Reflections From a Murky Pond

Allison McGuire and Daniel Herrington, two young, White entrepreneurs, co-founded  SketchFactor, which is an iTunes app for locating and avoiding “sketchy” or dangerous areas.

It uses a combination of publicly available data, e.g., crime statistics, and crowd sourcing to tag or flag areas according to various metrics for “sketchiness.”

SketchFactor, like all previous apps for location-based public safety was instantly decried as racist by both Liberals and Progressives and their minority tenants.

Essentially, according to Liberals and Progressives, if you try to actively try to avoid “sketchy” areas of a city – the first and most important step in any self-defense regimen – and you’re White, you’re a racist. Be a potential victim or be a racist; those are the only two choices allowed to you by America’s domestic enemies.

My home, NYC is often the site of significant street protests. Hellfire! We’re the home of the idiotic and meritless Occupy movement. Indeed, it’s quite common for our streets and bridges to clogged with- and closed by various groups spasmodically railing against one alleged outrage or another.

This is, of course, because NYC is heavily laden with Liberals and Progressives who find so very much in America that outrages them.

This is not to say that the protests by various Liberal and Progressive cells are spontaneous or performed without any forethought. They can and do carefully pick what outrages them and make some level of effort to ensure that they don’t have conflicting protests which might dilute their message.

And really! One can’t really expect them to protest anything that Muslims do; it might dilute the message of their protests against Israel, America, and Christianity…oh, and White people.

Threat Assessment: Ebola vs. Obama

Many Americans are concerned about the Obama Regime’s bringing patients infected with Ebola into the country instead of treating in situ in already plague-ridden areas of Africa. While their concerns are quite valid, Ebola isn’t especially contagious and, hence, may not pose anywhere near the level of threat to the American public as other “diseases” of African origin which are already endemic within our borders.

On the other hand, this may not be a completely fair comparison. Ebola is a virus while Obama and his constituency and followers are a parasitic infection – one that resulted from Americans falling into slovenly housekeeping practices.

There Are Certain Similarities

There are definitely certain similarities between Hamas’ use of Muslim children as human shields in war and Obama’s use of Hispanic children as human shields in politics. While hardly equivalent at the pragmatic level, both are cynical manipulations of the lives of the children in question.

Patrick “Pat” Condell is an Irish-born but British-raised writer, comedian and Atheist internet personality. He’s also one of the few Atheists who I have some respect for because he’s one of the few who will speak against Islam too, as opposed to the more normal Atheist behavior of only attacking Christianity.

In this instance, Mr. Condell pulls no punches in his condemnation of the Liberals’ and Progressives’ rank hypocrisy over Gaza, Hamas, and Israel.

Mr. Condell perfectly summed up the hypocrisy and rabid antisemitism of the Liberals and Progressives, once again insuring that he’ll be the only Atheist that they turn against.

He did something even more important though. He tacitly prescribed a cure for these filth. As the Liberals and Progressives are only willing to voice their hypocrisy and selective moralizing from a suitable safe distance, it behooves we, the People to remove that distance and safety from them. The Liberals and Progressives will be silent as soon as they’re shown by the American people that being otherwise is no longer safe for them or their kin.
