America Needs…

Posted in 2012 Election, Politics on February 27th, 2012

There is no doubt in any sane person’s mind that Obama rose to power on a three part platform: that he wasn’t President Bush; the “Magic Negro” promise; and his avowed belief in far Left, Socialist policies. These three points are what allowed him to garner enough funding to buy his way into the Presidency.

The first two are important only in future historical context and as an object lesson in real racism; the reactionary nature of the electorate, and ethnoguiltism and racism are well established phenomena. It is only the third leg of Obama’s platform that really matters right now – his left-wing, socialist demagoguery based upon the postulate that America needs to be fundamentally changed.

Obama - We need to destroy their very fabric of America
We Need To Fundamentally Change America

Obama’s professed racially tinged Liberal and/or Progressive ideology is important for two reasons:

  1. It was and is the rationale used by many for supporting Obama. White Leftists supporting him can claim that they’re doing so based upon his policies instead of his race.
  2. It’s Obama’s avowed ideology that stands the real chance of further damaging America because he has to show that he’s making a concerted attempt to fundamentally change America into a European style, neo-Socialist quasi-nation subordinate to extra-national powers, and any success that he has in this will be a failure for America.

The sole bit of good news is that Liberalism and Progressivism, seasoned with racial angst, are only Obama’s professed and avowed ideologies. The boy is far to narcissistic, self-centered, and small to let any of his supposed beliefs get in the way of his legacy. This means that he’s controllable through his own weakness and that Americans, if they maintain or expand their control of Congress, can blunt most of his actions and policies that would harm America.

Hehe…Keep control of the House and get a few more seats in the Senate and Americans can impeach, convict, oust, and imprison or even hang Obama over Libya.

There’d be a certain joy – Schadenfreude certainly – in forcing the Liberals and Progressives to defend the President’s “right” to engage in illegal wars.

No, Obama is eminently defeatable even if he manages to shuck, jive, lie, and demagogue his way into a second term; he’s just a selfish, spoiled, little boy playing at being a man and, like all such brats, it just takes a firm hand to keep him in line – the last three years have proven that.

If Americans can keep their eyes on their local and state legislatures and upon the Congressional elections, we can look at Obama and, when he acts outs, metaphorically say, “Go to your room, boy!”

America needs, not to be fundamentally changed, but to fundamentally changed back into the great, shining beacon of freedom, liberty, responsibility, and pride that is meant to be – and, if Americans keep a firm hand on the strap, we can do that irrespective of whether or not Obama is continued to be allowed to be President.

2012 Obama Platform

Posted in 2012 Election on February 21st, 2012

Given the boy’s campaign rhetoric, the 2012 Obama Platform is going to be very simple, very simple indeed…

2012 Obama Platform - Entropy We Can Believe In
Yes We Can Eat The Rich

This, of course, makes perfect sense. The Campaigner-in-Chief is skilled enough at running for political office – if not in holding that office – to know that he has to stay within the preconceptions and comfort zone of his constituency.

Never go outside the expertise of your people – When an action or tactic is outside the experience of the people, the result is confusion, fear and retreat….

— Saul Alinsky
Rule #2, Rules for Radicals

So, of course Obama’s 2012 campaign for reelection is going to be centered upon class envy, racial angst, and an outraged sense of “denied entitlement.” That’s what his supporters are most experienced in and comfortable with.

Obama, himself, will mostly only speak of these things in a “nuanced” and deniable manner. His and his handlers’ proxies, however, will do far more than just dog-whistle for classism and race-baiting. That’s what they’re there for, after all.

Obama and his handlers have an uphill battle ahead of them though. Convincing anyone to give Obama another chance is going to be difficult. Americans have never tolerated his titular agenda and the Liberals and their minority tenants have been chagrined to learn that, while possibly as much of a Leftist as he claimed to be, Obama’s primary goal is and has always been his personal perceived success and all other ideologies must be thrown under the bus as needed to ensure that success.

Unplugged From Fantasy

Posted in 2012 Election, Politics, Technology, The Environment on February 17th, 2012

Obama and/or his “uncoordinated”  Super PACs do love them some green energy and black lies. Their latest afront to Americans and reason is their the recent ad which glibly fosters the impression – they are too nuanced to lie outright – that Obama created 2.7 million jobs in the “green energy” sector of America’s economy.

