Cold Snap

Posted in Society on March 24th, 2014

So, in the Northeast of America at least, Spring peeked in and decided to stay away a while longer. Or, at least, that’s what this cold snap makes it feel like to me.

Making The Best Of The Cold Snap

So, with a bit of help from Helen Stifler, I’m trying to make the best of this somewhat unseasonal cold snap.

Sarah Outs Herself

Posted in Religion, Society on March 23rd, 2014

Sarah HarvardSarah “Harvard” – not her real surname, instead one her sire changed it to after the Muslim attacks of 9/11 – is a Muslim who was born within America’s borders. From the age of eight she largely hid this fact. Finally, either out of self-loathing as she claims or because it became profitable for her, she came out of the closet.

She decided to write an article for Salon about it.

In “Confessions of a secret Muslim,” Sarah spends most of her time ranting about the supposed bigotry and “Islamophobia” of Americans after the heinous attacks by her coreligionists.

Right near the end of her screed, when she’s describing her friends reactions to her finally coming clean about being Muslim is where Sarah really outs herself and Islam though.

One raised his eyebrows in a way that expressed his silent disapproval. Another said, “It’s OK. You assimilate, so you’re a cool Muslim,” as if the millions of other Muslims in the world aren’t “cool,” because they choose to remain faithful to their religion.

Finally, after 12 years of incessant lying, Sarah spoke the truth. Muslims cannot be a true part of Western, most especially American, society and culture while still being faithful to Islam. She unknowingly put the lie to the idea of the American Muslim in any context other than legalistic.

Simply put, America and Islam cannot coexist except through the same sort of segregation and isolation as the ultra-orthodox and Hasidic Jewish communities chose to employ within our borders.

A Poverty Of Ethics

Work Ethic
Spread Ethics Not Money

Material “Poverty,” such as it is in America, is a result more of ethical poverty rather than any of sort of material barrier to people improving their material situation. This is most especially true among the Black population within America’s borders. When it comes to work ethic or the lack thereof, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) had it pretty close to right.

We have got this tailspin of culture, in our inner cities in particular, of men not working and just generations of men not even thinking about working or learning the value and the culture of work, and so there is a real culture problem here that has to be dealt with.

— Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)

The Liberals and Progressives, of course, will dispute this vehemently and stridently. They will cite various material barriers to Black employment, such as: The War on Drugs, a lack of educational opportunities, the de-industrialization of urban centers, crumbling public transportation infrastructure, stagnant working class wages, globalization, and the decline of private-sector labor unions.

To no American’s surprise, they’re largely though not totally wrong and wrong in ways that are easy to point out.

Global Warming Ends!

Posted in Politics on March 19th, 2014

Michael Mann - False Scientist, Fraud, Corrupter, Liar, and valid target for extermination“Global Warming Ends!” should be the headline story for this week because it’s now obvious that Global Warming has ended. Oh, not the poorly understood cyclical rise and fall of Earth’s temperatures and not whatever warming effect might be caused by Man’s actions. No, what has finally ended is the farcical hoax and fraud of AGW as a sociopolitical and economic force in the majority of the Civilized World.

This theory is based upon direct scientific evidence. Columbia Journalism Review reports that 17 news organizations, including National Public Radio, Dow Jones, and The Washington Post, submitted an amicus brief in November, demanding access to Michael Mann’s emails during the time period of the Climategate scandals.

The 17 media organizations joining The Reporters Committee include:

  • Dow Jones & Company, Inc.
  • First Amendment Coalition
  • Gannett Co., Inc.
  • National Press Photographers Association
  • National Public Radio, Inc.
  • News Corp
  • Newspaper Association of America
  • North Jersey Media Group Inc.
  • POLITICO LLC
  • Radio Television Digital News Association
  • Reuters America LLC
  • Student Press Law Center
  • The Washington Post

The can be little doubt that, if the Lamestream Media and NPR(!) have turned against Global Warming’s cofounder, the AGW hysteria has ended in all but name. All that’s left is the fallout and the repercussions against its grifters who promulgated it.
