Solving For Urban Crime

Posted in Politics, Society, The Environment on April 28th, 2012

ghetto-thug-02 Solving for urban crime should be approached kind of like how the Romans used to conquer little villages in the Mediterranean. They’d go into a little Turkish town somewhere; they’d find the first five guys they saw and they would crucify them. And then you know that town was really easy to manage for the next few years.

And so you make examples out of people who are, in this case, not compliant with the law. Find people who are not compliant with the law, and you hit them as hard as you can and you make examples out of them, and there is a deterrent effect there.

And, neighborhoods that are smart see that; they don’t want to play that game, and they decide at that point that it’s time to clean up. And, that won’t happen unless you have somebody out there making examples of people. So you go out, you look at an neighborhood, you find people violating the law, you go aggressively after them.

That’s my philosophy for solving for urban crime. You go into the ghettos and you crucify a few of the thugs. You make examples out of them and the rest of the hood toes the line.

And we do have some pretty effective enforcement tools. Compliance can get very high, very, very quickly.

You Can’t Do That!

The kindest, gentlest, and most civil cry from the Liberals and their minority tenants would be, “You can’t do that!” Most responses to this philosophy for solving for the Urban Crime question would be far more vicious and vitriolic, with some quarters making various threats of violence and insurrection in response to such practices.

Their response is, of course laughable – though history and current events have both shown Americans that the threats of violence from certain sorts must be taken seriously and dealt with accordingly – because their response is not based upon any sort of objective logic or moral standards.

Simply replace any reference I made to Urban Crime with violations of the EPA’s convoluted regulations and replace any references to neighborhoods or people with oil and gas companies and you have the statement that the EPA’s Region VI Administrator, Al Armendariz about his way of conducting operations in Texas.

Hear any Liberals or their minority tenants crying about tyranny, despotism, the police state, or anything over Al Armendariz’s way of running the EPA in his region? I sincerely doubt it.

Explaining Anything

Posted in Humor, Politics, The Environment on April 27th, 2012

Life is actually completely simple. Anything and everything in the world is very, very easy to explain…

Global Warming Murder
It Was AGW In The Study With Greenhouse Gasses

Anything even remotely unpleasant is because of Climate Change – which is, as all know through endless repetition and droning, President George Bush, Jr.’s fault.

The only flaw in this is “racism.” It hasn’t yet been determined if White’s endemic racism is because of AGW or if AGW is because of White’s endemic racism.

Anything even remotely pleasant is in spite of Climate Change – which is, as all know through endless repetition and droning, President George Bush, Jr.’s fault.

See? Life is simple. 😆

More On Noorgard

Posted in Politics, Society, The Environment on April 5th, 2012

Kari Noorgard - Eco-TrollKari Noorgard, all details of whom have been scrubbed from the University of Oregon’s website, is – or was; her fate is unknown – an associate professor of Sociology and Environmental Studies. She holds a PhD in Sociology but only a BA in Biology and has do degrees in anything related to “Climatology.”

Please think about that and what it means insofar as the Warmists’ agenda is concerned and what it means for society’s struggle against them.

The Warmists take the fraud, Peter Glieck’s words, “The debate is over!” completely seriously. In their minds Anthropogenic Climate Change, primarily caused by the Civilized World’s CO2 emmissions, is “settled science.”

Anytime anyone claiming to be scientist says that anything more complex than a Natural Law is “settled science” they’re likely not a scientists, but a charlatan trying to sell you something.

You’d most likely be better served by taking a gun or whip to them than by listening to them.

They’re not interested in proving their hypotheses in the wake of so many of them having been proved false or based upon fraudulent and/or erroneous data. They’re interested in researching how to reshape society’s position on the matter to match their own.

That’s the reason why Kari Noorgard is a professor of Environmental Studies and why she’s an honored speaker at the Warmists’ events.

Just as we cannot overhaul a car fleet overnight, we cannot change our ideological superstructure overnight. We must first be aware that this resistance is happening at all levels of our society. If you have to push a heavy weight, it doesn’t mean it can’t be moved, but in order to push it you had better know that you have something heavy and figure out how to move it — where to put the lever to shift the weight.

— Kari Noorgard
Planet Under Pressure Conference

Yes, and who better to task to find that lever than a sociologist who specializes in: environmental sociology, gender and environment, race and environment, climate change, sociology of culture, social movement,s and the sociology of emotions. Noorgard’s specialty is in using neuro-linguistic programming techniques to reframe issues as bias issues such as racism and sexism in order to provoke her desired responses.

