Reflections From a Murky Pond

This is nigh on perfect for these days. It showcases some of the specific agnorance – a portmanteau of ignorance and arrogance – of some Millennials and Gen-Zers. They really think that either they invented stuff or that it was invented after the time of Gen-Xers. The case in point be vinyl records, which a number them have “appropriated.”

Let’s, however, laugh at them and not get too hypocritically angry. After all, we did this too, as did our parents, and as did their parents… most likely all the way to the beginnings of civilization. 😉

Truly! Wouldn’t it be great for America and the American People if all the Socialists inside the borders of our country left and went to live in Socialist countries where, in theory, they’d be happier? And, would it be even greater for us if they took all the sorts that they use as an excuse for Socialism with away from America them?

I, for one, think so. But, sadly, most of them won’t leave by their own choice. If want that return to greatness and unity for America, we’re going to have to make their emigrating the best and only tenable pathway for them.

I present you the Irish Food Pyramid. 😆 And yes, while you can easily get just about any cuisine that you want in Ireland’s cities, this does sum up classic Irish food in general, or so personal and anecdotal evidence, as well as lived experience, strongly indicates.

Oh, and why can I make fun of my own friends and relatives in Ireland? It’s because, unlike certain sorts, the Irish aren’t fecking, skittering, perennially cheesed off omadhauns.

Aye! ‘Tis Halloween. The spooky, sexy, candy-laden time of year, and the colors of the season are black and orange, not red and green. Hellfire! There’s a whole other holiday, Thanksgiving, to come before it’s time for that shit.

I truly think we should all take full advantage of Halloween in these hellish times. And hey! Even if few of us are going anyplace and even fewer will likely be trick-or-treating, dressing up for the celebration works well at home for other pleasurable reasons as well.
