Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to
govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters.
It has been oft said in days gone by that freckles are the kisses of angels. Well, if there be even some small measure of truth in this, should we not all strive to behave as the angels do?

Due to issues between the latest version of WordPress and my gallery plugin, galleries are currently broken. As a workaround, right-click gallery thumbnails and choose Open in New Tab or New Window.
