Obama v. America

Posted in Politics on July 8th, 2010

President Obama, through the agency of his pet ape, Attorney General Eric Holder, has filed a federal lawsuit against the state of Arizona in an attempt to destroy the state’s new law against illegal immigration. While the case will be formally called The United States v. Arizona on the court’s docket, it should be called Obama v. America.

This is not just an attack upon the state of Arizona; it is an attack upon the good people of America, the vast majority of whom support Arizona’s SB 1070.

In their 25-page complaint, President Obama’s lawyers argue that Arizona’s measures are pre-empted by federal immigration laws and policies, the supremacy and interstate commerce clauses of the Constitution, and by Supreme Court precedent, all of which, Obama’s myrmidons claim, have established that immigration matters are exclusively under federal power to enforce or not as they see fit.

The nation’s immigration laws reflect a careful and considered balance of national law enforcement, foreign relations, and humanitarian interests. Congress has assigned to the United States Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and Department of State, along with other federal agencies, the task of enforcing and administering these immigration-related laws. In administering these laws, the federal agencies balance the complex – and often competing – objectives that animate federal immigration law and policy. Although states may exercise their police power in a manner that has an incidental or indirect effect on aliens, a state may not establish its own immigration policy or enforce state laws in a manner that interferes with the federal immigration laws.

This, coming from the man and his administration who have previously had no problems with states passing laws that directly contradict existing federal laws, is equally pathetic and pernicious. It plainly shows that he has no respect for America’s laws and is only concerned about threats to his perceived authority and to his agenda, which is far more about placating the Hispanic voters than it is about enforcing a solid and sane set of immigration laws and policies.

Yes, it’s Obama v. America but be assured that, one way or another, America will win.

To Shari’a And Beyond?

Charles Bolden, Obama-appointed head of NASASome things are so bizarre, so far out of the boundaries of normative behavior, that they beggar the sane man’s mind. If the Administrator of NASA, Charles Bolden is telling the truth, then Obama’s view of the world and NASA’s role within it is one of those bizarre things.

It’s utterly nonsensical to think that NASA should be used as a Muslim Outreach program.

According to President Obama’s appointee, however, using NASA as just such a Muslim Outreach program was set forth by President Obama as one of Bolden’s primary goals as NASA’s Administrator. At least that is what Bolden to Al-Jazeera.

Details  from Fox News:

NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said in a recent interview that his “foremost” mission as the head of America’s space exploration agency is to improve relations with the Muslim world.

Though international diplomacy would seem well outside NASA’s orbit, Bolden said in an interview with Al Jazeera that strengthening those ties was among the top tasks President Obama assigned him. He said better interaction with the Muslim world would ultimately advance space travel.

“When I became the NASA administrator — or before I became the NASA administrator — he charged me with three things. One was he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science … and math and engineering,” Bolden said in the interview.

The NASA administrator was in the Middle East last month marking the one-year anniversary since Obama delivered an address to Muslim nations in Cairo. Bolden spoke in June at the American University in Cairo — in his interview with Al Jazeera, he described space travel as an international collaboration of which Muslim nations must be a part.

If one assumes that Charles Bolden spoke the truth to Al-Jazeera, and there’s little if not no reason to believe otherwise, President Obama’s attitude toward NASA’s role is a stern detriment to our nation’s space program and his overt dhimmitude is a clear and present danger and existential threat to the men, women, and children of the Civilized World.

To Shari’a And Beyond!

The very last thing that we need to do is get the Muslim World involved in America’s – or any other nation’s – space programs. Given the religious mandates, ideologies, and attitudes of these wholly or dominantly Muslim nations, encouraging them or, as is likely planned by Obama, actively helping them to improve their grasp of the sciences and technologies involving space flight – nearly all of which have direct and horrible military or terrorist applications – is utterly and dangerously irresponsible.

These Muslim nations and the Muslim terrorists they spawn and sponsor across the globe can already do quite enough damage. Increasing their rocket and missile technologies is only going to make things far, far worse and costs the lives many innocent civilians.

