Obama On Fair Trade
As as know President Obama is heavily concerned with interstate commerce and a big proponent of “fairness.” Hence, he’s more likely to undertake domestic trading projects than most of his predecessors in the White House.
President Obama was exiting Marine One the other day on the South Lawn. He had an animal under held each arm. As he approached the side door of the White House a young Marine on security detail holding the door for him said āNice pigs, Mr. Presidentā.
The President stopped in his tracks and responded to him āMarine, these arenāt pigs, theyāre Arkansas Razorbacks! I got one for the First Lady and one for the Secretary of Stateā.
The Marine responded āNice trade, sir.ā
I’d imagine that Obama is also looking to shop Biden…But that’s a pig of a different color. š
