but the successful fulfillment of a holy oath.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

This statement, which the the 56 men representing the 13 united States of America signed their names to, was not mere words, for when the founders affixed their names under those words they pledged before- and to their God their lives, fortunes, and honor towards the founding of a new nation and for a cause that they believed so firmly in that they were willing to die for it.

Never doubt that America was founded by Divine Grace and the steadfast, true worship of men of faith and character. Never doubt that little in this has changed, despite the bleating of those would usher in a new Crown to rule over us.

    The desperate chance the founders were taking is lost on today’s average citizen. They were traitors to the most powerful nation on Earth. If they failed they could be executed. Add in the fact that they were all very different from one another and the truth of Benjamin Franklin’s warning is obvious. ” Yes we must indeed all hang together or most assuredly we will all hang separately. ”

    Do we deserve what they handed down to us? Each generation has to answer that.

    And each generation will claim that they do. Yet, those claims become less and less valid as more and more people claim they deserve what they haven’t and will never earn.

    Sooner or later – I hope sooner – we’re going to have truly re-earn of liberty by exterminating those within OUR borders who hate everything America stands for and want nothing but to take from our people in order to feed their worthless eaters.
