Reflections From a Murky Pond

Really! You’ve got to love fish. Hopefully you also love fishing because it’s one of life’s better entertainments.

Well here are six women, all celebrities, who love fish enough to get naked with them in order to draw attention to the sad fact that we’re not practicing anything remotely close to what could be called intelligent and sustainable fishing practices and, resultantly, we’re crashing fish populations.

This is a world apart from- and at least an order of magnitude better than PETA’s stupid attempt to manipulate children with their Sea Kittens campaign atrocity. Then Fish Love is a practical and pragmatic group of activists whereas PETA is a cult of pseudo-religious fanatics so this is to be expected.

The British environmental activist group, Fishlove was set up in 2009 by Nicholas Röhl, co-owner of the Japanese restaurant MOSHIMO, and actress Greta Scacchi to raise awareness of the unsustainable fishing practices that are destroying the the earth’s marine ecosystem and threatening local economies across the globe.

Yes, it’s true that Fish Love, like all activists, bases their actions on the worst-case scenario and probably overplays the immediacy of the threat to both marine ecosystems and local economies. That doesn’t, however, mean that they’re in any way shape or form wrong in slightest about the threat itself.

If nothing else, and to expand upon Fish Love’s theme, we don’t want this to come to an end, now do we?

So we really need to fish more responsibly if we want to continue fishing in the future.

Since the death cult’s birth the Warmists have struggled with naming the climatic system that forms the core of their faith. Time and time again both the facts in evidence and the public’s skepticism has forced them into lexiconical shifts:

1. Global Warming
2. Climate Change
3. Climate Chaos
4. Climate Disruption
5. Climate Uncertainty
6. Carbon Pollution

Truth be told, it’s been rather amusing to-date to watch and listen to the Warmists scrambling and scrabbling about, trying to re-brand dogma every year or so in an attempt to wrench it into some semblance of a shape that matches reality while still providing an excuse for their attacks upon Western Civilization and the basic liberties of its citizenry.

The free peoples of the world will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of Global Warming they will adopt every fragment of the socialist platform, or so the Warmists hope.

The most recent change, however, is not humorous in the least. The problem is that the latest re-branding, “Carbon Pollution” came from Obama’s  campaign machine, Organizing for Action. They declared the new name Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Given the proclivities and pathology of the Thug-in-Chief, there’s little doubt that this re-branding of Global Warming is a precursor to the Obama Regime use of the various regulatory agencies under its control to enact the Warmists’ agenda without the factual color of law or bothering with garnering the legal authority to do so.

If CO2 is now Carbon Pollution, then one of the greatest polluters is Obama. He’s spewing out great gusts of it with his constant campaigning and jabbering rantings.

By the Warmists’ own accounting the boy’s “sustainability” should be brought into question. 😉

This recent change in naming, coming as it does from the Obama Regime’s proxies and foot soldiers, should concern each and every American. With the collapse of the Warmists’ cult’s public acceptance, they’re desperate and desperate people are often willing to go to extreme measures to stave off utter failure and total collapse. This is made worse by their alliance with the Obama Regime, who has never shown much respect for America’s law or its People.

But who knows? If Ms. Germanotta sees this post – not a total impossibility – perhaps it’ll give her some inspiration. 😉

As signs of catestrophic anthropogenic global warming – or whatever the eco-Leftist are currently trying to re-brand it as – keep failing to appear and more and more actual science, as opposed to willful fraud, surfaces, it’s looking a lot like the Warmists are out of ideas of how to promulgate the doctrine and dogma of Al Gore’s doomsday cult.

Suggestions? …Bueller…Bueller?

At this point in history, having beggared credulity and staining the already tarnished reputation of what passes for science these days, I don’t even think “crowd sourcing” will help the Warmists. 😉

I’m quite happy to say the days of people lending credence to Cryptoclimatology are over. Their search for Hotfoot has turned up little or nothing that is believable.