Obama's Green Energy Fantasy - Shucking & Jiving his tattered way to failure
Damn! They Said The Cord Would Reach To November, 2012

Once Americans are unplugged from the fantasy, however, they’re forced to realize that it is nothing but a fantasy – a pack of lies and misinformation meant to save one singular job, Obama’s.

That 2.7 Million jobs figure that Obama and his die-hard cultists are shopping is, from all appearances, loosely based upon a report by The Brookings Institution. That report bears only vague surface level resemblance to their claims.

The clean economy, which employs some 2.7 million workers, encompasses a significant number of jobs in establishments spread across a diverse group of industries. Though modest in size, the clean economy employs more workers than the fossil fuel industry and bulks larger than bioscience but remains smaller than the IT-producing sectors. Most clean economy jobs reside in mature segments that cover a wide swath of activities including manufacturing and the provision of public services such as wastewater and mass transit. A smaller portion of the clean economy encompasses newer segments that respond to energy-related challenges.

The clean economy grew more slowly in aggregate than the national economy between 2003 and 2010, but newer “cleantech” segments produced explosive job gains and the clean economy outperformed the nation during the recession. Overall, today’s clean economy establishments added half a million jobs between 2003 and 2010, expanding at an annual rate of 3.4 percent. This performance lagged the growth in the national economy, which grew by 4.2 percent annually over the period (if job losses from establishment closings are omitted to make the data comparable). However, this measured growth heavily reflected the fact that many longer-standing companies in the clean economy—especially those involved in housing- and building-related segments—laid off large numbers of workers during the real estate crash of 2007 and 2008, while sectors unrelated to the clean economy (mainly health care) created many more new jobs nationally. At the same time, newer clean economy establishments— especially those in young energy-related segments such as wind energy, solar PV, and smart grid—added jobs at a torrid pace, albeit from small bases.

Working backward from the numbers leading up to the 2003 – 2010 time-frame of the report, only 500,000 “green economy” jobs et al were created during 2003-2010, a small fraction of which were in “green energy.” Since Obama didn’t become POTUS until 2009, that means that only 125,000 “green” jobs were created during his regime, once again only a small fraction of which were in “green energy.”

So, even if Americans give Obama and his cultists the handout of accepting any “green” job for the purposes of the veracity of this campaign ad, that still shows the reality is only about 4.6% of the fantasy that they’re promulgating.

Obama’s Wasteful Budget

Posted in 2012 Election on February 14th, 2012

So, about a week late under the law, Obama has submitted his 2013 budget to Congress. It is, as was expected, nothing but a taxpayer-funded sheaf of empty campaign rhetoric and lies based upon pandering to Leftist populism and class warfare.

Summing Up Obama’s 2013 Budget

Unlike a lot of other people I’m not going to bother dissecting Obama’s budget because I’m not going waste my time pretending that it is anything but more useless jabbering from the Campaigner-in-Chief.

Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid (D-NV) has indicated he does not plan to send Obama’s 2013 budget, or any budget, to the floor for a vote, claiming that the summer’s Budget Control Act includes funding for the next two years of government operation.

We do not need to bring a budget to the floor this year — it’s done, we don’t need to do it.

— Sen. Harry Reid

Really! What’s the point of stretching out Obama’s “free advertising” by treating his “budget proposal” as if it held any meaning? I, for one, do not choose to lend such aid and comfort to America’s enemies.

The 44th President

Posted in 2012 Election, Humor on February 11th, 2012

Ladies and Gentlemen of the world, I give you Barack Hussein Obama, the 44th President of the United States of America displayed in what will likely become iconic fashion.

Obama proving that education and intelligence are unrelated
Yes, This is the 44th POTUS

And believe me, if you’re reading this from outside the US, I and all Americans wish I could give him to you, though that would be cruel on our part and you’d be foolish to accept the offer.

The boy is walking, talking – and talking, and talking, and talking ad nauseatum – proof that being handed access to fine educational opportunities will not necessarily make one smart or wise.

You’ve got to give him credit though; he’s the only boy on the planet than can say, “Err….Derp,” and have thousands die and economies topple.