An Informed People

Posted in Politics on July 6th, 2010

The Gadsen Flag - Don't Tread On MeTwo of the foremost things that allowed the domestic enemies of America to continue to exist within our nation and to rise to power are ignorance on the part of Americans and the fact that these Leftist enemies suborned and corrupted the American educational system.

What better way to destroy a nation than to refuse to each its values and to teach foreign and/or false values instead?

When a generation of people in America was raised without true knowledge of what our Founders created, what they meant and envisaged, and what being an American means, the road to our enemies’ rise was paved and ready.

I know no safe depositary of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power.

— Thomas Jefferson
Letter to William C. Jarvis, 1820 AD

Fortunately for America, the Tea Party has moved beyond the first, needed tactic of widespread protests and now has begun to focus on the longer term strategy of providing educational opportunities to the people.  They seek now to inform the people’s discretion, as it were, by such education in order to revitalize and re-empower the American citizenry, which the Liberals have tried hard – and nearly successfully – to turn into mere subjects devoid of even the knowledge that they, not their elected tools, are the government.

From the Washington Post:

BEALETON, VA. — “Tea party” activists across the nation tried to put the “independence” back in Independence Day this weekend with festivals and other gatherings focused on the Constitution — and how to use it for political gain.

Coupled with an upsurge in organized classes and book clubs, the trend reflects a growing effort among conservatives to teach supporters how to do political battle using an inviolable weapon: the nation’s founding documents. It’s a change in emphasis for a movement that rose to prominence with spirited and sometimes unruly protests across the nation.

But it’s one that organizers hope will yield real political results by arming supporters with the detailed knowledge to back only those candidates who are loyal to their ideals.

“The rallies were a start, but the goal now is to get people to stop and really think about things,” said Kerry Scott, an organizer of the Alexandria Tea Party, one of several hundred conservative activists who attended “An American Event,” a Fourth of July festival for “God and country” staged by a local farmer on rolling farmland in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains this weekend.

This seems to me to be both a brave and wise move on the part of the Tea Parties. Encouraging people to learn about what America was supposed to be is the best long-term strategy I’ve heard of to get our country back on the track it was always meant to be on and from which it has so horribly strayed.

It’s sad that it is necessary though. Such thing should have been continually taught in our schools, but with the educational system’s subornation by our enemies it’s been a long time since this was true. We’ve devolved and degenerated a great deal since James Madison’s time.

A popular Government, without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a Prologue to a Farce or a Tragedy; or, perhaps both. Knowledge will forever govern ignorance: And a people who mean to be their own Governors, must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives.

— James Madison
Letter to to W. T. Barry, 1788 AD

When Madison wrote that he was lauding the growth of educational institutions in America because they were teaching citizenship and educating we, the People in matters of governance so that as many as possible could take up their duties as the true government of America.

Sadly, things changed and some sorts decided that an informed people was contrary to their own interests. Perhaps though, their effectiveness in this ploy is finally beginning to fade and falter.

What The Left Wants

Posted in Politics on July 5th, 2010

The Leftist, Socialist, Anti-American Pseudo-Economist Paul KrugmanWhat does the Left want? The Left wants the same thing that it and its un-American – frankly, most are virulently anti-American – followers have always wanted – your money if you’re a hard working American and a member of the minority that actually pays federal income taxes.

Of course that is what the Socialists, Communists, and/or Marxists have always wanted in the past, and it is certainly what these latter day, degenerate Neo-Socialists and their minority tenants have been alternatively screaming and whining for in more recent, darker times.

It’s sad and frustrating that these traitors and heretics believe as they do, but its only surprising in how bald-faced and bold they’ve become in voicing their demands in the wake of Obama’s installation in the White House. Take, for example the recent screed in the NY Times by their pet pseudo-economist, Paul Krugman:

There was a time when everyone took it for granted that unemployment insurance, which normally terminates after 26 weeks, would be extended in times of persistent joblessness. It was, most people agreed, the decent thing to do.

