Disney's Next MCU Series?

With Disney acting out in the way those chosen to in recent years, this seems spot on. 🙄 I do believe that the Ex-Men would fit their new portfolio quite well.

As with most things, the SCOTUS’ recent decision that using race as a criteria for college enrollment is unconstitutional has its good and its related though largely irrelevant bad.
Almost everyone would agree that race should not be a criterion for anything. Well, they would if the race wasn’t Black. But, of course, the entirety of the Left and the “Black Community” does want race to be a criterion… if the race is Black and they get comparatively lowered admission standards. They unashamedly admit that the Blacks can’t meet normative admission standards.
But then, that is the entire premise of Equity! Hence, it’s good that this has been, at least insofar, as college admissions are concerned, finally eradicated by the SCOTUS.
The Left and their Black sharecroppers have been ranting how Legacies still get preferential admissions and, while its irrelevant and nothing but a subnormal straw man, they are right in their assertion that Legacies are bad. They suck. They are based upon nothing resembling merit or ability. But they’re also not something that law or the courts can correct for.
Hellfire! I’d like to an end to athletic scholarships too. But that would really set off the Blacks.
A simple thought on the absurdity plaguing us today:
We have reached the ultimate stage of absurdity when White people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, while Blacks are not held responsible for what they themselves are doing today?

FYI this, much like my thoughts on disappointment and pride was a correction of Ben Shapiro’s words, is a correction and clarification of Thomas Sowell’s. I’m not as bound by political correctness and a speak more freely, bluntly, and accurately than he can.

While generally true in many ways, this is specifically true of experts when it came to the COVID-19 “vaccinations,” and possibly true of the politicians involved as well. And yes, that would include President Trump. They were never wrong; they were always lying about its efficacy and risks.
These experts knew that the COVID shots weren’t vaccines. That’s why Fauci’s CDC changed the definition of “vaccine” so quickly. They also had to know – they did some testing, I assume – that the shots would harm, and even kill, some number of recipients. So, from the start, they weren’t mistaken; they lied. Again, they lied.
However, there are two separate considerations that must be applied to these experts’ mendacity. Firstly, they were dealing with a global panicdemic. They had to do something to combat it, even if it was more placebo than preventative, and they had to do it quickly. Secondly, we do need to address what “safe” means when one is dealing with any drug and the law of large numbers. Approximately 5.56 billion people were given the COVID shots and the number of deaths that we can point to being caused by this are in the 1000s or tens of 1000s worldwide. That tops out at 0.018% or, within the statistical margin for error.
So, their lies were understandable. But, they were still lies. The experts knew that the people’s definitions of an effective preventative and what was safe greatly varied from their own and chose to, as self-proclaimed experts almost always do, apply their own definitions to terms and simply proclaim to us what is and what will be, irrespective of anything else.
Something to think about since it explains much of the root of the schism inside of America right now:
Americans are disappointed with man’s depravity, but proud of the Founders’ ideals; liberals are disappointed with the Founders’ ideals, and proud of man’s depravity.

And yes, this is a paraphrasing, secularizing, and correction of a statement made earlier by Ben Shapiro.
