Reflections From a Murky Pond

Liberal and Progressive ecotards, especially the Warmists and climatards of today, are very much against any and all fossil fuels and very, very much in favor of various and sundry alternative energy source. Of course, these delusional Leftists have little to no understanding of economics or the energy density of fuel sources.

Now, if only we could take more advantage of some truly high energy density renewable and sustainable power sources…

If we truly want renewable, sustainable, ecologically friendly power generation, what we should be researching is how to harness the energy potential of women’s cleavage! The energy women’s tits-to-men’s eyes energy circuit could, if tapped somehow, generate such power as to utterly beggar the imagination. 😉

Really! This should be a no-brainer. We already know the amazing power contained – hopefully barely – within a woman’s decolletage. Also, while some claim it has already been weaponized, it still seems to be the best potential energy source available to Man.

All we have to do is figure out how to harness and transfer the power. Given that we’re getting better and better at applied quantum mechanics, this should be doable – possibly more and more quickly doable even than fusion power.

It’s Called Spring!

Yeah, this just about perfectly sums up the average, rank and file Warmist Climatard. Panicking and teaching their young to panic over anything and everything that they can somehow, some way claim to be caused by Global Warming – err … Climate Change? – err … Climate Chaos? – err whatever the current brand name is today.

America’s domestic enemies, the Liberals and Progressives, love to rant about McCarthyism – except, of course, when it used to further their own agendas. Then they’re all for it.

Nowhere’s is the more true – except for possibly “race relations” – than when it comes to Global Warming, specifically civilization’s causation of it. Once that’s involved, witch hunts are A-OK.

Late last month three Democrats on the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, without any authorization by said committee -  sought to achieve a “Chilling Effect” on dissent with Climate Change Orthodoxy by demanding that 107 groups surrender 10 years of their respective detailed funding source data.

For the last ten years, please provide the following:

• List of funded research efforts (including but not limited to grants, fellowships, scholarships, consulting contracts, contracts, honoraria, and speaking events) on or related to climate, climate change, global warming, environmental issues, air quality, atmospheric or oceanic topics, greenhouse gas emissions, associated impacts of greenhouse gas emissions, carbon dioxide, methane, aerosols, solar radiation, vulnerable animal species or ecosystems, geology, paleoclimatology, meteorology, astrophysics, or heliophysics.
• For each payment made to individuals and/or organizations associated with the funded research efforts listed above, please provide the following information:

1. Name of recipient;
2. Institutional affiliation;
3. Payment amount and duration of the term of the funded research effort;
4. Reason for payment;
5. Copy of the grant and/or contract, including any terms containing restrictions related to the disclosure of the source of the payments; and
6. Deliverables submitted as part of the funded research effort, including any publications, or written materials.

The demand by these Democrats can only be seen as a McCarthy-esque assault on organizations that they see as promoting “global warming” skepticism through funding research that might contradict the Warmists claims apocalyptic claims.

Both the Warmists and those who profiteer off their credulity and hatred for Western capitalism and global power aren’t going to go quietly into that cold, dark night of irrelevance that assuredly awaits them. As long as there’s money to be made or wealth to steal they’ll just keep hammering away it, irrespective of whatever actual climate data shows or how flawed their models are shown to be.

One thing that is changing, however, is that their masks are slipping and their true agenda is being spoken of openly at last.

It’s interesting that the head of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) has publicly admitted that their goal is the restructuring and reshaping of the global economy and global industrial base. I just don’t know if it’s good or bad that she was so willing to admit that the UN’s goals have more to do with modifying the economic climate through redistributive “justice” than the weather.

Such brazen honestly after over a decade of lies and misdirections is either a sign of desperation and folly, growing confidence, or yet another attempt to re-brand Global Warming, this time as a “Social Justice” issue.

Change is unavoidable. All epochs, periods, eras, and ages come to an end. Just as 360 million years ago the Carboniferous period ended, so too does it seem as if the New Carboniferous period – notable for its fixation upon CO2 – has come to a not-untimely end.

Then, this was never a sustainable era due to its chilling effects upon economies.

The ending of the New Carboniferous period will likely be dated from the moment that the Australian Government has abolished the carbon tax it had imposed in mid-2012.

Australia’s recent vote to repeal its tax on carbon dioxide emissions is a setback to establishing a similar charge in the U.S., both sides in the debate agree.

Australia started taxing carbon in 2012, one of about 40 jurisdictions to do so, before reversing course last week and becoming the first country to repeal the penalty.

The repeal will send international shock waves ahead of Global Warming talks next year, when major economies like China, India and America will consider global greenhouse targets beyond 2030. Given that Australia is similar to America in its energy-intensive lifestyles and industries, the repeal makes it highly unlikely that the US will choose to try taxes CO2 emissions.

The Warmists are, of course, gnashing their teeth in shock, outrage, and hatred over Australia’s repeal of the its carbon tax. Like the giant arthropods of the first Carboniferous period, they’re doomed to extinction. Unlike them, however, they can see the ending of the age and of themselves.
