Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and gave him triumphal processions.
Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the new, wonderful good society which shall now be Rome’s, interpreted to mean more money, more ease, more security, more living fatly at the expense of the industrious.
— Marcus Tullius Cicero

Kellnerinnen Are Proof That God Wants Us To Be Happy (Click to Enlarge)
Personally, I’d say that it’s quite obvious that die Kellnerinnen (Waitresses) of the Biergärten (Beer Gardens, i.e., bars) are not evidence, but proof, that God wants us to be happy … and wants us to propagate. 😉
With the Dems having been allowed to be successful in their coup and their taking over the federal government, we’ve entered a time when Americans have to pay attention to how the sausage is made. We, the People, are the ones that the Dems – playing the parts of Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett – want and plan to grind up in order to feed us to their constituencies.
Of course, this shouldn’t come as a surprise at all. The Dems actions, culminating in the illegitimate farce that was passed off as the 2020 elections, played out like a penny dreadful.
Modern Math Class – So Much Worse Than Common Core
Honestly, we should forget the failure that is Common Core Mathematics. In the calculus of the Left’s war on Americans’ thoughts, there are far worse things to concern ourselves with. Chief among them is their use of the credulity of sheeple and the Left’s chosen Magisterium to label any American who dissents from their dogma as something evil.
This is just 18 random acts of beauty placed here for our enjoyment because Reflections From A Murky Pond is quite dark in content and needs occasional leavening. Well, that and I have a lifelong fondness for beautiful women.
Also, with the ongoing issues with the gallery plugin I’ve been using for over a decade, this is a good chance to further experiment with WordPress’s native gallery capabilities.
Just checking. I know that a lot of the sorts that vote for Democrats were quick to defend Kathy Griffin when she was holding a mock-up of President Trump’s severed head. And, I know that even more of that sort declaimed Americans’ response to it as being over-the-top, heinous, and Nazi-esque.
So, how about Uncle Joe’s severed head? Still funny? Still worth defending? Or is this another case like #BlackLivesMatter vs. the Capitol Protesters, where the “nature” of the perpetrators and/or victims has to be taken into account and decisions made solely on those criteria?
Due to issues between the latest version of WordPress and my gallery plugin, galleries are currently broken. As a workaround, right-click gallery thumbnails and choose Open in New Tab or New Window.