I’m pretty sure, after living through: the Left’s subornation of the public schools system; the creation of “hate crimes” laws; the recent increase in race-baiting involving the Obama Regime; the vilification of Christian churches for their religious views on sexuality; and the way that “bullying” has been redefined, that we can posit what forms that lever would take and how, where, and upon who it would be applied with the most force.

Regarding Noorgard

Posted in Politics, The Environment on April 4th, 2012

Kari Noorgard - Eco-TrollRecently, it was made known to the public at large that University of Oregon faculty member, Kari Noorgard, who holds post-graduate degrees only in Sociology, describe any and all who disagree with the Warmists’ agenda as sick and likened their refusal to accept what the Warmists feed them to racism – to the point that she equated it with the 19th century struggle to end slavery.

You would think that a sociologist would know what kind of response this would engender.

Alas, education isn’t what used to be, especially in the “softer” subjects like Sociology. Noorgard’s few comments on the condemnation she brought down upon herself show that she is shocked by it.

The inflammatory rhetoric and Noorgard’s gross stupidity aside, she does have a point. There is a very strong and direct correlation between “Racism” and “Global Warming.”

Definition

In both Racism and Global Warming the core definitions of what these terms mean and what constitutes the causal factors thereof was ordained by a small minority and no dissent from that dogma is tolerated by them or their believers.

Scope and Blame

In both Racism and Global Warming the scope of causation and the bulk of the blame is placed upon a specific set of individuals.  In both cases it is predominately White populations who are blamed and expected to bear the costs and non-White populations who are excused and slated for tangible benefit under the proposed mitigation / reparation plans.

Individual Results

In both Racism and Global Warming any negative result, occurrence, or finding – no matter how far-fetched – is because of the declared problem and every positive result, event, or circumstance is in spite of the declared problem. No positive outcome is ever accepted as evidence that the problem is less sever than it is purported to be, much less largely nonexistent.

~*~

In fact, both the arguments and the proposed “solutions” for Racism and Global Warming are so fundamentally similar that is clear that we are still fighting the same war we’ve been fighting for several generations – the war to keep our liberty, the fruits of own labor, and the futures of our children. The enemy has couched things in wildly different terms but the nature of the attacks and their agenda have not changed one iota.

And, as we have painfully learned in the last few years, our first response to the shrill cries of “Global Warming” should be the same as those of “Racism.” They should be ignored unless it is convenient to tell the whiner how very little he, she, or it is worth.

Neither cry is anything more than the jabbering howls of Leftists and/or their minority tenants who have no argument of merit. Both are merely cynical and base attempts to silence the opposition through social pressure.

Really! What are creatures like Keri Noorgard, Al Gore, and their fellow travelers but the Jesse Jacksons, Al Sharptons, and Jeremiah Wrights of the Global Warming scam? Ignore them or mock them unless you’re forced to reach the conclusion that silencing them is worth the effort and personal costs and consequences.

A Green Economy

Posted in Politics, Society, The Environment on April 4th, 2012

Ah yes, A Green Economy – the goal of the Warmists. Let us for a moment consider what this Green Economy might look like for the people of Civilized World. Be warned though, it’s not a pretty picture.

A Green Economy
People Striving To Live In A Green Economy

It’d likely look a lot like Berlin immediately after WW2, a shattered ruin of a once rich and vibrant economy with men, women, and children despondently shambling around in despair of ever making ends meet.

Yes, this wasteland is what a Post-Warmist Green Economy would most likely look like to the people of the Civilized World if the doomsday cult of Global Warming / Climate Change / Climate Chaos / Climate Uncertainty were ever allowed to enforce their dogma and junk science upon society.

There’s nothing else and no better outcome that can be expected if they’re allowed to:

  • Destroy the current fossil fuel-based energy sector;
  • Price automobiles out of reach for most people and small businesses;
  • Drive up costs for all products and services;
  • Drastically increase taxes on businesses and families;
  • Wipe out whole sections of the job market;
  • Redistribute the wealth of the Civilized World to “developing” nations.

Fortunately for the Civilized World, this seems more and more unlikely of an outcome as time goes by. Yet unlikely does not mean impossible, so each and every man and woman must stay ready to defend ourselves and our children’s birthright by any and all means necessary – even if those means might make our gentler fellows squeamish.
