Reflections From a Murky Pond

“Saving” a tortoise and throwing in it the water where it will drown – yeah, sadly, ecotards are like that all too often. In fact, a certain number of this misborn and very poorly raised idiots are an active and credible threat to the environment they purport to save.

Maybe, just maybe, there’s fewer and less extreme idiots among the “environmental activists” today, but in the many years I worked in the environmental field, I saw or heard of many, many acts of stupidity by ecotards that were at least as bad as throwing a tortoise into deep water in to set it free. Some were downright dangerous to whole population groups. 🙄

Bikini Interlude – Close To Home Edition

This is just a simple, but still delightful, close to home edition of a Bikini Interlude. There is, after all, no real reason to save bikinis for beaches, especially if and when you’re trying to build up that first tan of the season.

Whether he’s described as the Biggest Idiot Destroying Entire Nation, the Biggest Idiot Democrats Ever Elected, or simply as Brandon, Creepy Uncle “Bad Hands” Joe is a sign of our times. Sadly, almost exactly as his previous boss, Obama, Biden is a symptom of the cancer plaguing America, not the horrific, disfiguring, and ultimately fatal disease itself.

Judging by this, I’m going to say that yes, it’s OK to pull the bag out of its box, stab a straw in it, and drink it like a Capri Sun. 😉

Sleestak vs. Gorn; the deadly hissy fit in history – or is that prehistory? – that never was but so should have been!

Fun Note: Part of what makes this image especially cool to me is how well put together it is. Land Of the Lost was from 1974; comic books were 25¢ in 1974-76; the art’s style matches Marvel comics of that era; and the Gorn was introduced in 1967. This comic could have existed!