But that was then. Today, American workers face the worst job market since the Great Depression, with five job seekers for every job opening, with the average spell of unemployment now at 35 weeks. Yet the Senate went home for the holiday weekend without extending benefits. How was that possible?

The answer is that we’re facing a coalition of the heartless, the clueless and the confused. Nothing can be done about the first group, and probably not much about the second. But maybe it’s possible to clear up some of the confusion.

By the heartless, I mean Republicans who have made the cynical calculation that blocking anything President Obama tries to do — including, or perhaps especially, anything that might alleviate the nation’s economic pain — improves their chances in the midterm elections. Don’t pretend to be shocked: you know they’re out there, and make up a large share of the G.O.P. caucus.

Firstly, if the Leftist filth, Krugman was honest instead of an anti-American Socialist, he would have said, “Yet the Senate went home for the holiday weekend without extending benefits yet again.” It is, after all a fact that Congress has extended unemployment benefits multiple times in the aftermath of Obama, Pelosi, and Reid’s failed Stimulus Plan, which they falsely claimed was designed to create jobs.

Secondly, How long do creatures like Krugman think we should carry these people on our backs? Yes, it’s decent and charitable to do so but for how long, especially when the Liberals ruling and wrecking this nation that they hate so have already buried us, our children, and our children’s children under so much deficit that it makes the eight years of President Bush’s and the previous Congresses’ spending look positively miserly?

Oops! I used a form of the word, “charity.” That’s bound to set off any Liberals who read this. They reject the concept of charity since it interferes with their sense of “entitlement.”

But Krugman is right in that there’s nothing that can be done – that we, the People are currently willing to do. Loyal Americans are not going to suddenly change their allegiance and their faith, and the domestic enemies the likes of: Krugman, the NY Times, President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the traitorous horde of their anti-American followers are not willing or possibly capable of changing theirs.

So we will continue to rail at each other, Americans and Neo-Socialist Liberals and Progressive engaged in a war of largely useless words over Liberty vs. the Nanny State. Truly though, there is little point in the argument a this point; of the three boxes that votes are contained in – the soap box, the ballot box, and the cartridge box – we’re past the point where the first is particularly useful, if it ever was.

The False Prophet

Posted in Politics on July 4th, 2010

All the religions of mankind have warned against false prophets, ones who cloak themselves in the faith but seek to sow the seeds of heresy. But such mendacious criminals, enemies of the body of the people, are not limited to formal religions; they are also present in nations and national identity and character.

President Obama is surely on these pernicious and traitorous filth. He preaches a false an anti-American doctrine and claims it to be orthodoxy.

In President Obama’s own recent words:

Being an American is not a matter of blood or birth, it’s a matter of faith.

Like all false prophets, Obama’s words sound good at face value and, without context, they seem true because they are true. Being American is not a matter of blood or birth, it’s a matter of faith, of beliefs, of character. There are very many who, while born and raised within the glory of America’s borders and culture, are not Americans because they do not have American beliefs or American character.

But President Obama, like all of his sort, chose to twist and corrupt this truth in order to further his own agenda instead of furthering the good of America and Americans.

It’s somewhat ironic that Obama used a phrase nearly identical to one I’ve used repeatedly – and one that so many of his followers have complained about my using.

I wonder how those Liberals who’ve complain about my defining being American by other than blood and birth will respond to their Messiah doing the same.

In President Obama’s cult beliefs that “faith” he speaks of must have nothing to do with America’s characters because he pronounced his words in the context of ranting against any state legislation that seeks to enforce immigration policy. The filthy Traitor-in-Chief also mouthed words to the effect that we shouldn’t strive to secure our borders, but to grant amnesty to the illegal immigrants and a “path to citizenship” instead.

We must all beware false prophets and their cult followers – and treat them when we encounter them fully and exactly as they deserve – without mercy or restraint.
