Burn This Bitch Down

Posted in Politics, Society on December 7th, 2014

There’s little to say in favor of Louis Head, Michael Brown’s “stepfather” who helped incite the riots, looting, and burning of Ferguson, MO in the wake of Officer Darren Wilson not be indicted by the grand jury. There’s little to say in the buck’s favor but not nothing. His screaming, “Burn this bitch down!” may well be an important teaching moment.

Obama: Burn This Bitch Down!
Obama to America: Burn This Bitch Down!

Louis Head’s screaming of, “Burn this bitch down!” may explain the entirety of the Obama presidency better than anything else has ever explained it.

Head didn’t get the result that he wanted and his response, typical of a Black who’d been balked by America, was to get angry.  Obama as well didn’t get the result that he wanted and his response, typical of a Black who’d been balked by America, was to get angry.  They may be at opposite ends of the spectrum of violence and immediacy of reaction but the underlying feelings and responses to stimuli are the same.

Seen in the light of the “teaching moment” that Louis Head provided America, Obama’s foreign, economic, and domestic policy decisions and positions make sense now, where once they didn’t.

Product Placement

Apple has always excelled at marketing and advertisements. Even their choice of “White” as the color scheme for their devices was a masterstroke, as anyone can attest who’s seen the sea of people walking around with Apple’s pale earbud cords dangling from their heads.

Now, with their new iTit, they’ve raised the bar once again. And, as a added benefit, this Apple offering may be the first new technology in decades that actually brings people together instead of isolating them in individual worlds of personal distraction. 😛

Le Morte d’Amérique

Posted in Politics on December 4th, 2014

It’s taken 50 years of ongoing decline, but the long, slow death of America has stumbled and trudged apace.

From Camelot to Scamalot - Kennedy to Obama, the death of AmericaFrom Camelot To Scamalot

Not only has Camelot fallen, it has no been openly mocked and lampooned in the installation of Obama as POTUS. Truly, we have gone from Kennedy’s Camelot to Obama’s Scamalot. Even the men of Monty Python fame couldn’t more turn a legend on its ear.

Le Morte d’Amérique indeed! But there will be no grand and high prose such as Sir Thomas Malory penned. This lament will be written in banal soundbites by the MSM.

Where Did Ebola Go?

Ebola Just Up and Vanished
Ebola Just Up and Vanished

Well, the simple answer is that Ebola hasn’t gone anywhere. Indeed, despite the now near complete media blackout, Ebola is progressing apace in West Africa.

What has happened is that the American news cycle has moved on because both Americans and Liberals, quite rightly, can’t sustain interest in fighting a disease that is endemic to West Africa and which poses only a limited risk to America.

The only reasons it made the news in the first place is because Obama, in the lead up to the 2014 elections, made a big, public deal about it and this resulted in Ebola reaching US shore and being very poorly contained. Once the combination of public outcry causing a tightening of containment procedures and the election being over, Ebola stopped being news.

School House Rap

Posted in Humor, Politics on December 1st, 2014

OK, to start with, there’s no rap in this video. I used “Rap” in this post’s title solely because rap is a unique Black corruption of music, which plays well with Obama’s unique corruption of the office of President. 😉

That being said, this video of Saturday Night Live’s mockery of Obama’s executive orders and how they are designed to overturn the law as enacted by Congress is hilarious.

SNL’s School House Rock Mocks Obama’s Executive Thuggery

SNL’s bit of sketch comedy aptly mocks and lampoon’s the boy’s overreach, would-be tyranny, and general thuggery as it pertains to immigration and Obama’s disregard for both the law and the constitutionally mandated limits on executive power. Rarely has SNL delivered such a well-deserved bit of disrespect for the man holding the office of POTUS.

Making Law Under The Obama Regime
Making Law Under The Obama Regime

The thing is that Obama has never much concerned himself with the law. Frankly, the boy seems to hold the law in contempt, enforcing it or not as he sees fit and changing said laws via executive fiat whenever he so chooses to.

This makes Obama worthy of mockery, disrespect, despite, and disdain…at a bare bones minimum that represents more truly Americans’ tolerance and tendency to give the hand-out of excuses to America’s First Black President than anything else.
