Reflections From a Murky Pond

B-B! …. B-B! …. B-B! Mmm, Mmm, Mmm! B-B! …. B-B! …. B-B!

Yes. I can easily picture Obama wanting to take over the airwaves and leading his faithful cultists in “Two Minutes Hate.” The boy does bear a resemblance to George Orwell’s Big Brother in 1984, though I suppose, in Obama’s case, we’d have to call him Big Brutha. What I couldn’t picture was his being able to do so…until now.

Now, Obama’s appointees in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is looking to overhaul the Emergency Alert System so the POTUS can speak to the country at a mere flip of a switch if he feels it’s a national emergency. And, as this is regulation not law, in approximately 30 days this overhaul will happen since the Obama Regime is not known for its bowing to public pressure or comments.

At first glance this seems to be an innocuous addition to Presidential powers. It even, if one doesn’t think too much about it, seems wise and practical to set things up so that, with a push of a button, the POTUS can takeover all of the nations broadcast media in order to speak to the people in the event of any emergency. But what possible emergency could develop that necessitated the POTUS addressing the entirety of the nation with such urgency that he couldn’t abide by- and stay within the normal channels and procedures for doing so? We have successfully navigated two world wars, numerous other armed conflicts, Muslim terrorist attacks, and countless natural disasters and disruptions without any POTUS having to coop the airways by fiat.

And just what would Obama consider a national emergency? As is always the case with any regulations put forth by his appointees in the Executive, it’s left to his discretion. Does the RNC qualify? The Tea Party? Rush Limbaugh? Yet another SCOTUS ruling on Obama’s criminality? Too many States opting out of ObamaCare? Something that Fox News broadcast that Obama doesn’t like and wants to rebut? Will it just be a “comforting” message that he and his are OK in the event of some disaster?

And, what would some future POTUS consider such an emergency to be? Even if Obama doesn’t abuse and misuse this privilege that he’s claiming for himself, it seems far too likely that a future POTUS, possibly as soon as 2016 depending upon who is elected or installed, will do exactly that. Do we, the People really want Big Brother or Big Sister on every TV and radio in the land?

No! Make Them Run On This!

As we begin the planning for the upcoming 2014 midterm elections – and early stage setting for the 2016 Presidential elections – the Democrats are, of course, scrambling for platforms to run upon. My thought is to give them a “hand-out” and provide them with one – ObamaCare and their support thereof.

I think we can run on this. I think there is so much in here that has value to every American, and mostly to people who have insurance.

ObamaCare has “worked so well” that we, the People shouldn’t let the Dems run upon it; we should make them run upon it and we can do exactly that if we choose the discussion instead of letting our domestic enemies say whatever they want in order to gain or keep power over us.

Let’s make it 2010 all over again and continue the rebirth of our nation. Then we can impeach and remove Obama, Holder, and many others throughout the Executive and Judicial branches of the Obama Regime.

What’s The Matter With You?

Isn’t it odd seeming that so many people living within America’s borders will place at least some of the blame upon the murderer if they kill someone by any other means than a firearm but, if the murderer did use a firearm, they place the blame on the gun and the murderer’s ability to possess it in the first place?

The logical disconnect is so broad and stark that it’s almost as if it’s not the murder that bothers them in the first place and that the gun grabbers want to disarm the American people for some other reason. That’s definitely something to keep in mind during the upcoming 2014 elections.

When the Muslim female attempted to hijack a Benghazi panel – and got herself well schooled by Brigitte Gabriel – she did bring up one point, irrelevent to the panel discuss but relevant to America and Civilized World.

How can we fight an ideological war with weapons? How can we ever end this war? The jihadist ideology that you talk about, it’s an ideology. How can you ever win this thing if you don’t address it ideologically?

This is relevant because in the war of Islam vs. the Civilized World, especially America, Islam’s jihadis have already won the hearts and minds of the Liberals and Progressives and, by extension, the politicians of the Democratic party within America’s borders.

Illegal Enemy Combatants

The image above is a very proficient use of Photoshop but there isn’t anything in it that the Left hasn’t said repeatedly, nor is there any call to action in it that the Left has tried their best to realize. Since mere hours after the atrocities of 9/11 the Liberals and Progressives have been siding with Islam’s jihadis and no time in the intervening years has their support wavered or waned.

My fellow Americans, if you love America and love her children you must remember that the Democrats now represent the jihadis and their dhimmi sympathizers against America and you must act accordingly in the fast approaching 2014 midterm elections.

Quantifying Harry Reid is quite simple. Using the metrics of: patriotism, honor, faith, respect for the People, respect for the law, or anything that can be used to describe his value to America as a political leader or his value as a man, the answer always comes out the same.

Reid – Exactly Zero

No matter how you compute the figures, no matter what measurements and metric you use, Harry Reid’s value is exactly zero. Reid is without value to the American people. The only ones who could ever ascribe a positive value to him are America’s enemies both foreign and domestic.

With the 2014 midterm elections fast approaching we, the People have another chance to restore the US Senate to American control and oust this worthless piece of filth, relegating him to the same status as Nancy Pelosi. We need to make the most of that chance.
