Reflections From a Murky Pond

During his campaign to become the 44th President of the United States Barack Obama repeated claimed that he wanted to change America, a country that he found to be fundamentally flawed – though he professes to love it.  It seems that President Obama has concocted a methodology for doing this.

Hidden behind all the hoopla over President Obama and his democrats’ ill-considered Stimulus Bill is a quiet but significant attempt to consolidate power within the hands of White House personnel and change the very makeup of America and its representation in its government.

President Obama wants to place the U.S. Census Bureau under the direct control of the White House, specifically his Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel. This would allow President Obama to control the very shape and formation of America, or at least how it is reported.

That would certainly allow President Obama to enact fundamental changes to our nation.

This is important and should not be ignored by the MSM or the American people. The US Census is critically important to the very fabric our how our nation operates.

With all of its political implications, hijacking the Census from the Commerce Dept. and letting it be run out of Rahm’s office is like putting PETA in charge of issuing hunting permits.

All DeLay did was rearrange the deck chairs. This would allow Rahm to redesign the whole ship affecting everything from congressional districts to who and where eligible S-CHIP children, adults and ‘poor’ rich people live.

With the 2010 census on the horizon, it’s highly probable that Obama and Emanuel will attempt to redraw congressional districts so that they are assured a Democrat majority in Congress for the foreseeable future. The census also determines how almost all federal and state programs are funded.

Also, given the fact that senior White House officials announced that the census director would report directly to the White House in response to Black and Hispanic leaders complaining about Commerce Secretary-nominee Judd Gregg, there may be additional darker motivations for placing the U.S. Census Bureau under the control of the White House instead of the Commerce Department.

Sadly but not surprisingly, the MSM media outlet to cover this “coup” was FOX News. The rest of them are apparently to interested in being President Obama’s propaganda corps to do their jobs as long ago those jobs were envisioned to be done.

I’m fairly sure I’ll be labeled as a racist for this statement, But Pres. Obama has shown himself to be nothing more than a spiteful little boy. A spiteful little boy who chooses to lash out at those who fail to give him whatever he wants.

I guess our new President expected the rest of the country to accept his mandate like his devoted followers have done.

As part of President Obama’s efforts to close the US detention facility at Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo) and release the various terrorists held therein, he asked the Us Military to delay their trial of Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, the Al-Qaeda terrorist leader who is alleged to have orchestrated the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole that killed 17 U.S. sailors in Yemen.

The US military refused this request.  The judge in the tribunal , Army Col. James Pohl, said it was a difficult but necessary decision to refuse the President’s request. The tribunal must move forward to protect “the public interest in a speedy trial”  – as is required under the 6th Amendment of the US Constitution.

President Obama’s response to being balked by US military was to have all the charges against the terrorist, Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, dropped.  It was arranged for Susan Crawford, the retired judge and political appointee who oversees the commissions, to issue a ruling overriding Col. Pohl and dismissing without prejudice all charges against al-Nashiri.

Spiteful – that’s the only word for it. When he’s defied by the Military courts, he simply lashes out to punish them without care for the damage he causes.

The President – in what must be an excess of either stupidity or arrogance – then tried to invite the families who lost loved ones in the Cole bombing to the White House on Friday, February 6, 2009. Few if any were reported to be pleased with invitation and many refused to meet with President Obama at all, or help him smooth over this atrocity.

My son was blown up along with 16 others. I buried body parts for three years. I’m still suffering and now he’s withdrawing the charges?

“He may be the President but he’s wrong.” Obama may also be the Commander in Chief, but he’s done little or nothing to inspire the US Military’s support or loyalty. He may be the “leader of the free world” but he’s nothing but a spiteful little boy.

Some things that people do seem to defy comprehension. Some acts are so heinous that normal citizens of America just can’t grasp how anyone could do those things. This is because most people don’t truly have an understanding of evil.

Eighteen and pregnant, Sycloria Williams went to an abortion clinic outside Miami and paid $1,200 for Dr. Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique to terminate her 23-week pregnancy.

Three days later, she sat in a reclining chair, medicated to dilate her cervix and otherwise get her ready for the procedure.

Only Renelique didn’t arrive in time. According to Williams and the Florida Department of Health, she went into labor and delivered a live baby girl.

What Williams and the Health Department say happened next has shocked people on both sides of the abortion debate: One of the clinic’s owners, who has no medical license, cut the infant’s umbilical cord. Williams says the woman placed the baby in a plastic biohazard bag and threw it out.

Police recovered the decomposing remains in a cardboard box a week later after getting anonymous tips.

That would be murder; more specifically it would be infanticide – which should be murder with “special circumstances” attached to it. The actual perpetrator, Belkis Gonzalez, and his 12 accomplices including Renelique should never be allowed to see the light of day a free persons again. Preferably, they should each in turn have an appointment with “Old Sparky.”

😆 We’ve all learned by now that you can do almost anything faster, easier and better with computers.  Perhaps the War on Terror can be approached the same way. Of course, you’ll need need to understand the Unix command line and shell scripting to achieve the best results…

Of course there are still some issues with the “operating system” used in the above example; as has been pointed out, everything in /bin should be “executable.”

Also note that this must be done from the Bourne shell. Using the slowly deprecated Bourne Again shell ($bash) will accomplish the goals faster, but may result in the destruction of all files in /middle-east.

Obama and his Democrats’ Stimulus bill is a pork-laden atrocity of truly biblical proportion. If you spent $1,000,000 USD every day since the birth of Christ, you still wouldn’t spend an amount equal to the – currently – $819 Billion price tag they want to ask our descendants to pay.

There’s actually been a bit of discussion on this topic recently. Allow me – and my geekishly math- and history-ridden mind to break it down for you. Senate Republican minority leader Mitch McConnell started it with:

Just to put a trillion dollars in context, if you started spending the day that Jesus was born and you spend a million dollars every single day, you still wouldn’t have spent a trillion dollars. This is a lot of money.

Since then various people have been posting what the actual expenditures would total if one had the capability of doing this. They’ve been mostly using the formula of 365 (days) x 2009 (years) x $1,000,000 (dollars), which yields a figure of $733,285,000,000 – well short of either $1 Trillion or the currently estimated $819 Billion the Democrats want to spend (waste).

Those people are wrong though. They’ve forgotten to take several things into account

• The mortal birth of Jesus Christ aka Jesus of Nazareth aka Yeshua ben Yosef aka Isa occurred in either 0 CE, 4 BCE, or 7 BCE depending on which scholars you listen to.
• 10 days were lost when we switched from the Julian Calendar to the Gregorian calendar.
• The calendar years averages out to 365.25 days per year; they’re forgetting Leap years.

So the set of formulas is and their results are:

• (365.25 x 2009) – 10 x 1,000,000 which equals $733,275,000,000
• (365.25 x 2011) – 10 x 1,000,000 which equals $734,507,750,000
• (365.25 x 2014) – 10 x 1,000,000 which equals $735,603,500,000

As you can see, all the possible results from the set differ from the $733,285,000,000 cited by many people on the internet. Of course all are also far less than the what the Liberals want to spend on their Holy Grail of spnding bills, so I guess it doesn’t really matter that in the long run.

Note: My formula and figures aren’t completely accurate either. I didn’t have the right sort calendaring tool available to determine if there were any extra leap years based on each possible birth year for the Christians’ Messiah. I also don’t have a proven birtdate for Him, so these numbers are – much like everyone else’s I’ve seen – based on whole years as opposed to a more accurate reckoning of the time involved.
